He’s the new Luv Guv. Women are crushing on Gov. Andrew Cuomo—calling his coronavirus press briefings their daily “fix”—during this state of emergency. Denise Albert, a 45-year-old divorcée on the Upper West Side, is officially smitten. “For me, it was when I heard him say, ‘My mother is light and joy,’” said Albert, co-founder of multimedia company The Moms.(Snip) Talia Reese, a married mom of two in Great Neck, Long Island, thinks Cuomo sounds like Al Pacino. The comic said she and her friends text one another when he’s on TV, with one declaring, “Cuomo press conference right now. Morning fix.”

Comments:

The Dems have this crook poised to be the next big thing. And they're using the same marketing strategy they did with women swooning over Gay Barry, Slick Willie, and even Al Gore with the sock stuffed down the front of his pants on the cover of Rolling Stone, not to mention how cute JFK looked against Richard Nixon. Never underestimate the stupidity of people in the voting booth.

Some Dem operatives may be preparing to try to shoehorn Gov. Goombah (D-Infanticide) into the nomination. But at this stage I don't think it could possibly work. Biden is rolling up Sanders and will have the requisite number of delegates within a few weeks. How could they possibly dump him, if he (and Jill) refuse to go peaceably, which they undoubtedly will?

I think the real powers-that-be behind the Dem machine will make certain Biden does NOT get enough delegates to sew up a nomination. And someone had to be their "god-in-the-machine" who they could pretend to be surprised at when he takes the nomination. Cuomo over Hillary or Michelle.

Sen. Chuck Schumer is calling for up to $25,000 in “heroes” pay for front-line health care and service industry workers as Congress pushes ahead with a new coronavirus crisis rescue package. “This is a heroes’ fund and they deserve it,” the New York Democrat said Tuesday. The Senate minority leader declared the emerging proposal the “highest priority” for Democrats as congressional leaders and President Trump call for more aid for Americans. Nurses, truck drivers, grocery store clerks and others are “risking their lives” to care for Americans amid the COVID-19 pandemic and economic shutdown, he said.

The Small Business Administration acknowledged to banks Monday in an email obtained by The Washington Times that there are frustrating flaws in its system for handling loan applications for distressed small businesses, even as the White House and lawmakers considered a second round of massive aid for companies. “We know that your efforts have been frustrated with system issues, policy questions and slower than usual responses,” stated an email from SBA regional offices to lenders. Among the problems: the SBA’s electronic system for processing loan applications, called E-Tran, wasn’t coordinated with the $350 billion Paycheck Protection Program that the administration rolled out Friday.
