Did Kathy Griffin Pretend She Had

Kathy Griffin's Trump Derangement Syndrome has manifested itself in a variety of ways over the past few years, most notably her photoshoot featuring herself holding a bloody severed head of Trump back in 2017. Well, she hasn't learned much from that experience that damaged her career. Last week, she tweeted a photo of herself in the hospital, and criticized President Trump over the availability of coronavirus tests in the United States because she wanted to be tested, but wasn't. "I was sent to the #COVID19 isolation ward room in a major hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility after showing UNBEARABLY PAINFUL symptoms. The hospital couldn’t test me for #coronavirus

These people have no shame. Thank goodness the CDC guidelines are in place so that she did not waste a Covid-19 test that someone on the front lines of this disease could use in order to get back to work or self-isolate. What a horrible, miserable little troll she is.

I would guess this puts her firmly at the top of the "F" List. She will long for the days she was as high as the "D" List. I've got a feeling that faking having the Chinese virus for self attention will be a non-starter with even the type of folks that "follow" her.

Griffin is out there tempting fate. She lives in the heart of the epicenter. There is no guarantee that she won’t get it. Probably would be more prudent to have kept her mouth shut and stayed inside. However, when you have TDS, you never allow an opportunity go to waste. Poor thing. She is to be pitied. Shunned would also be an excellent response to her unbridled hatred. She really is pathetic.

The left will now cue the hypochondriacs. Shortness of breath but no fever? You want the hydro chloroquine treatment? What to do, what to do? I thought I was sick (personally healthy and happy, riding it out) but I guess I wasn't. That treatment I was given could now make me go blind ( substitute a malady; excessive gas, flights of fantasy, impotence.... Get the picture?) I need remuneration. Griffen is the example of never let a crisis go to waste. Our President Donald Trump has won this one... He didn't even use a teleprompter! How bout that 0bama?

This article is not going where you think it is. As most of my American Spectator readers know, don’t even try to guess where this is going. Just come along for the ride. (In a way, it is like the letter of recommendation that an army colonel once received when being considered for a promotion: “His men would follow him anywhere — but only out of curiosity!”) We all know about Roe versus Wade, that famous argument over which is the better way to get across a lake. I am baffled by the continuation of air travel between New York City and the rest of the country. At the moment, the greater New York area is at the center of the coronavirus crisis in the United States, and yet Kayak confirms that, even today, anyone from the city and its environs can get on a plane and travel almost anywhere within the United States. Why? As I write, direct flights from Newark to Miami are going for $19 on Frontier and $29 on American Airlines. Given the seriousness of the pandemic — and the number of businesses that have been shuttered as a precaution —

Someone ought to tell Speaker Nancy Pelosi about the coronavirus outbreak, because her laser focus on pushing her political agenda suggests she’s unaware of it. The latest evidence: She wants to “retroactively” roll back Congress’ 2017 cap on tax deductions for state and local taxes (SALT), The New York Times reports. She claims lifting the cap would address the economic fallout of COVID-19. She wants her “fix” to be part of Congress’ next rescue plan. But her idea has nothing to do with boosting the economy and everything to do with helping Dems in blue states, like California, New York, New Jersey and Illinois. Any White House reporter who insists on asking the president whether something he said has alarmed people should first be asked to explain the running tally of deaths and infections that cable news keeps plastered on everyone’s screens. A Bloomberg reporter at Sunday’s press briefing asked President Trump whether he “maybe frightened some Americans” by suggesting in a tweet that New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut may need a federally mandated quarantine. At a separate press briefing two weeks ago, NBC’s Peter Alexander asked the president if his “impulse to put a positive spin on things may be giving Americans a false sense of hope and misrepresenting the preparedness right now.”

Black voters in South Carolina helped propel former Vice President Joseph R. Biden to the top of the crowded 2020 Democratic field and they continue to fuel his drive to the nomination, but whether that translates into the crucial high turnout he needs in November remains an open question. In several states with large black populations, Mr. Biden didn’t receive as much support from them as did former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primaries when she squared off against Sen. Bernard Sanders — who is also Mr. Biden’s key competitor this time around. For example, in South Carolina and Virginia, Mrs. Clinton

The New York Times, the famous “Gray Lady,” long has seen its role as a standard-bearer for modern liberalism. Of course, the paper still employs competent, and sometimes brilliant, reporters and editors. The news operation, however, is as opinionated as the editorial page, only less honest about its bias. Editorials have gone from advocacy to crusading. The Left’s agenda is the paper’s agenda. Those who disagree on issues are treated as wrong on morality as well as policy. So it is with abortion. On Sunday, March 29, the Times devoted almost half the page to an editorial demanding unrestricted abortion at public expense. That position has become the litmus test
