The Duke and Duchess will step down as senior members of the Royal Family at the end of this month and have now set up a permanent home in Los Angeles. The pair flew to California by private jet just before Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shut the border. But Meghan and Harry now face the prospect of being forced to give up their nobility if they are to be settled in the US full-time. The Oath of Allegiance act must be taken by any new US citizen under the Naturalisation Law.

Did Meghan say she'll never live again in the US while Trump was president?

So, when he has to get new business cards, do the UK taxpayers foot the bill, or does he pay for 'em himself?

Another well known greenie weenie takes a private jet, while telling we less royal plain folk, to ride bikes and watch our carbon footprint. If it weren't for posted articles on Lucianne, I wouldn't know if these two people were even alive.

Harry Markle is in for a 'surprise' when he finds that the USA doesn't have 'Royalty' in its history except in casting couch Hollywood. IT may be time for him to declare his bisexual preferences.

I thought that this was decided a month ago or more that he would no longer have his title?
And so?

#10, you should be on stage in a New Yawk beatniks' club. Everybody snap fingers for the "Prose" poetry.
If you can make it rhyme I'll give you Shakespeare points. Well done.

This means The Queen will have to remove Harry from the line of succession.
So the Brits can be happy about that:)

Will the UK continue to cough up millions to support this couple? And will the US spend millions for their security?

Meghan is a US citizen, and as such has the right to file an immediate relative petition with the federal immigration authorities to classify Harry as her immediate relative spouse. There is no way that there could be any legitimate insinuation of any fraud involved with the petition since Harry and Meghan live together and have a child born to them. So Meghan’s petition will be approved.
The next step to a legal immigration status for Harry should to be taken by Harry himself. He must file an application for permanent residence in the USA with the federal immigration authorities basing his eligibility on Meghan’s approved immediate relative petition. Since there is no indication that Harry is excludable from the USA for any reason, Harry’s application will be approved. Harry will then be granted the status of a lawful permanent resident in the USA and will be issued a so-called “Green Card” that evidences Harry’s right to live and work in the USA indefinitely.
There is no requirement in the US immigration and nationality laws that requires Harry to ever apply for US citizenship. So Harry if he wishes can simply keep his foreign citizenship.

Nobility---the word as it is used here means a title to nobility, not the actual definition of nobility.
You cannot give up something you never had. Meagan never had eal nobility and Harry is fast losing his.

I doubt it. HM uncle didn't give up his title or royal status just because he abdicated. What we are seeing is royals who are down the succession ladder are now going out and trying to make a life for themselves, with jobs and everything. People can't have it both ways. Don't be hating on the royals that go out and try to make employment for themselves. Rumor has it that if Charles outlives his mum and becomes King, he is going to chop that List down to size. Lots of the royals will be removed from that List and the resulting chaos should be most entertaining.

All the blood lost in carving ourselves away from Mad King George, yet we would consider giving aid and comfort to one of his runaways. Mind boggling.

The fittingest title for him is "Mr. Markle."
What in the world was he thinking when he took up with her?

There was a post on Facebook about H&M have to ask PDT for SS protection. Ahhh, a side chapter in the H&M saga. H&M need to adjust their financial priorities to pay for it themselves.
The US Treasury is not their piggy bank.

I don't think anyone needs to worry about Harry losing his Title. He can be in the US for three years before he will have to renounce his Royalty. I'm going to say, here and now, that he and Dear Meghan won't be married by then. He will see her for the Witch she is. Sadly, she will have a large portion of his Wealth by then and will probably fight him for custody of Archie.

He can't even use the title "Duke" around Hollywood, because that moniker belongs to John Wayne.

President Trump tweeted about five minutes ago that evidently the Markles have moved to California and while he admires the Queen, the USA will not be paying for Markles security.

Yes #30 and as it was never an option for us to pay, Trump probably wonders what all the silly gossip is all about. Presidents sometimes have to weigh in on silly Royal stuff sometimes.

He can be a resident alien. I doubt he'd ever be a US citizen since you cannot have alliegence to another ruler. That's an irony.
I hope she asks the US Sectet Service for protection. They'll be laughed at for sure

I doubt if the marriage will last long enough for this to be possible.

This article assumes that Harry will eventually become a U.S. citizen. I doubt the marriage will last long enough for that to happen. I see a train wreck when these two discover how unpopular they are.
