Here are some people who are useless, especially now: Performance artists, diversity consultants, magic crystal healers, sociology TAs, members of the mainstream media, and gender-unspecified entities who brew kale kombucha. Here are some people who matter, especially now: Soldiers, nurses, truckers, cops, the guy who stocks the shelves at Ralphs, farmers, and that dude rebuilding your roof. The Chinese Bat Soup Flu has certainly clarified some of the blurred lines between what is important and what is frivolous garbage.

Amen, Kurt! Speaking as a newly retired RN, it is refreshing to see that my profession is being recognized not as “less than a doctor” but professionals that are the reason that hospitals exist in the first place. It is tragic to see my nieces waste their precious intelligence on womens’ studies at a college where “woman” is spelled womyn. Just like 9/11, it takes a tragedy to realize what is of value.

FTA: “Our elite is full of self-important morons who contribute nothing but more dumb in a time when the only thing we have a surplus of is dumb.” This article is a wonderful glimpse into the uselessness of the people in the country who believe they are all that and a bag of chips. They are so ignorant that they don’t have the self-awareness to know they are reviled by the people who actually make this country work. They may have the ability to entertain us but they do not have a clue how really unimportant their thoughts are to us. Their sanctimonious recording of the song, Imagine, is laughable. And their high priestess of political lust, HRC, nips at the heels of the President not knowing she is a joke to the majority of Americans. The left is a pathetic, Anti-American, virtue signaling worthless bunch of group thinking fools. God bless every American that makes this country work especially those on the front lines right now. Clearly, the country cannot make it without you and we are so grateful for everything you do. You have risen to the occasion like the patriots you are. We appreciate you and all you do and sacrifice on behalf of the country. When we get through this and we will, we will know who saved our bacon. It wasn’t a spit shined politician, someone who pretends for a living, or some Superstar athlete, it will be the regular guy and gal who goes to work everyday doing what they do best. God bless you all!

Not only that but the useless ones KNOW this is happening and it is killing them. Madcow bewails that Trump is being presidential every night and DEMANDS that the media should stop covering him because it is going to guarantee his reelection. Of course SHE says it is because he is lying but the truth is transparent. The dems have been completely sidelined and their two remaining necrotizing candidates are expiring from a lack of oxygen. Nasty Pelousy has just stopped an assistance bill that most Americans are cheering for. She is playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun. Dem governors and some media are being forced to admit that Trump is doing a good job. That must be like eating a poop sandwich for them. The best thing is, for the most part, this is not an active campaign to minimize the Left. It is an organic process that is exposing the truth of their worthlessness and pettiness. As such, the Left's usual defense, demonizing their opponents, is also useless. Who could they attack? The denser ones, like Madcow and Pelousy, are desperately trying and it is making them look even worse. For the dems, already in bad shape, this is a no win scenario. The most vulnerable to the Chinese virus may turn out to be the Left and for them there is no cure.

Sorry for the 2nd post, but one of my biggest gripes is the 'non-essential' personnel that are always sent home from public jobs whenever there's an emergency, and then when they come back to their 'non-essential' jobs when the emergency ends, receive back pay. The only essential jobs are the ones that keep this country running, and that's definitely not actors, sports figures, media pundits and politicians.

#18 - I think our China virus national emergency will affect our country in the way we all expected 9-11 would and did not. That bright September morning was a gut punch for every American, shaking our souls. However, the physical hit was only felt in New York, D.C. and a scarred field in Pennsylvania. Only one city bore the brunt of the aftermath; the slow dismantling of the pile, the glacier pace recovering body parts and the rebuilding. Americans across the country stormed heaven with our prayers, flew flags from our pick-ups and wore memorial buttons on our coats. We wept together, but only the Northeast did the hard labor. We had emotional equity; they had the sweat equity. The Great Hunkering is being experienced by every American. We all have sweat equity this time, and it is the first since Pearl Harbor. We've been through this before and we are uniting in the same way because of the steadfast leadership of President Trump. He has harnessed the power and ingenuity of the American private sector, he has focused support on our vital supply chains and making sure every American have their daily needs met, as well as immediate financial security and long-term confidence. The "progressive" spell over America has been broken. When we come out on the other side we will be a different America, MAGA:KAG America.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
