One of the main takeaways from the interview Attorney General Bill Barr did with Laura Ingraham was his saying that the Russia hoax would lead to criminal charges and would prove to be “one of the greatest travesties in American history.” Barr, however, didn’t limit himself to the Russia hoax.
In addition, Barr discussed America’s COVID-19 response and, specifically, addressed the media’s disgraceful behavior regarding hydroxychloroquine. As he said, they were temperate in talking about the drug until Trump expressed enthusiasm about it, at which point they went on a "jihad"

The on going media jihad is not just against Trump but also against all of us who support him.

Hydroxychloroquine is not a new drug. It has been cleared by fda and has been used for decades. Keep hammering against these ignorant political trolls. NPR needs to be defunded!!!!

"Worse, implies Romo, even though Armstrong’s patients don’t have side effects, they could have side-effects." Give me one example of a drug or vaccine that has no possible side effects.

I agree totally, their raging TDS takes them right over the edge. Trump, trying to strike a hopeful note, says that the combination may be helpful, and he clearly stated "or it might not be", and they go nuts. It is clearly not yet a fully proven drug strategy, but there have been many cases reported, including a 1,000 patient study in France, where hydrooxychloroquine in combination with a "Z-pack" of five tablets of azithromycin has been effective against this Wuhan flu virus. And there are no reports of serious adverse effects.
And once again, out of thin air, we see that Ms. Widburg conjures up the mysterious addition of zinc, which was not mentioned in the article, and never been mentioned in any medical test reports that I have seen, yet has been added in by writers and people commenting about this combination a number of times. Very odd.

I agree that TDS is a primary cause of media opposition to HYQ. I just wonder if they also oppose it because COVID-19 is especially fatal to the elderly, who consume a disproportionately large share of health care dollars. Without an effective treatment, this pandemic could weed them out, so government health care wouldn't be so underwater because of health care costs.

One has to wonder how many of those who died might have lived had they been treated with this drug. The media truly has blood on its hands.

A certain Dr. Fauci has ties to Bill Gates and his development of a different drug to treat covid-19. Follow the money.

Taxpayer funded public TV and Radio is left wing biased in my opinion. How can we defund it? Their commentators despise everyone who voted or supports Trump.

Sad to think that, if someone in her family came down with the virus, she wouldn't allow it.

Haters hate. It's what they do. Like the sun is yellow and the sky is blue, the left will rail against anything that supports anything that might support trump. It's what they do.

Big Pharma is always looking out for the best interests of their customers, aren't they? And they spend a lot of money advertising all sorts of drugs....very expensive drugs. Hydroxychloroquine is off patent and a generic. They can't make any money on it, and Fauci, Birx, and the MSM are funded in significant part by those profits! I'll bet Gates' vaccine won't be cheap! It's obvious to me what's going on!

The 'hate on Gates' stuff is getting pretty thick in the air, too. Will it be delivered by black helicopters?

If NPR has decided to become a 5th column against America in the fight against the virus, they should receive NO public funding and be brought under examination. Stations that carry NPR need to have their license approved by the FCC. If they are broadcasting medical disinformation that could cause patients not to seek effective cures, they are NOT serving the public interest. There is NO excuse for this. Such reporters should be fired and all their work should be pulled out of availability.
This should happen IMMEDIATELY.

A drug with side-effects? How hilarious! Drug ads and their endless list of potential side-effects have become a standard punchline. At the end of each ad's recitation of side effects, I always sarcastically add the phrase "and Death." NPR reporters aren't anywhere near as clever as they think they are.

There are medical articles, predominately from Europe, where TDS is not as virulent, available that describe the rationale behind adding zinc to the hydroxychloroquine; in fact, several claim that it is the hydrochloroquine that allows the zinc to actually kill the virus. While not validated in a "controlled study", its effect against the Wuhan virus is still open for debate. Controlled studies typically use placebos to establish a comparison between the use of a drug and no drug at all. Raise your hand if you would subject one of your loved ones who was knocking on Heaven's door to a known placebo vs an experimental remedy that has shown statistically valid promise. As for zinc, it has been a key ingredient of multiple vitamins within the US for more than 50 years.

For an election lasting more than 4 hours . . .
Substitute a word above and you will know what a side effect can be
