Planning Three Steps Ahead:
On the Need and a Plan
to Divorce From China

Original Article

Two caveats: One, this article puts the cart well before the horse because we have not yet seen the worst of China Virus 19; yet this article focuses on the day after the crisis is declared over. After all, Trump’s critics and all “Monday Morning Quarterbacks” always complain after the fact that others did not plan earlier. Two, if President Trump is not reelected in November, this article is pointless because our future relations with China will be the least of America’s problems. With that duly noted … China Virus 19 has brought home to more Americans than ever before that we absolutely have to divorce from China.

Comments:

This is long, but worth reading. I think he is right that we will have a short window to strike back at China, to "get a divorce" from this evil, corrupt, vicious Communist country. We can't miss this opportunity when Trump and public opinion will be on our side.
He provides a lot of facts to be used in our push to get our production out of China.

I hope President Trump will restructure all our debt to the Chicom government and get us out from under their control. Spreading this virus will cost them erasing all our national debt to them.

Can you see Joseph Biden divorcing from China if elected, not a chance, as he has been saying that China is no competitor or threat to the USA. It is a lot more likely that a President Biden would appoint and send his son Hunter Biden to be the US Ambassador to be in position to participate in corrupt conspiracies.

The author writes beautifully, with the confidence of a truly well-educated and accomplished man. One thing´s for sure, Dov Fischer´s got China´s number. (So does Donald Trump!) After reading this article, you´ll understand more than ever why Trump must be be re-elected in November. We cannot afford to stay home -- our lives and our liberty depend on the leadership of Donald Trump. This crisis is that dangerous, yet full of opportunity to rebuild America. Nothing else will suffice.

We decided to make China a "most favored nation" when it comes to trade. The hope was that we'd raise up the Chinese middle class and they're overthrow their communist leaders. This has been going on since the 80s. Well, when you're dealing with godless, dog eating communists, things don't always turn out the way you were hoping.

Fischer hits it out of the park again. The money quote for me is: ''We will never have another president as strong as Trump in our lifetimes. And, for a brief moment in time, Americans — fed up with coronavirus and quarantines and lost vacations and lost income and dead grandparents and ruined Easters and Passover seders — suddenly will see the economy rebound.''

Communist China does not behave in a way that it can be trusted with its commerce, its human rights record and lack of transparency to the rest of the world. Furthermore it continues to advance its belt and road initiative which will end up in other countries losing losing freedoms for its citizens. The rest of the world has power over China and needs to begin to exercise it now.

So, as always, there is an idea with no idea of how. What will bring back manufacturers and industries thriving with cheap labor, few regulations and a cooperative government...to a land of expansive labor, regulations to the ceiling, lawsuits, and government that swings all ways depending on political need. Seems coercion is the only usable method. Tariffs or incentives/subsidies. Either way, Americans suffer if the intent is to either raise foreign prices to competitive levels or diminish high American production costs to a competitive level. So, which -ism are we happy to adapt...socialism? Communism? It sure isn't capitalism. And the "divorce solution" is more complicated than anyone wants to admit. What will the UNIPARTY decide to do?

More than 300 people have died and a further 1,000 have fallen ill in Iran after consuming methanol in the belief that it will protect them against the coronavirus, according to local media. Fake remedies have spread across Iranian social media, with methanol simply the latest supposed cure. As an Islamic nation, the consumption of alcohol is banned, but bootleggers have distributed industrial alcohol. “Other countries have only one problem, which is the new coronavirus pandemic,” said Dr. Hossein Hassanian, an adviser to Iran’s Health Ministry who claimed that the problem could be more severe than reported. “We have to both cure the people with the alcohol poisoning

As the novel coronavirus sweeps across the world, some countries are finding themselves in a difficult situation. Low on supplies or money, traditional American allies like Spain, Italy, France and Japan have had to turn to China for help. "China creates the poison and sells the solution to it," foreign affairs expert Gordon Chang told Fox News. China has used its money, medical equipment and teams of doctors and nurses in a high-stakes campaign to show the world that while the United States scrambles to contain the novel coronavirus within its borders, China is busy moving in on some of America's closest allies. These past few weeks have been far too filled with various attempts at crisis-induced power grabs by politicians, which isn't historically unusual. A pandemic is the kind of thing that calls for extraordinary measures but politicians almost (I'm being generous there) always try to get a little too extraordinary with their responses. It is almost as if they are genetically coded to try and take a mile every time a frightened public offers them an inch. This is a truly bipartisan problem. The September 11th attacks did prompt a Republican president to create the Dept. of Homeland Security after all, a fact that still makes conservatives cringe to this day.

Currently, there is no known specific medicine to treat the novel coronavirus, but researchers in Italy suggest that the COVID-19 disease is slow to mutate, based on its genetic material. This finding could aid in helping large swaths of people over an extended period of time once a specific cure is found. The study, which was produced by two independent teams in the country, used "a new next-generation sequencing (NGS) research assay" from Thermo Fisher Scientific on Italian COVID-19 patients. The experts then compared them to a sample from the original outbreak to come up with their findings.

At Thursday’s White House press briefing, President Trump and FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn announced that the FDA has approved the “compassionate use” of the antimalarial drug chloroquine to treat patients infected with Coronavirus 2019 (“COVID-19”). Under extreme or exigent circumstances, the FDA may permit physicians to medicate patients with experimental drugs. The term “compassionate use” ordinarily refers to dosing a patient with a drug that has not been approved by the FDA for any purpose. Since the 1940s, however, chloroquine has been FDA-approved and safely used to treat and prevent malaria. It has also been used to treat HIV and autoimmune disease. Its side effects are well known

The now legendary failure of the CDC to manage the task of developing an effective test for the virus is being compounded by the efforts of state and federal government bureaucrats to block Americans

It shows, for one thing, how far COVID-19 has to go before it equals the average seasonal flu mortality, worldwide. If I had to predict, I would guess that it will eventually reach the average level. Will it get to 2x the average number of flu deaths, worldwide? Looking at current trends, I don’t see how that will happen. But time will tell. Likewise in the U.S. You still can’t see the bar for COVID-19,
