Whether it is screwing up your face when sucking a lemon, or smiling while sitting in the sun, humans have a range of facial expressions that reflect how they feel. Now, researchers say, they have found mice do too. “Mice exhibit facial expressions that are specific to the underlying emotions,” said Dr Nadine Gogolla, co-author of the research from Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology. She said the findings were important

The findings are important to people who have sat in classrooms for sixteen years and need to do something, anything, to try to justify their existence. The rest of us could give a rat's behind. Bad pun intended.

Explains why they’re testing the Coronavirus vaccine on mice. Probably $25 million to keep mice healthy tucked into the $2.2 trillion emergency bill.

Get a clue, ALL animals have the same traits. I suppose these grubbers want a multi million dollar grant to study each and every animal...the answer is NO.

Oh, yes indeed. Recently, I found mouse droppings in my basement, particularly in a box in which I had some emergency food. The mice managed to rip apart a package that was vacuum packed--very tightly wrapped--with aluminum foil. And no doubt, they were SMILING when they walked away with full bellies!! Ungrateful creatures!!

In the (thankfully rare) cases where I find mice in my house, they have an odd expression that seems to say "Now I know why the cheese is free."

They have a heck of a camera because according to the picture they are able to monitor the mouses expression while in flight. Now was that flight in the talons of an owl or due to a mouse catapult?
