The Wuhan Virus Escaped from a Chinese Lab

Original Article

First of all, Wuhan is a place and not a race, and to identify the coronavirus by its place of origin, like naming the Ebola Virus for a river in Zaire, is not racist or xenophobic — it's merely accurate. There is no racism or xenophobia in labeling an infection "Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever" or calling something "Lyme Disease" after a nearby town in Ohio. What calling this latest virus the Wuhan Virus is is a reminder of the multiple contagions China has spawned and released on an unsuspecting world.

Definitely a Must Read; “... What Xi didn't say is that the coronavirus that has sickened more than 76,000 and claimed more than 2,200 lives escaped from one of the country's bioresearch labs. But the very next day, evidence emerged suggesting that this is what happened, as the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology released a new directive entitled "Instructions on strengthening biosecurity management in microbiology labs that handle advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus." Sobieski's piece is a good start. But, from the article, "To be clear, this is not to say the Wuhan Virus was part of any biological weapons program or that its release was intentional. It could just be that it was the result of Chernobyl-like sloppiness resulting from a bizarre blend of Chinese culture and global ambition. Indications of military involvement in the Wuhan lab are there and troubling." Daniel, I'm not normally the alarmist, but, don't be so sure the virus was/is not part of a current bioweapons program or that its "escape" from the lab was not intentional. You also stopped short of researching how the Wuhan lab just happened to have the virus and received an unauthorized shipment of corona virus samples from the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg Canada back in 2018. Recall that two Chinese nationals working at the NML had orchestrated the shipment and were immediately fired. My family in Canada informed me that the Canadian media had also reported on the incident in 2018, but, then quickly buried the story. Dig into this part of the story Daniel and come back to us...with the rest of the story. And watch your back. If there is evidence that the virus shipped from the Winnipeg lab to the Wuhan lab is the same virus infecting the world today, OMG.

All cultures are not the same. When will we realize this and stop making excuses for those who are dangerously different? What we need is truth. We also need businessmen and politicians whose main goal is not to pad their pockets with cash. Cheap labor is not so cheap anymore, is it? We need to become independent of countries who are enemies but supply us with pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, etc., To rely on China like this is a disaster in the making and we are paying dearly for it. The globalists do not have the best interests of this country at heart. Money and power drives them and look where that has gotten us. Hopefully, this is a wake-up call and we will make the necessary changes. Bring manufacturing of essential and necessary goods back to this country. We are suffering because of the globalist agenda.

What's the benefit to the Chinese government for releasing the virus? Causing global panic, drastically impacting financial markets around the world and possibly preventing President Trump, their nemesis, from being re-elected. The loss of lives are merely a means to an end. Call me crazy but...

I'm with #8 on this. What benefit would it be to the Chinese.....None. If this escaped from the lab, you would think that China would have an antidote. In some of these villages in China, sanitation is not a popular practice. I'm not buying the escape virus theory. China also took an extreme hit in their economy.

I lived in China as a young man. So I'll see anyone's anti-communism and raise them because I saw first-hand what communism had done to China. However, we need to be careful here. The Chinese were civilized when my ancestors lived in caves. China had cities, agriculture, and written language before Greece and Rome. Only Egyptian and Mesopotamian civilizations preceded Chinese civilization, and they survived nowhere near as long. If we adapt Will Durant's excellent definition -- civilizations are social structures for the creation, preservation, and transmission of culture -- the Chinese are among the most civilized people who have ever lived. Even today, the Republic of China in Taiwan and the extraordinary city of Hong Kong are among the most civilized places on Earth. Interestingly, their word for "barbarian" in Chinese has exactly the same meaning and derivation as ours: "Babbler" or "nonsense-talker." Unfamiliar should not be mistaken for uncivilized.

This article offers less evidence of its premise than Schiff and Nadler could muster. I'm not saying Sobieski is wrong, but there is nothing much but conjecture and circumstance to prove he's right. Now he notes that virology lab is 20 miles outside Wuhan...IIRC, it was originally reported to be within blocks of that bat meat market...

Accurate response from #10. Both China and Koryo (Korea) had advanced civilizations long before most countries on Earth. The blame goes one hundred percent to the poison known as Communism. President Trump should have answered that Tweet about the US Army being responsible like so: "How terrible is Chinese security if a US Army unit can walk into the middle of your country and let loose a virus, then walk out again, undetected?"

The Wuhan Virus Escaped from a Chinese Lab ...that Trump and Putin hacked and put the virus there in the first place, then forced the peaceful Chinese lab workers, at Vulcan Mind Meld gunpoint to inject a few with the virus then go to the Bat Soups R Us cafe and spread it to the world. Rocky Pelosi and Bullwinkle Schumer are on the case and here to help solve this crime! BTW, an average of 102 people die from auto fatalities per day in the US. Per the CDC just from THIS flu season so far in the US, 15 million had the flu; 140,000 hospitalized; 8200 deaths. Huh, and no closed schools for that? No nationwide cancelled events? No emergency billions? No ridiculous reports of who got the flu and who shook who's hand? No Orange Man Bad 24/7 lies, blaming him all over the Marxist Media? That's weird. Yeah, it's not wrong to call corona virus the Wuhan flu; but in the US, it's also not wrong and it's most accurate to call it the "Fidiots Who Died From Starvation, Surrounded By Toilet Paper" flu.

I've been quietly waiting to see how long it would take for the #8 comment to show up. If China's economic plans were being systematically dismantled, this could be the ideal scenario for them to reset everything, by bringing down the West and getting rid of 'Orange man bad'. It sure appears the MSM worldwide is critical of our government's handling of this as opposed to unifying us as happened after 9-11. Oddly enough, the atmosphere I felt at my local Kroger on Thursday afternoon was that of 'all of us pulling together ' to get through this as I felt right after 9-11. If this was some 'deep state' conspiracy involving multi nationals and the media, it just might backfire and serve to unify our Citizens. Think about it...if the Clintons, and their ilk are going to go down in the next 4-20 years, would they take everyone else down with them?

The headline assertion is not actually confirmed by the article narrative's evidence. There's a big difference between "escaped" and "may have escaped," which should have been used. The inferences made in the article suggest that because of the bio-weapons lab is in the Wuhan area, it MAY have been the source. Given the additional anecdotal comments about certain military involvement and possible selling of lab animals, yes, the assertion is plausible...but not proven. This is the kind of overstatement that in today's hysterical environment can further damage international relationships, or worse. Editors and headline writers need to up their game to avoid such unfounded assertions.

Bio Laboratories are not exclusive to China. We have them here as well. Back in 1989 there was one such lab located on the outskirts of Washington DC in Reston VA. You can Google Ebola Reston VA for the facts. I remember reading "The Hot Zone" and was blown away by this potential nightmare, much worse than the Corona virus. There are a lot of crazies in the world that can cause destruction far greater than a deranged single gun man. President Trump is taking the right path with his experts and industry partners. His leadership is unparalleled. The Corona virus will soon die and we will have experienced an alarming wake up call in the process.

I believe if it was a bio weapon developed by the Chinese to get Trump they would have released it near a US lab rather than in their own homeland. The theory that it was an escape from the lab in Wuhan is logical (if lacking in proof). Another thing, the desire of wanting products cheap is not a result of the globalists it is the result of people demanding quality products that are cheap--look in the mirror.

The 'Money' quote: And then there is this little-known fact: Some Chinese researchers are believed to sell laboratory animals to street vendors after they have finished experimenting on them[.] ... Instead of properly disposing of infected animals by cremation, as the law requires, they sell them on the side to make a little extra cash. So... it might have been spread in the 'wet market'.... but where did it come from first?

What follows is not an excuse for Chinese behavior; What that needs to be considered when dealing with China and its responses is the Chinese culture of “face”. The Chinese will protect face, individual, group and nation. It’s acceptable to tell a lie to save face to avoid humiliation or embarrassment, to maintain dignity or preserve reputation. My experience has been you need read between the lines and try to figure out if “truth” is being altered to save face. #1’s FTA is an example. Instead of a statement saying we screwed up and the virus escaped the lab we get “...the very next day, evidence emerged suggesting that this is what happened, as the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology released a new directive entitled "Instructions on strengthening biosecurity management in microbiology labs that handle advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus." Note the plural labs in the Ministry’s statement. There are questions that may never get answered are, why did the Wuhan lab have the COVID-19 virus, for what purpose and how many other bio labs in China have virus.

Wonder how often the Chinese lab checked its employees for contagions. The lab is the most likely source of the virus. Open air markets? How many open air markets are there in the world? There would be multiple outbreaks of different contagions all over the world all the time. Does evidence support that? There is some evidence to that effect. In the end nothing has been completely ruled out.

Medical bills, doctor bills, hospital bills, burial costs, wrongful death, lost business, lost wages, the bills for ALL of it should be presented to China for its GROSS negligence in its handling of the Wuhan virus that caused it all, which means punitive damages on top of it, say multiply it all by 10. And you know what? I expect they WILL be presented the bill. I understand lawsuits are already being prepared to file in American courts. China is about to receive an in-depth education on the workings of American civil courts and the skills of our take-no-prisoners personal injury lawyers. Who needs war when you can sue a country's government out of existence?

Menachery V.D. published in Nature Medicine in 2015 the generation of a chimeric bat coronavirus able to infect human cells. Sone authors were from the Wuhan high containment laboratory. This generated the following discussion in the pages of the scientific journal Nature in 2015: “ An experiment that created a hybrid version of a bat coronavirus — one related to the virus that causes SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) — has triggered renewed debate over whether engineering lab variants of viruses with possible pandemic potential is worth the risks. In an article published in Nature Medicine1 on 9 November, scientists investigated a virus called SHC014, which is found in horseshoe bats in China. The researchers created a chimaeric virus, made up of a surface protein of SHC014 and the backbone of a SARS virus that had been adapted to grow in mice and to mimic human disease. The chimaera infected human airway cells — proving that the surface protein of SHC014 has the necessary structure to bind to a key receptor on the cells and to infect them. ... But other virologists question whether the information gleaned from the experiment justifies the potential risk. Although the extent of any risk is difficult to assess, Simon Wain-Hobson, a virologist at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, points out that the researchers have created a novel virus that “grows remarkably well” in human cells. “If the virus escaped, nobody could predict the trajectory,” he says.”

Who is to say that one Chinese worker at the lab did not get infected with corona virus at the lab, became a super carrier of the virus because of the strong strain that he or she was infected with, and then started the world pandemic by spreading the virus either knowingly or unknowingly throughout the very unhygienic Wuhan region. One thing is for sure if that unlucky person has not died already, and the Communist Chinese ever find out who it was, you can bet your boots that person will disappear and be eliminated, with the Communist Chinese leadership keeping that story a top State secret from the world. There is no doubt that President Trump took the correct immediate action when he stopped all non US citizens from flying to the US from China once it became evident that the corona virus pandemic was underway in China. That action undoubtedly stopped the mass importation of the corona virus from China to the USA. Trump has also taken the right decision with a US Government-Business medical scientific partnership to combat the corona virus instead on relying on bumbling bureaucrats, and bloviating politicians such as the highly partisan Joseph Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer for support, who have been trying to gain whatever political advantage they can during this serious national emergency.

Given the choice of taking the blame for this failure to provide the comrades with food, and placing the blame on AMERICA for the disease's spread, they eliminate their feeding-the-people problems by simply eliminating some of their people, and then place the blame for communist failure on others. Remember what happened to the Chinese doctor who blew the whistle on the Wuhan virus? Benghazi liar and former U.N. ambassador Susan Rice has seemingly risen to the top of Joe Biden’s VP list, which would make a unique pairing of someone who can’t tell the truth and someone who can’t remember the truth. One of the chief unmaskers of Trump officials caught up in deep state surveillance of the 2016 Trump campaign and an architect of the attempted coup against Trump, Rice recently lied again by pushing the false claim that Trump ignored reports of Russian bounties for the killing of U.S. troops in Afghanistan and was doing Putin’s bidding by callously letting American soldiers get killed.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course, unless that horse resides on the Pritzer horse farm in Wisconsin As he requests the power to seize private business property if owners open too early or not in concert with his wishes, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker says it’s not safe yet to hold indoor church services, but it’s totally okay that construction workers travel to his Wisconsin horse farm to build his new house.

Does the Wuhan virus, which arguably escaped from a Chinese virology lab, supersede the rights guaranteed to American citizens under the U.S. Constitution? The owners of a New Jersey gym think not. They want to earn a living and pursue their American dream, and like most business owners and their customers are not stupid, suicidal, or children. They are American citizens watching their unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness being ripped away by dime-store Napoleons who see this pandemic as a chance to pursue the liberal progressive dream of controlling every aspect of our lives.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) appears to have started to shift his views on the filibuster with remarks that he made on two news shows on Sunday morning. The shift from Manchin comes after he has repeatedly stated that he would not vote to end the filibuster, despite pressure from the far-Left. During the interviews on Sunday, Manchin repeatedly claimed that he was not open to ending the filibuster because he did not want to strip the minority party of their power in the Senate, but signaled that he was open to changing it.Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Manchin if he would consider “reforming the filibuster” if “Republicans

In an open letter released Sunday, Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged him to “honor his commitment” and include the Hyde Amendment in Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending package, writing “we feel used and betrayed.” The letter states: We are very disappointed about the COVID-19 relief package’s exclusion of the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer funding for abortion. [snip] As pro-life leaders in the evangelical community, we publicly supported President Biden’s candidacy with the understanding that there would be engagement [with] us on the issue of abortion and particularly the Hyde Amendment

If you had any doubts that Meghan Markle is a manipulative piece of work, her bombshell Oprah interview Sunday night dumping on the British monarchy would set you straight. Prince Harry’s American wife accused his family of hateful racism against her baby, claimed they refused to protect her and drove her to the point of suicide. She made the incendiary and implausible charge that when she was pregnant with Archie, the royal family decreed that her unborn son would be denied the title of “prince” because her mixed race meant he might have dark skin.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I keep calling him general, but my, my—the guy who runs that outfit over there,” Biden said.(Snip) Earlier at the event, Biden mentioned the Defense Department leader by his name, “Secretary Austin,” while appearing to read from a teleprompter.

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
