So true.

Maybe enough embarrassment will get these idiots to straighten up and to their jobs. Probably a vain hope.

Loved the response. Wish he had gone further and asked “Who do you think we are talking to during these briefings? We are not just talking to you self-important reporters. We are speaking to those who are afraid and unfortunately must depend on you to get the correct information out to those very people. So do your job and report what we have just said to those who might be afraid”.

Regardless what this hack thinks of POTUS, he is POTUS and at a minimum deserves respect. President Trump peeled him like a rotting grape. It was a joy to watch. And then the incompetent compatriots led by a cheap trick with black hair jumped in to try to save Peter the dimwit. What a fiasco and what a chance to see the incompetents on display. And to think this bunch of anti Americans deserve respect...not a chance at any level whatsoever. I have cancelled every magazine subscription long ago, two newspapers, and only occasionally listen to FOX who is dropping into the toilet faster than greased lightning.

I heard this news conference and was literally screaming at the radio. These reporters were despicable, digging, digging, digging for anything they could use to create doubt and despair in the public. It was beyond disgusting. POTUS was trying to present information in a positive light, and this jackass accused him of giving the “American people false hope.” And, even after he called them on it, they would. not. stop. It was beyond disgusting, and further cemented their identity as the enemy of the people.

Z-Pacs have never worked for me when I have a bacterial infection, and antibiotics aren't supposed to work against viruses at all. Even if the virus weakens the lungs to the point where a bacterial infection takes hold, Z-Pacs would be the last thing I'd want.

There's no doubt that this asshat was fear mongering. They'll do anything and everything to try to make POTUS look bad or put him on the spot. He wanted to know what people should do if they're afraid of getting the virus. The answer is, dummie, they should DO EVERYTHING THAT THE ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN TELLING PEOPLE TO DO FOR WEEKS!!! A ten year old could grasp that; why cant YOU?

I watched most of the Press Conf. and was so impressed with Pres. Trump's patience and the quality of the people surrounding him. First class. Sorry I missed the unloading on the dumb reporter. I did come away with the idea that if these men and women reporters are the best we have, then we are in trouble. Either they are really dumb and don't understand what is being said which is why they keep asking the same questions over and over again or they are the true enemies of Americas and are trying their best to trip our President up. Can't do it. He is so much smarter than the bunch of them put together. all SNL has to do is take notes and when this is all over, start showing those late night TV watchers what idiots look like.

President Trump had it exactly right calling it Sensationalism. These media Lilliputians need to go back to J School. Anyone who disrespects the President should dis-invited from the White House press Corp. While the American people are making sacrifices and doing their part, we don't need to listen to these low IQ clowns from CNN and MSNBC.

Yet another example that the press are unwatchable. All these people are doing is playing gotcha and wasting everyone's time.

Seriously, there is a little scariness in this whole thing. We don't have a time frame, a lot of unknowns. But (with the exception of most of the press and a few doofuses), we will get through this stronger than before. We're going to learn how to cope as we move through each day and each week.
I remember the response on the morning of 9/11. WIthin a couple hours, it was necessary to put every plane flying in the air down on the ground at the nearest airport. And with all those moving parts, it took a couple hours and it was done. Afterwards, a bunch of government bureaucrats thought that maybe we should go and write up a SOP on how to do this if we need to do it again. They quickly (well at least for government bureaucrats) gave up on the task, realizing that there were so many moving parts, it was best to let the ingenuity of the people to make it happen again. And it will do the same here.

I can't back this up with links to my social media accounts but many of my friends who are NOT fans of President Trump say they're fed up with the media. They complain that they just want the facts, they want to know how long our lives be on hold, when will there be a vaccine or treatment, when will schools reopen without the constant and childish digs at the president.

Government at all levels is a partner in this hysteria. Politics dictates a "response" and politicians are only too happy to spin and pass on rubbish. Media needs eyeballs, and lurid teasing is perfect to drive an audience. Watch the hysterical coverage. Scaring people makes them easier to manipulate and change behavior. There are wheels turning within wheels with this "crisis" that no one is allowing to go to waste.

As you can tell by his demeanor, the NBC reporter wasn't fazed by the presidential dress down. No respect and no shame at all. He's today's NBC Employee Hero of the Day.

Fear mongering. That is what this guy was doing. Could we just get back to good ol' American optimism?
Whose attitude do you prefer?
CNN doomers?
Or Pres. Trump?
I think voters will prefer optimism.

I don't like the reporter and I do like every decision coming from Trump. This is not a situation where peoples tempers are flaring, this is a situation where a Sensationalist Outrage Specialist is trying to sow discord and fear during a national emergency. Peter Alexander is a soy infused product of play dates and participation trophies.

The white house press corps needs new guidance on behavior and decorum. First, no shouted questions to the President or any individuals on the stage with him--raised hands in silence and the President will point to the selected individual. Second one question only from the reporter and one follow up. Third, when addressing the President he is referred to as Mr President then the first and last word out of their mouths asking their question is"Sir". Third any reporter trying to do show disrespect or fake news gotcha questions and not following this new guidance is escorted out immediately by the Secret Service from the White House with a 10 day suspension. Fourth, any second offense and that reporter loses his access permanently. Finally, If a news organization has reporter expelled permanently and a second reporter of their organization is also ejected for the rules violations the news organization is permanently barred from the White House Press Corps.

The WH needs to make rules. One thing for sure the press will never change or admit fault. This is the WH the world sees this circus. It’s embarrassing to hear this yelling. All the foreign leaders shake their heads when they see this.

NBC reporter Peter Alexander didn't know what hit him. Alexander asked,"What do you say to Americans that are scared though? Nearly 200 dead, 14,000 sick, millions as you witnessed, scared right now. What do you say to Americans, who are watching you right now, who are scared." The President has been attempting to calm fears by using his daily news briefings to assure Americans that he and the team of medical experts he has assemble are doing their utmost to curb the spread of this virus. The media on the other hand has propagated misinformation since the beginning of this crisis thereby stoking fear and creating more panic and uncertainty amongst our population. A pox on the media!

#10- Have long wondered if today’s journalists are ignorant, stupid, or malicious. A new consideration needs to be added to that list and it is, their college grade point average. Were some hired because of their physical appearance, their being photogenic more important than their GPA? None of these considerations are proffered for the purpose of ridiculing or demeaning any individual but, simply, sincere. It is baffling to see such herd mentality instead of personal pursuit of quality, substance, uniqueness. It is so refreshing to have Catherine Herridge reporting when she is made available because she not only possesses beauty, but charm, grace, courage, and intellect. It is sad that so many journalists echo each other’s verbiage in one form or another, verbiage that is often shallow in conveyance and comprehension of the issue, but most often decidedly pernicious when it comes to President Trump.
