How a Police State is Born

Original Article

The United States and much of the western world, by utilizing the most draconian of tactics, is plunging many nations into potential economic and societal chaos as they attempt to stem the tide of the Chinese Coronavirus (snip) The nation is choosing to plunge millions of people into depression, heart attacks, suicide and unbelievable distress, though they are not especially vulnerable and will only suffer mild symptoms or none at all. This is what a police state is like. It is a nation in which the government can issue orders and edicts or convey preferences with no legal authority.

I truly believe that this over reaction is fueled by the democrats desire to destroy the Trump presidency! They really don’t care if the country is plunged into a Great Depression! Moreover, the police state described in this article is necessary to complete their social engineering and leftist agenda! The suspension and eventually the elimination of the constitution is an objective of communist left! Friends and neighbors, the republic is in dire straits and President Trump is probably the only person standing in the way of the implementation of a communist police state!

The Deep State is creating the Sheep State. The Enemedia at first: yay! Crisis! Sell papers! Clicks! Lots of viewers! Then somebody realized maybe if we jack this up enough and hey look, the market is tanking, we can bring down Bad Orange Man. Wrecked economy? Meh, collateral damage or part of the strategy. Now, that somebody is building a scared populous willing to rat on their neighbors for going outside. Can Trump stop it? He hasn't yet and we don't have all summer.

I'm 69 and taking reasonable precautions. I'm not scared a bit. There have been 14 cases in my county and no deaths. I want to go to church again, I want to go to a baseball game, I want to walk on a trail in my local park. I want to go back to work. I'm sick to death of the phrase social distancing even though I do it. But most of all, I am so sick of the media - I hated them before and now I loathe them.

There's a video going viral of a man walking alone on a street and taken down by police in Italy. It's not pretty that's what a police state is. He could have died from his injuries from police so why worry about a virus, right? The communist are knocking at our doors and this is part of the hoax/virus. The governess of our state is shutting down all gun shops and going to use state police to enforce it. This is a step she's been wanting to take along with gun confiscation next. Blame everything on the virus but I'll blame the left and the media.

The best thing that can come of this is the fallacy of taking extreme actions based on extrapolations from computer models. Global Climateers have been trying this for some time. Fortunately, they've been unable to tie computer predictions to any measurable consequences. In this epidemic, we have an example of computer models that can be validated by real results, but are based on unverifiable premises. If we don't know the probability of transmission and the actual infection rate, we cannot accurately predict the results! Hopefully the public will become more skeptical of public policy as a result of this computer models and that will harden their skepticism of global warming, as well as other hysteria-generating events in the future.

Here’s what continues to give me hope that all of this will end and we’ll get our country back to normal - we still have our guns. And we have a president who insists that the gun stores stay open. And we have a president who will order the military to protect us if necessary. And we have a military who loves this president and will obey his orders.

I am mostly amazed by how passive people are about arrests and fines based on nothing more than a governor's--or mayor's--edict. What law gives a governor the right to break up gatherings of X number or people or shut down funeral services or arrest a pastor for holding a church service? All of these things may be good for the purpose of containing the virus but the authority has to come from law. Have any of them sought authority from their legislatures? Or have they cited any law that gives them this sweeping authority? Do civil liberties and democracy go out the window in a crisis? Apparently.

The writer is also guilty of stoking the fear. We have little dictators in various liberal spots but their threats are, for the most part, meaningless. Shut down a church forever? Come on. There will be some arrests and some fines awarded but most will be thrown out in court. Most people here in flyover country are doing what we think is proper under the circumstances without any government mandates. Closing restaurants for dining in makes perfect sense but the government needs to speed up the subsidies to keep them from closing for good. We need to do our part and use their take out and delivery service at the same rate we used to dine in. Some of the more idiotic orders have been ignored or retracted, like the closure of Interstate highway rest areas. Power-hungry little Napoleon-wannabes are outing themselves and will pay dearly in upcoming elections. The main thing to keep your eye on is challenges against the 2nd Amendment. None have been successful and none will be. If you have not purchased firearms before now it is your own fault but the rest of us will cover you in time of need. That's the American way. I can't see my nearest neighbors from my house but we keep an eye on each other daily.

These mitigation efforts are crazy. They keep talking about the modeling and the inputs. To get to 100,000 - 240,000 deaths, you would have to have a HUGE spike in deaths per day. Let's just look at it over a 30 day period...to get to 100,000 deaths, you'd have to have 3,333 die DAILY and to get to 240K, you'd have to have 8,000 die daily. Now, spread that out...if you spread it out, you don't have hospitals that are overwhelmed, you also have new treatments coming out and now testing that takes less than 10 minutes. This has GOT to end by the end of April. The numbers are not going to bear this out through April and people are going to demand that end this madness.

Trump was intending for a tax reduction in his second term. With the Care Act, Trump has returned most of the $2.2T to businesses and the people, effectively a tax cut, which is why I think he may have gone along with it. The Governors chimed in with police state tactics, and I hope they are held accountable at the ballot box for it. I also hope Pelosi and the Democrats are held accountable for the pork added to the Care Act, and thrown out of office. Don't assume voters are sheep, and will accept this assumption of power by these boobs, as a reckoning is coming in November 2020, when the left should be removed from office. The media also deserves a confrontation, and so do the owners like AT&T, Comcast, and others. My hope is that the liability suits filed by Nunes and others are successful, and the media, and their corporate sponsors, have to pay huge settlements.

Let's stop with the Democrats this, communists that...it's politicians of all political stripes that are usurping rights left and right. I understand there are people being pulled over for health checks crossing into Florida, for example. What Communist governor ordered that? If you are entering Texas from Louisiana you are "required" to self-quarantine. Again, what Communist governor ordered that? #1 is on the right track...except it's the UNIPARTY that is again willing to blow up the nation to regain its power. They're not Commies - they're pure profiteers bought and paid for by special interests for their own profiteering. Trillions are at stake in this latest "crisis" and there is no one letting that go to waste. And what's saddest is the American public showing what sheep they are, thrilled to be getting a government cheese check. The tough guys talk about guns and freedom...the vast majority think otherwise. It amazes me that government provides reason after reason not to be trusted for anything...yet, HERE is where the government experts have taken us. It's all "settled science" and it will be re-settled tomorrow as necessary.

If you want to stop the kind of dirty tricks politics that the liberal and leftist Democrats have been using, just never under any condition vote for a Democrat. One of the worse political tactics that the Democrats have used is to vote to send the US military into battle, and then when the going gets tough to abandon them when they are still on the battlefield, the Democrats did that during the Vietnam War and then again in Iraq. That has been my political rule of thumb since I was lucky enough to return from Vietnam in January 1969, in one piece, after spending more than a year in country. Anytime I come in contact with a Democrat politician I just flat tell him or her that he or she is wasting their time with me, because I will never vote for a Democrat period.

#16 has hit on the crux of the issue. So far, the highest single day death toll was yesterday - March 31 (895). The death total went up by 75% from March 30 (511 to 895). Even if that rate of increase continues, I don't see how we can get to even 100,000 deaths by April 30 (and at one time I believe Fauci said we could see up to 200,000 deaths by April 30). As #16 states, the daily death toll would have to be 7-8,000 to do that, and it is hard to see from the data (plus the experiences in other countries) that we could get there in 30 days. In essence, it requires the coronavirus "season" to be extended probably into July to get to those numbers. Maybe this virus can do that, but experience says that warm/not weather will dampen its transmission and kill it out. The next two weeks should be very revealing.

Why wasn't China held accountable for this release? This is more than bumbling Communist stupidity, this could be considered an act of war. How will the world react next time when China releases something far deadlier and using their New Silk Road (read: Hammer & Sickle) initiative can spread it far and wide? If Richard Nixon had never opened the "Bamboo Curtain" we wouldn't have this problem.

If Trump doesn't override those 'experts' in a couple weeks after seeing with his own eyes that the doomsday is not happening, this could legitimately be all put on his scorecard. He says that 'people cannot be replaced' yet his own experts he follows are causing death by the lists in the article, simply because the media has convinced them that they are doomed by losing their job. How are you going to fix that Mr. President? because when folks figure it out, the media will start using those numbers to beat him down with, after the virus cudgel no longer works. Medical experts should never be trusted, not when their so-called models destroy an economy, and people's lives for real.

I agree this overblown reaction to The Virus is the illegitimate child of the Uniparty and Deep Staters. A last ditch effort to "Get Trump!" It was their Katrina Moment to discredit a supposedly "conservative" presidency. It worked with "W" because his middle initial stood for "Wuss" and he was really just another Uniparty apparatchik that was in on the scam; a way to erode our freedoms with our consent. The Patriot Act did more to harm our freedoms and way of life than The Virus and the Uniparty governors are imposing. Its been happening for 20 years. TSA anyone? The big difference this go-around is President Donald J. Trump. He saw the trap and our VSG is using this crisis, the Uniparty's favorite tactic, against them to implement the MAGA agenda under their very eyes and noses. He is harnessing private industry, cutting red tape and throwing regulations aside. He is holding federal bureaucracies accountable for results. He is refusing to "nationalize" and allowing the individual states, through their governors, to address the crisis as they see fit for their people. Federalism in action. If people don't like the actions of their governor or state legislatures they can make their voices heard in November. This is our Battle of the Bulge, facing a depleted and corrupt regime mounting a final big push that is suicidal in nature. I'm not minimizing the danger our Republic now faces. I am instead confident that Goodness is finally engaging Evil and will prevail. God is at work in the world...and Donald J. Trump is His builder.

And what do all these cities and states have in common? A coordinated effort by liberal politicians to deliberately crashed the economy.

The government is using the virus as smoke and mirrors to take over the economy while we sleep and forced to stay home. They just took equity shares in airlines. Why? They just took over the financial industry and no body even notices. They are spending money like drunken Marxists on spring break. They set it up to borrow money at zero interest. How nice. Note they can refinance all $25 trillion in debt that has interest on it. Zero interest means people will lose jobs. Banks will reap huge profits on loan points. Meanwhile the rest of the country is unemployed defaulting on credit cards and mortgages and going out of their minds.

Conservatives are happily gloating over the fact that Andrew Cuomo is at, or rapidly approaching, his nadir. (snip) Cuomo's pandering has always been coarse, heavy-handed, and insincere. Though he is hardly a closet conservative, and probably genuinely supports these policies, it has always been obvious that Cuomo manipulated leftist identity groups so that they would have no alternative but to vote for him and make him governor-for-life. (Indeed, until only a few weeks ago, Cuomo seemed to be a shoo-in for a fourth term). Eventually, though, it became clear that the leftist identity-politics groups were getting tired of getting the pimp hand from Cuomo

Meghan Markle, it seems, isn't much of a scholar. While much of the focus has been on her barbs accusing the British royal family of abnormal interest in her baby's skin color and denying him a title and personal security protection supposedly because he is black and they are racists, what's striking to me is how unprepared she was for the royal role she sought when she married Prince Harry. And not just ignorant, but willfully ignorant, proud of her ignorance, flippantly stating she never did "any research," as if that's something to be proud of.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

The relentless campaign to demonize supporters of President Trump entered the realm of self-parody this past week, with warnings that the US Capitol and democracy itself were in danger on March 4 because QAnon saw that date as the real inauguration day. It was all balderdash, a PsyOp aimed at delegitimizing support for Trump or questioning the integrity of the presidential election. Even the Washington Post admitted there was nothing to it, calling the reports a “mirage.” (snip) Al Green, a Democrat from the Houston area, [undertook] a stunt of surpassing stupidity that was taken with deadpan seriousness by much of the media.

Though the populist tide seems to have ebbed, it will rise again, and soon. The problem that ignited populist sentiment in the first place, whether on the left or the right, remains: the country’s economic and financial system has failed much of the population and is rigged to the benefit of a government-business elite. Resistance to this inequity elevated Trump and pulled the Democratic Party to the left and will continue to roil American politics until things change. The economy’s “rigging” has developed gradually over time and often from the best of intentions.

No, conference goers didn't gather to spread conspiracy theories. No, they didn't bow down to a golden statue of Trump. And no, the stage wasn't designed to pay homage to Nazi symbology. Fascism, a form of big government, is hated among conservatives. Outsiders in the mainstream media really piled on the hate. "There will be no policy debates," claimed an MSNBC opinion columnist. That's false. The truth, it seems, was of no value in reporting on this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Among speeches from high-profile Republicans were dozens of panels and debates on a broad spectrum of policy issues — which was the purpose of the gathering.

Less than a year ago, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was a darling of the left over his “leadership” in managing the COVID pandemic in his state. (snip) In politics there are no coincidences. Cuomo has been a boorish pig for decades and has been NY governor since 2011. His behavior is nothing new, simply ignored as Biden’s similar MeToo activities were (and are to this day). (snip) Exposing the nursing home death march could reveal much behind the entire COVID-con. A virus from China, a country Trump beat like a drum on trade deals, appears when Trump’s economy is breaking records.

On Wednesday, New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a teary apology during which he said that he didn’t do anything he was alleged to have done but, if he did in fact do those things, he had no idea that they were bad things. On Thursday, Charlotte Bennett, a 25-year-old former health policy adviser to Gov. Cuomo, told CBS that Andrew Cuomo explicitly propositioned her during an office meeting, in addition to crude, personal questions about her sex life. Cuomo’s going to have a hard time explaining that he didn’t know he’s not supposed to proposition employees almost four decades younger than he is.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) appears to have started to shift his views on the filibuster with remarks that he made on two news shows on Sunday morning. The shift from Manchin comes after he has repeatedly stated that he would not vote to end the filibuster, despite pressure from the far-Left. During the interviews on Sunday, Manchin repeatedly claimed that he was not open to ending the filibuster because he did not want to strip the minority party of their power in the Senate, but signaled that he was open to changing it.Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Manchin if he would consider “reforming the filibuster” if “Republicans

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

Appearing on Yahoo! The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details
