Coronavirus is killing the Biden campaign —

After a shocking turnaround in his campaign — he was nearly left for dead after his crushing defeat in New Hampshire, only to become the presumptive nominee after Super Tuesday — Joe Biden was ready to pivot to a general election campaign against President Trump. But then the coronavirus hit the United States, and the ex-veep’s campaign has struggled mightily to deal with the political fallout. Trump has dominated the news cycles over the last three weeks, and his administration has been a whirling dervish of activity. He and his team offer daily reports about N95 masks secured, ventilators procured, production capacities increased,

The campaign only had to put out some tightly focused, and essentially true criticisms of Trump. Such things are easily found in a crisis since something is always going wrong; testing delays for example. Instead they let Joe speak, obviously trying to add to his leader cred. Don't they KNOW by now he is incompetent? When his teleprompter failed he didn't just lose a bit of content, he became a content free, prattling, senile fool. He couldn't have done worse. Can you imagine him in a debate against Trump? It will be a slaughter. Trump will have to be careful not to look like he is beating up a puppy.

#7. Agree. And Dems, through media, are doing what they can to carry the ball for Joe. Check out Politico, The Atlantic, and of course NYTimes and WaPo, who decided long ago this was the "Trumpvirus" and "you know who to blame". There are serious questions on how the CDC and the FDA addressed testing, but Democrats have already reduced it to just another way to destroy the president.

There are times I absolutely want to scream and this is one of them. After Donald Trump put the travel to China ban in place, Joe Biden called him xenophobe and racist. Now, he and his media supporters are running around blaming Donald Trump for not taking it seriously. Who didn't take it seriously? They were knee-deep in their impeachment debacle and only after defeat with that, they found something else to focus on and that they did. Caused the hysteria when, in fact, we could have been level-headed from the start. That is expecting too much from the Democrats, liberals and Never Trumpers.

The most delicious irony here is that if they stand down Joe (or he falls by himself), the nomination rightfully belongs to Bernie " the Bolshie " Sanders. That would be worse than death for the 'Rat Party. If the unnecessary economic brinkmanship that is going on weren't so deadly, I would actually be enjoying myself!

FTA: So Biden and his campaign were admittedly fighting an uphill battle going up against Trump. Compounding this challenge is the need for sensitivity — it is important for Biden to criticize the president, but he can’t seem petty, small or overly political in a moment when the people crave real leadership. This would be a major challenge for a Winston Churchill or Franklin Roosevelt. For Biden, it turned out to be impossible. His public statements this week have been unfocused, error-ridden, full of awkward gaffes.

Biden's brain (what little he had) is shutting down, and it's obvious. The 'Rat 'apparatchiks' don't want Bernie as the nominee, as Bernie would bring in his Bernie-Bots and they would lose their soft, comfy well-paying positions in the organization. So, they made the 'phone calls and torpedoed Bernie just before Super Tuesday. Now they have to replace Biden. Note Carville & Co. saying "Stop the Primaries!".... BEFORE Biden has a lock on enough delegates. That opens the door to ALL KINDS of 'smoke-filled back room' shenanigans. Also note the 'Rat Media campaign of praise of Cuomo (Not Fredo..... the OTHER Cuomo). Will Cuomo emerge from a 'brokered' convention as the 'Rat nominee? Grab some Popcorn! Let's see!

As Jeff Charles reported, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti predicts that the City of Angels is less than a week away from reaching New York City levels of Wuhan coronavirus cases. Such a major increase (nearly doubling every two days) would overwhelm the city’s healthcare capacity. Garcetti said: “We will be where they are,” he told reporters on Friday. “We will have doctors making excruciating decisions. We will be trying to figure out what we do with that surge, how to get ventilators, where to find beds.” If Garcetti had access to three mobile 200-bed hospitals with ICU units and surgical suites, “50 million N95 respirators, 2,400 portable ventilators,

Given how Democrats have conducted themselves with control over just one half of one branch of government, the thought that they could retain that control, let alone gain more in November, is horrifying. Imagine the people who insisted on inserting cronyism into a bill designed to save the economy from collapse having the power to implement the entirety of their agenda. There would be no pulling up from that nosedive. That is why it’s important not only to retain the Senate and the White House but to retake the House as well.
Coronavirus may kill noxious classroom leftism 4 replies

Leftism started creeping into American colleges and universities beginning in the 1930s. In the 1960s, it blossomed into the Free Speech and Anti-War movements. By the 1990s, it had morphed into censorious political correctness. And in the 2000s, America's institutions of higher education had turned into hard-left organizations with huge administrative staffs, most of whom seemingly were dedicated to ensuring that students graduated directly into the arms of the Democrat Party. This post isn't the place for "chapter and verse" evidence of the overall leftism in academia. The old Encyclopedia Britannica probably wouldn't be long enough.

Congress passed Title IX in 1972, at a time when people had the old-fashioned idea that there were two sexes, one with XX chromosomes and the other with XY chromosomes. Fast-forward almost fifty years, and you have Connecticut government entities insisting that if a boy claims to be a girl (and there's no requirement that he actually believes this false notion), schools must allow him to compete in girls' sports events. After 9/11 there was much talk of the “death of irony,” along with calls for mandatory national service and widespread support for the idea that it was time to put away childish things. Then Rudy Giuliani went on “Saturday Night Live,” Lorne Michaels asked him, “Can we be funny?” And Giuliani said, “Why start now?” The relief-laugh that followed this impeccably delivered punchline set the stage for a return to normalcy. We could be silly again. We all went to see “Zoolander.” The coronavirus has already caused far more disruption than 9/11, and figures to take far more lives, albeit in slo-mo rather than on one fireball-strewn morning.
