Democrats blocked a coronavirus package on Sunday that would provide economic relief to businesses and Americans suffering from the impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
The Senate GOP package failed, with 47 votes in favor and 47 against, which fell 13 votes short of what was necessary to advance the legislation. An angry Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) slammed Democrats for voting against the bill and blamed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for nixing bipartisan negotiations over a coronavirus package.“I want everybody to fully understand if we aren’t able to act tomorrow,
SHE should be aborted!

Unreal. Way too much giveaway money already and they have to pack it with more.

Nancy Pelosi made at least one attempt trying to “secure a funding stream of up to $1 billion for reimbursing laboratory claims.” According to a news report dated March 13, 2020, “that provision would establish a precedent under which health claims for all procedures, including abortion, could be reimbursed with federal funds. That precedent would render the Hyde Amendment, which blocks taxpayer funding for abortion clinics, obsolete.” Nancy Pelosi appears to be “trying to ensure federal funding for abortion as part of the coronavirus economic stimulus plan.”

Piglousi doesn't give a hoot about citizens. She only cares about stuffing every bill with pork for her leech followers for their vote. Whatever did federal funding for abortion (pork) have to do with the coronavirus and she's still at it. I hope that witch gets the virus.

I wonder if he could executive order this bill. Pelosi is one of the most disgusting creatures in history. She lost any sense of reality years ago. It's all about her, what she wants and power. I've said for years we need time limits for both congress and the senate. Things like Pelosi and McCain wouldn't happen anymore.

Pelosi and the Democrats don't want to help normal Americans who are suffering. If anything, they want the situation to get even worse, with people rioting in the streets. They believe their moment is finally at hand... Revolution.
Boy are they going to get it. Just not the way they wanted.

There were ony 47 votes for the bill, but there are 53 GOP Senators. Who are the 6 that didn't vote and why? Is this vote why Romney, Rand Paul and other GOP members are in Kung Flu quarentine?

Sen. McConnell and Republicans, please do not pack this bill with pork and do not allow old Nan to put anything in there to support tax payer funded abortions. How about stepping up and writing a clean bill without the usual garbage thrown in to support whatever the lobbyists are willing to pay for. Act like adults. This is no time to produce a thousand page bill filled with pork and special interest favors that no one has read. Pelosi believes this is a win win situation for her. She can hold it up until she gets what she wants and will blame the President for the delay. Do not let her get away with this. Good grief she’s an 80+ year old grandmother who can’t manage to utter a coherent sentence most of the time. Stand up to her and let the American people know what she is trying to do. We cannot allow this woman to continue to drive legislation that is harmful and destructive. There comes a time to get tough and that time is now.

47 + 47 = 94. So who did not vote? I thought we had 53 pubbies. Self-quarantined Senators could have voted remotely or by proxy. And, Chuckie, since you haven't been expelled from the Senate yet for threatening the SCOTUS Justices, why didn't at least 6 of your fellow dimwits support the measure to get to the 60 votes needed for passage?

Never let a crisis go to waste. The GOP (and America) wants to rush the bill, so by halting the process, Nan sees herself as now in charge. Let's see how this move plays out for her and her comrades.

Just like she sat on the last bill so that demonrats could campaign on PDT not doing enough right before Super Tuesday.
Pelosi is the epitome of evil and going to confession a million times is not going to save her soul. Though given her attitude, I doubt that she’s been to confession in decades.

This is the dems big chance to get rid of Trump, even if it means crashing the economy and hurting millions of people.

What everyone will soon realize: The dems and the uniparty vote for things that give them kickbacks. They don't care about the workers or the deplorables, unless the union is putting money in their secret account. They don't care about foreign aid to other countries, unless they are funneling cash back to them. They don't really care about abortion, but "planned non-parenthood" is a cash cow for them.

If aid must be given it should be in the form of food stamps with all applicable rules.
If democrats understand what Nancy just did, they are not only going to lose the November election but their "party" is in danger of becoming extinct.

Apparently six Senators are in quarantine. It is long pass time for the Senate to have viewing and voting remote access for it members. This is beyond stupid.
Apparently Son of Porkulus wasn't big enough.
People are suffering and these crooks play politics. Said it before and saying it again, they don't govern.

Assumption: If you are a Bernie Bro, we can buy you back to Dem Plantation with Student Load forgiveness
Fact: Bill addresses student loans, no interest being charged and if you qualify for Govt Check, you can apply it towards your school load (aka foregiveness)

Once again, as in so many past dilemmas, the democrats show that their only concern is to increase their power over the country at ANY cost. I am moved to ask what purpose would it serve to give thousands to the furloughed workers and leave them, after the crisis is finally vanquished, jobless because their employers are no longer in business. It reminds me of the old tale of the goose that laid the golden egg.

Know what I would love to see? The freezing of assets of all members of congress until this is resolved. They are interfering in a national crisis, and in some cases willfully making it worse. Freeze their assets. Most of their assets are due to lobbyists and graft anyway, I doubt much is legit. Then stand back and let them scream.

Anyone else notice that the bum, panhandling and homeless problem has DRIED UP since no one is out and about? I just saw a shor of NYC. Looks nice and clean and bum free. Lots of them are truly mentally ill and in need of our help and compassion. Many are looking for $$$ for their next drink or drug fix. The proof is in the pudding. No cash and the problem is taking care of itself.

I live in the People's Republic of Massachusetts. The land of socialist dimocrats. Usually I let things go but this made me actually email the blackhole that I assume is my Congressional rep's office. I asked 2 simple questions.
1. Do you believe all Americans inside and outside the government should be working together regardless of party to deal with the crisis we are in?
2. Do you support the seemingly cheap gamesmanship of Nancy Pelosi who seems to care more about amassing power, focusing on issues unrelated to the immediate crisis and filling bills with pork than she does about coming together in good faith to weather the more immediate issues related to this pandemic and to work protect the physical and financial health of Americans?
I concluded by saying "If you are for and with Pelosi and not America I will seriously rethink ever voting for you again and will work to tell everyone I know to think about doing the same."
I think everyone in a dimocrat district should do something similar. I doubt they care or will bother to respond but I'm done not speaking out. This has got to STOP!

The Democrats are nothing more than backstabbers to the average worker, the minimum wage workers, the small business owners. Next time they talk about lifting the minimum wage, I want to see the Republicans throw this back at them.
Nancy Pelosi has a birthday this week. She'll be 80 years old. Time to put her out to pasture with a few other Dems. She lives in the lap of luxury and accepts being paid with our tax dollars. How does she look at herself in the mirror.
