Pelosi Suffers Massive Political Hit –
Abandons House Scheme – Announces
Acceptance of Senate Bill…

You can tell when Speaker Pelosi recognizes a political backlash for her manipulative schemes because it’s the only time she blitzes the media. After suffering a very large political hit, beyond the capability of the media to defend, Pelosi said today the House will take up the Senate coronavirus bill. The writing was on the wall late yesterday as people started digging into the 1,400 page House proposal and exposing all of the far-left ideological efforts within it. Billions were earmarked for nonsense progressive projects and the House scheme was fraught with social engineering that had nothing to do with assisting workers and businesses.

Republican- or Democrat-sponsored, bills in Congress should deal with the issue at hand and NOT extraneous items. If those need to be addressed, then that is fine. Use another bill. But keep these damned things clean. For example, don't slip pro-life or pro-abort bills into anything that doesn't have to do with women's health or children's welfare, etc. I say that as an ardent pro-life person.

I'm a realist. I know there is still some pork in the negotiated bill. It needs to be removed. It needs to *cost* Ms Pelosi when she oversteps. Extract the cost now, or it will never happen. Another item I would like to point out. Republicans, *this* is what happens when you cowboy up and *stand* for what your constituents need. All you have to do is have the truth and a backbone. We, the voters, are doing our best to replace those that are missing one or the other. Jim Baird (R) Indiana, stand up. You are not there on vacation. This isn't the State House that you cruised through with hive mind.. gather your forces and lead! I know you are (financially) honest, now prove that you deserve that seat!

I'm with Poster #8, make Pelosi and that back stabbing, low life Schumer lose some of the things that they wanted when it was still a bi-partisan bill. Now that America knows about the extraneous pork that was discovered and will be dumped, find the rest, expose it and then dump it. Maybe then the Rats will learn to play nice.

The Queen Bee suffers from megalomania. Having gotten her way for so long, she now thinks she's invincible and that the media will always give her cover. Now, however, she has run into The Trump, and is finding that he has a spine of titanium and will not bend to her shenanigans. She is blind to this, and her party sees that she is blowing it. I think her days are numbered. That will become more apparent after Trump is reelected. The Dem Party will have no further use for her and the bitterness of this defeat will eat her alive. It couldn't happen to a better person.

What a rapid, complete, and stunning reversal. Nasty Pelousy has been blown out of the water. Further, this isn't over. It is very clear what she tried to do and what was said by her. This is the Speaker of the House, the third in line for the presidency. This isn't a dopey AOC or Mad Max. Pelousy was willing to throw the American People under the bus to try to get absurd Leftist proposals pushed through Congress. This was extortion and it was NEVER going to happen. To even attempt it was insane. People worry about Uncle Joe being unbalanced. This shows that Nasty may be in even worse mental condition. China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), sometimes referred to as the New Silk Road, is one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects ever conceived. Launched in 2013 by President Xi Jinping, the vast collection of development and investment initiatives would stretch from East Asia to Europe, significantly expanding China’s economic and political influence, Some analysts see the project as an unsettling extension of China’s rising power, and as the costs of many of the projects have skyrocketed, opposition has grown in some countries. Meanwhile, the United States shares the concern of some in Asia that the BRI could be a Trojan horse for China-led regional development and military expansion.
