Dr. Deborah Birx on Thursday provided encouraging coronavirus numbers suggesting that some of the predictive models were incorrect.“There’s no model right now, no reality on the ground, where we can see that 60-70 percent of Americans are going to get infected in the next 10-12 weeks,” she said. Without specifically naming the Imperial College, Brix referred to models that predicted there could be 500,000 coronavirus deaths in the United Kingdom and 2.2 million deaths in the United States. The scientist of the model revised the estimate of deaths in the United Kingdom to be roughly 20,000 people or fewer.

Fake models need to be of events in the distant future if the modeler is going to make any money. This dummy did one where it would be totally debunked in a month.
I keep wondering if the model is just pure garbage, or whether he used ChiCom reports as "data"?
Use this modelling disaster to beat up the climate crazies.

That everyone were able to make such blatant huge mistakes with no consequences. 500,000 deaths revised down to 20,000. No biggie. What?! Heads should roll.

Dr. Deborah Birx is beauty star for boomer males. Keep her on TV please. Another great choice from Trump. Calm and distinguished in a den of lions.

I've been saying this for almost a week... The date does NOT support the extreme measures that have been taken. Those governors who have been scrambling to outdo one another with ever more extreme measures and ever more time on camera (cough, cough, Cuomo, Newsom, cough, cough) should lose their jobs too.
And the media should lose those gigantic font sizes for their scare headlines. And maybe visit some hospitals other than in NYC.

#4, I DO find Dr. Birx very attractive. Intelligent, well-spoken, unafraid, great fashion sense; what's not to like? Unafraid to tell the Panic Lamestream Media they are full of it. But as noted, she is giving away the Great Game: impose GOVERNMENT crackdown on the population, and convince Congress to pass a huge bill with lots of Government Cheese on (as an example) The Kennedy Center. You notice they didn't chip any money off for Reagan National Airport, right?
Plus, with a slight re-arrangement of letters, she has the same name as that intrepid UN Nuclear Inspector Dr. Hans Brix! Will have to go back and watch "Team America: World Police" yet another time.

I can remember when models were nice to look at. Now they are only used to scare the sheeple.

I wrote to the Whitehouse that Dr. Birx is a breath of fresh air and gives everyone hope and better understanding about the virus. Where as, Dr. Fauci makes you want to jump out of a window after he talks, stocks tank, people want to take a butter knife to their wrist, etc. I asked them to limit his appearance because he sounds like Dr. Doom. I asked them to air Dr. Birx more because she gives everyone hope and understanding of what is really going on. Dr. Fauci belongs in a closet at NIH not in front of a camera.

I respectfully disagree with your opinions on Fauci, #9. I find him to be a pretty reasonable scientist, and generally trying to find a reasonable balance in this sea of incomplete, bad, contradictory and missing data. I find no real disagreement between him and Birx, yet some apparently are so angered by his previous support of Hellary that they can't get past it. And yes, I think Birx is doing a fine job, too.
