Trump should stick to his assembly of

President John F. Kennedy famously observed during a gathering of Nobel Prize winners: “I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White House — with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.” And so it is again with President Trump’s daily assemblies at the White House featuring some of the world’s leading public health experts, epidemiologists, business leaders and economists. Clearly, Mr. Trump listens carefully to his panels of experts. And — clearly — these experts often clash.

At some point, the clinical and medical experts are going to need to recognize that we cannot continue to keep Americans from working. At SOME POINT, we will have to just accept that some people will get this, and some small fraction, perhaps 1% or 2% will die from it. An old saying that my father said, "Ultimately, nobody makes it out alive." Yep, hoping for later rather than sooner, but there it is for all of us.

I think the two so called medical experts are incompetent. they were using horrible models to scare the American people to death. Those models were so far off ! The statement by Dr. Birx not to go to the pharmacy, supermarket was so irresponsible! The munchkin is a Hillary plant. They need to be fired.

Numbers to remember: 262,000 deaths from medical mal-practice last year. 13,000 to 18,000 deaths from the flu each year. 40,000 baby deaths each year at the hands of the fine physicians at Planned Parenthood. Corona virus is a mere blip in comparison. Throw out the dinosaur bureaucrats (Birx and Fauci) who want to wait till every single person is 100%. Let's use some common sense and get back to work.

"with extreme caution..." If this curious exchange between Jonathan Karl and Anthony Fauci is what it appears to be (https://twitter.com/JenniferJJacobs/status/1247312190895423490 ) extreme caution on the part of PDJT might not be enough. I just cannot shake the feeling that this is a lot like the lead in to the Iraq war. Mr. Bush took the advice of George Tenet, democrat in charge of the CIA who said WMD's in Iraq was a slam dunk and under the control of an erstwhile madman who "used chemical weapons on his own people". Democrats, republican politicians, talking heads and the media all insisted Saddam Hussein had them, he was dangerous and something should be done about him and his wmd. When it was all over and no wmd's were found in the quantities expected, "Bush lied, people died" and the worst invective I've ever heard used against a sitting president was all we heard from the media/democrats/leftists. Curious how the government reaction to COVID-19 struck at the heart of the economy and campaign rallies - both Mr. Trumps strengths. In view of what we now know about how well the democrats in the federal government and the mainstream media coordinate to undermine policies that work against their agenda, I have to wonder if we are not seeing the same thing. Everyone in the forefront of the government response is a democrat - some known to be adoring supporters of Hillary Clinton. And I have questions that are yet to be answered. Are they a part of the resistance? Would democrats really be so despicable as to crash the economy to prevent Mr. Trumps re-election? What will be the media mantra when this is over?

We elected a President and Congress. Our Chief Executive must reassert his leadership, including OVER his medical advisors, who really are statisticians. I trust President Trump's instincts. We can't wait for a time when there will be no more deaths. Because there are always going to deaths attributable to some contagion or another. The regular flu afflicts millions, hospitalizes hundreds of thousands, and kills many, many thousands every year, some years worse than others.

#4, I’ve seen your number estimate of death from medical malpractice before. An imaginary number dreamed up by an idiot liberal-lawyer. In 40+ years of active medical practice, I’ve not seen one deliberate murder by malpractice. Granted, medicine isn’t an exact science, much advice is intuition and best guess. But it must be very rare that any physician causes harm intentionally. So, screw your number. And your comment.

#3- Respectfully disagree about being incompetent. Based on other website poster comments, would suggest they may be walking a very fine line considering with both having connections to the Clintons and Bill Gates; personal political party affiliations may have some bearing as well. #5- Intuition and connecting dots can be quite discerning. The forces that have strategized to destroy President Trump these past four years (includes the 2016 campaign year) are not about to cease and desist with the next presidential election set for November 3, 2020. Noteworthy is the fact that not one prominent “GOP establishment” figure has offered a kind word about, or in defense of, President Trump and his family despite the irrational, unrelenting, vicious attacks against President Trump and his family. Silence often speaks volumes.

It was hard not to think of President Trump as the Queen of England delivered one of the most moving speeches imaginable in this difficult coronavirus-plagued time. The 93-year-old Elizabeth II did it to perfection. “I hope in the years to come, everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge (snip) The Brit grit the queen showed on Sunday reminds us that, to his great and enduring credit, Mr. Trump, for all his endless factual errors and sloppy misstatements, has for many weeks been trying to set a positive tone and give hope to America.

Sickness due to the coronavirus is real. Death — at least some — due to the coronavirus is real. But how much is real versus how much is a best guess? Unfortunately, we don’t know. Even more unfortunately, we can’t even ask without facing a barrage of criticism from a variety of camps. History may very well show that the biggest casualty of the coronavirus outbreak may not be the body count, but rather the ability of a population to think critically, to analyze rationally, to arrive at conclusions based on fact and logic, not wildly fearful emotions.

The Washington Post recently touted "an alarming new scientific model" that warns that treating COVID-19 like a somewhat more severe strain of flu won't cut it. The model predicts over a million U.S fatalities unless we shut down all non-essential mingling until a vaccine is developed, "which could take 12 to 18 months at best." Pretty bleak stuff. In fact, that's about the bleakest take on COVID-19 you'll find. Let's run with it. Let's momentarily not raise a fuss about having no reason to trust the model's underlying algorithm or whatever unknown assumptions about the virus generated its scary predictions.

A federal appeals court has rejected a lawsuit from Congressional Democrats who accused President Donald Trump of violating the Constitution by receiving profits from foreign governments' spending at his luxury Washington hotel and other businesses. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals decision did not address the legality of Trump's business dealings, but held that the more than 200 Democratic senators and House members who banded together in 2017 to bring the suit against the president lacked legal standing to do so.

CNN’s so-called media reporter Brian Stelter hid ABC’s Jeffrey Epstein scandal from CNN viewers. There’s just no question that the Project Vertitas video of Amy Robach laying out how she had nailed down the Jeffrey Epstein story all the way back in 2015, only to have ABC News “quash” it, is one of the biggest media stories of the last 20 years. Just like NBC News covering up for Harvey Weinstein, here you have ABC News covering up for a rapist and sex-trafficker, and almost certainly doing so as a means to protect Hillary Clinton’s doomed 2016 presidential campaign.

In a federal court in San Francisco, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America is currently suing the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) for illegally taping videos and racketeering, among other crimes. Founded by David Daledien, the CMP nearly brought Planned Parenthood down when it released its series of undercover videos. How Planned Parenthood avoided disaster is a story that deserves attention given what we have since learned about the agency that rescued it, Fusion GPS, the mastermind behind the notorious “Steele dossier.” In 2013, the then 24-year-old Daleiden launched what would prove to be the most sustained and effective undercover journalism project since the Chicago Sun-Times famed political sting of 1977.

In Louisiana's Saturday election, Republicans had a lot to cheer about. Among statewide office-holders, the incumbent GOP Lieutenant Governor (68 percent), Attorney General (66 percent), Treasurer (60 percent, and Agricultural Commissioner (58 percent) were all re-elected without the need for a run-off, under the state's 'jungle primary'-style system. It also appears that the solid Republican majorities in both state legislative chambers will remain intact -- with the GOP expanding its Senate advantage into super-majority territory by picking up a pair of Democratic seats:

"We did not respond to the partial catastrophes. Who now speaks of the fires in Australia, or remembers that 18 months ago a boat could cross the North Pole because the glaciers had all melted? Dr. Zeke Emanuel — the architect of the bloated Obamacare legislation — essentially called for an 18-month national lockdown to stem the coronavirus outbreak. Ezekiel Emanuel was the former health-policy adviser under Barack Obama. He’s also the brother of former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, who was Obama’s White House chief of staff. Zeke Emanuel has been spent his entire medical career in academia or government, so it’s safe to say that he doesn’t have to worry about missing a paycheck during a nationwide shutdown. Like fellow government bureaucrat Dr. Anthony Fauci, Emanuel offered a bleak picture of America’s future. “Realistically, COVID-19 will be here for the next 18 months or more,” Emanuel told MSNBC.
