A couple days ago, Democrats and their media allies had a full-blown Victorian gentleman-style cow when President Trump merely raised the question of whether New York hospitals, which are short on personal protective equipment, might be victims of medical equipment "going out the back door."
Perfectly legitimate question, and doubly so in light of the anecdote he spoke of from a hospital executive. They all harrumphed umbrage, in unison. A sample:
No evidence for Trump's suggestion that masks are 'going out the back door' of New York hospitals -NBC News

Trump's from New York. He knows what the game is, and they don't like the fact that he does.

Hospitals have been easy marks for theft. When I was in the radiology products business, the scam was the "repair company" that would come to pick up say, a mobile x-ray unit, or an ultrasound unit ... something easy to move and have to take it to their "shop" to be fixed. The item, worth thousands of dollars, would roll out the door and never come back.

I think Trump plays us a bit and I'm all for it. He knows a great deal more via those who serve he and us than he lets on at times. He appears to have these off the cuff notions that later prove to be true. This man knows what he's doing. This serves above all to play the media, set's them up to challenge what he knows to be true by leaving the media the opportunity to believe he could be wrong, feeding them the rope with which they later swing.

Trump says thing and later they turn out to betrue.
He gets crucified for saying them, but the fact that they are true is seldom recognised by those who hate him.

How many thousands of "can't get none" respirators have been sold back to the original owning institution how many times? It's nothing more than harvesting the Federal dough dished out in this hysteria.

How callous do these corrupt people have to be to steal ventilators, knowing people are dying because of a shortage?
Really callous! The same degree of corruption as public officials in Puerto Rico, who hid warehouses full of relief supplies and then called out Trump for not sending enough relief! Only now it's Governor Cuomo doing all the squealing....

You'd think a reporter would check this out if nothing more than to prove Trump wrong. But they don't even do that. They just harrumph and leave it at that. And if Trump proves to be correct American Thinker tells us but the rest of the media is silent.
That's how they think they'll dump Trump.
Coronavirus is certainly no hoax, but the Left's attempt to blame Trump for it IS!

when the President made the comment about masks, I sat and pondered over explanations instead of theft. I guess a competent reporter would do the same.
and I couldn't fashion An explanation, other than theft.
In our upscale school district, a few years ago, a newly hired principal was stealing/ selling school AV equipment on ebay.
nothing much surprises me anymore..

Everything goes out the back door in New York, from restaurants, department stores, even car lots. Where do they think materials for the black market come from? Trump worked in the construction and real estate industries and I would imagine he has seen it all. You can't even park in a secure lot there and be sure that pieces or your entire car will turn up missing. There are jokes galore about New Yorkers but a lot of not very nice people live there.

Most theft from businesses are inside jobs. A friend of mine, a former Green Beret who ran a security business, was asked to determine who was stealing tickets from a gambling device in a social club and he set up a hidden camera. Turns out it was the night janitor. I once ran the computer system for a large wine distributor in the DC area. Management whined constantly about the inventory numbers being inaccurate in the data base. I took a quick look around and spotted hundreds of empty, smashed wine bottles out beyond the loading dock. Ask any restaurant buyer how accurate his inventory count is of steaks in the cooler. Not very. A local ATV dealer was being watched because of a high number of insurance claims on stolen vehicles. Turns out he was cutting a hole in his own fence at night and selling them under the table, then collecting the insurance on the same vehicle. It's everywhere.

Monica and her descriptives never cease to amuse. A full blown Victorian gentleman-styled cow? ROFL
I suspect Barr is ramping up the indictment machine right now regarding these hoarders, and I hope he hits them with every heavy book in his office. I also think one of the silver linings of this crisis is how much criminal activity is being exposed right now. I had no idea that hospitals were such hot spots for theft 'out the back door' issues. I only hope that administrators pop for some security cameras now that cover these 'back doors' and put a stop to this problem. I imagine in some cities, the drop in theft would pay for the cameras within 6 months.

Remember Claude Rains in Casablanca: "I'm shocked, shocked gambling is going on here." "Here are your winnings sir." "Oh Thank you." Inspector Cuomo take note.

The dems must love crow. It seems like they are dining on it daily. I will bet it has a very bitter taste.
You would think that after a few such meals they would wise up and check facts before opening their mouths but they can't seem to help themselves.
I don't mind too much. Clowns can be entertaining especially when you know that they are the fools.
