He will be dropping out soon!” Trump wrote on Twitter. Biden easily beat Sanders in the Democrat primaries in Florida, Illinois, and Arizona on Tuesday. The president painted it as a victory for the Democrat establishment. “The DNC will have gotten their fondest wish and defeated Bernie Sanders, far ahead of schedule,” Trump said. “Now they are doing everything possible to be nice to him in order to keep his supporters. If Biden hadn't already promised the VP slot to a woman, he'd have done well to have offered the position to Sanders. Knowing Biden won't last out the term, Bernie would have jumped at the opportunity and Sander's millenial/progressive supporters would have stayed around to vote.

Yeh Trump's trying to wind Bernie up so he sticks around. He and Joe will keep berning (pun intended) cash on a meaningless primary fight. When Trump and slow Joe get on stage for a debate ? LMAO. Trump will make the comment that the second amendment isn't just for Hunters and Joe will take a swing at him.

I know Trump is trolling Bernie, hoping to provoke a stubborn response with Bernie staying in the race just to spite Trump. But I wish the president would stay away from this topic until it has played out. Bernie has a lot of support out there, and he could actually win against Trump. Their support is about even. I don't want a Communist coming too close to taking the highest office in the land. Stay out of this, Mr. President. Please hush a few more days.

As governments across the world implement "social distancing" efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus, in some cities, bars, restaurants and other public spaces have been ordered to close. That leaves self-quarantined people with a lot of free time and nowhere to go. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended postponing all large gatherings or events of 50 or more people until May, which left operators of tourist attractions with few options. Museums, historical sites and national parks have stepped up to deliver their signature experiences by offering virtual tours to anyone from the comfort of their homes.

China on Tuesday escalated its tit-for-tat propaganda war with the United States over who's to blame for the spread of the coronavirus by placing restrictive measures on several top media companies including The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal, prompting strong opposition from the Trump administration. It's just the latest move by Beijing to punish the U.S. for its reporting on the global pandemic, (Snip) In a statement, China claimed the new restrictions on U.S. reporters were a retaliation against the Trump administration for putting caps on the number of journalists from five Chinese state-run media outlets working in the United States last month.

Washington - President Donald Trump has picked his favorite weapon to fight the economic fallout from the coronavirus - an elimination of the “payroll tax” on workers’ gross earnings that is used to fund national retirement programs. Trump advisers on the White House economic team and Republican lawmakers are pushing for more targeted stimulus. But Trump has held firm on the idea, White House and Republican sources say. Trump told Republican senators in a meeting Tuesday he would like to waive the payroll tax entirely through the end of the year, or even permanently suspend it, one attendee told Reuters.

Joe Biden was sworn into the United States Senate on January 3, 1973. (Snip) What does 36 years in the Senate say about a politician? It says he is a senator -- not a president. No one who served 25 years in the Senate has ever become president. No one who served 20 years in the Senate has ever become president. On August 18, 1944, Senator Harry S. Truman met President Franklin D. Roosevelt for lunch at the White House. Truman had just been nominated to be Roosevelt’s running mate that year, and the two men dined on the White House lawn and chatted about the upcoming campaign. Truman had not seen the president for over a year and was shocked at Roosevelt’s haggard appearance. He noticed that FDR was so ill that he couldn’t even pour cream into his coffee. Despite seeing direct evidence of Roosevelt’s poor health, Truman told reporters afterwards that Roosevelt “Looked fine...He’s as keen as a briar.” Truman was lying. Roosevelt was a dying man,
