White House Correspondents' Association President Jonathan Karl rebuked his colleague Jim Acosta of CNN for his conduct on the job.Karl, chief Washington correspondent at ABC News, provided the criticism of his fellow White House reporter both in his new book Front Row at the Trump Show, released Tuesday, and during recent interviews. In the book, he argued Acosta, who has had a multitude of verbal dust-ups with President Trump during press briefings, was "playing into the explicit Trump strategy of portraying the press as the opposition party" and encouraged him not to "give speeches from the White House briefing room."

When a member of the liberal media notices that Acosta is acting like a member of the resistance, and is brave enough to say it in public, you know that Acosta's statements and actions are out of line.

Hey, Jonathan, you're all part of the resistance--everyone of you from the alphabet networks. Your'e just jealous he gets more airtime and within social distance guidelines of PDT. But to be honest, I'd love to sit in on one of those press briefings. Acosta is a fool, Karl is a fool. All of these self-aggrandizing journalists hope to be the one to bring PDT down. So tired of these puffed-up talking heads telling us what to do and believe. Bird-brains of a feather... MAGA!!! KAG!!! TRUMP 2020 AND BEYOND!!! May these fools end up eating their words...ALL of them!

Ah, but didn't some woman from PBS say they're all working together? That Acosta is not alone, he, and the rest of the MSM, are coordinating their questions and attacks on this president. Isn't that what she was saying just a couple days ago? I would not doubt they are being fed by the likes of The Democracy Integrity Project founders, who were pushing the Russian Collusion stories just to keep it going.

Dear Diary, Why is Jonathan saying such mean things about me? Didn't he read the "talking points" Jeff Zucker gave to all his ace reporters? I believe I'm following his instructions, but I'll check, just in case, even tho I'm never ever wrong. Then, I'll stand in front of the mirror, and practice my look of gravitas. I don't know why so many right-wing ideologues say I Iook constipated. That's mean, too. I guess the right and left just don't appreciate me. Love, Abilio James

FTA: . . . Jim Acosta . . ."playing into the explicit Trump strategy of portraying the press as the opposition party". Jim Acosta exemplifies the accuracies in PDJT’s comments about the antagonism and opposition of the press toward him. He is personification of an explicit press strategy to destroy this presidency - the face of their exposure.

This is form over substance. Substance: Acosta, and most all of the MSM, are indeed, "the Resistance." Form: admonishing Acosta for "acting" like what he is, is to encourage reporters to be deceitful. Better to simply encourage reporters to use good manners and to respect the office of POTUS, whoever holds that office. And playing "Gotcha" 24/7 is growing tedious.

U.S. Attorney John Durham’s review of the Russia investigation is putting increased scrutiny on former CIA Director John Brennan, searching for any undue influence he may have had during 2017’s intelligence community assessment of Russian interference. Durham, selected by Attorney General William Barr last year to lead this inquiry, drove to Washington, D.C., in March to ensure the investigation stayed on track during the coronavirus outbreak. The top Connecticut federal prosecutor is looking into highly sensitive issues, including whether Brennan took politicized actions to pressure the rest of the intelligence community to match his conclusions about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s motivations, according to sources cited by the Wall Street Journal.

The decision of American Navy to relieve the captain who warned publicly of coronavirus on his nuclear-powered aircraft carrier strikes us as the right move. The minute we read the captain’s letter about the crisis on United States Ship Theodore Roosevelt, though, we saw it as a breach on a matter that should have been kept within the chain of command. That’s easy to say, we understand, for a newspaper whose landlubber of an editor can’t go to Jones Beach without getting seasick. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) certainly has a way of rewriting history. Pelosi appeared on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell today with Mitchell about a Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) that impeachment may have slowed down the federal response to the Wuhan coronavirus. It’s a good question because Democrats have prioritized their quest to get the president any way they can since he was elected and they have never counted the cost of that effort. While Trump responded immediately in January, Democrats were completely focused on their continuing narrative against Trump. The virus to them was just another avenue to try to attack Trump,
