Ohio Official Who Claimed 100,000 Covid-19
Cases in the State Says She Was 'Guesstimating'

The director of Ohio's Department of Health, Amy Acton, shocked a lot of people on Thursday when she said in a press conference that she believed 100,000 Ohioans had already contracted Covid-19. The Hill: "We know now, just the fact of community spread, says that at least 1 percent, at the very least, 1 percent of our population is carrying this virus in Ohio today," Acton said. "We have 11.7 million people. So the math is over 100,000. So that just gives you a sense of how this virus spreads and is spreading quickly." The Columbus Dispatch offered effusive praise of Acton for being a "voice of knowledge."

Comments:

She should have been fired immediately. Meanwhile, panicked lofos are tearing through the stores, emptying shelves and fighting over toilet paper thanks to her "guesstimating!!"

She actually said that. "Guesstimaing" is not even a real word. It is a portmanteau of "guessing" and "estimating". Guess - to supose without sufficient information to be sure of being correct. Estimate - an approximate calculation Basically, she pulled the number out of her rear end.

Sadly, she is a Demon-Rat, so it was far more like wishful thinking!!!! In case you haven't noticed, Demon-Rats love it when people die. Oh, the unborn are the most fun to kill, especially in the most gruesome of ways. But if some old peasants, and hey, some otherwise healthy peasants too, can be culled from the herd, that is great in the Demon-Rat mindset As long as the ruling Politburo members are the protected class, there are plenty of lowly peasants to sacrifice.

How many more naive Republicans have partisan democrats whispering in their ears? I hate that we cannot trust professionals to bring their opinions to the conversation because they cannot lay down their political bias long enough to be of service when needed. What a piece of work these hacks are.

President Trump earned a 19% job approval rating from black voters in the latest Fox News poll as the Trump reelection campaign works to double the 8% support he received from this cohort four years ago. Trump's team is spending tens of millions of dollars to woo black voters in the November election, deploying a massive field and data program to target a voting bloc that for decades has overwhelmingly supported the Democratic Party. Until all campaigns were forced online by the coronavirus pandemic, that investment included opening special campaign field offices in urban neighborhoods in key battleground states designed to cater to black voters.

Many things about Christianity are counterintuitive but none more than this: God the perfect Father sent Jesus the perfect Son to Earth as a human being to suffer and die for the sins of imperfect human beings so that those who believe in the Son would receive the perfect Holy Spirit and live in eternal love with God. Scripture makes all this clear. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16). MILAN – A bridge on a normally busy provincial road in northern Italy collapsed on Wednesday but with virtually no traffic during the coronavirus lockdown, only two truck drivers suffered minor injuries, the fire brigade said. A spokesman for the fire brigade said the 260-meter (853-feet) bridge on the SS330 road near the town of Aulla, roughly midway between Genoa and Florence, in the northern tip of Tuscany, collapsed at 10:25 am. Although casualties were limited in Wednesday’s incident, the incident highlights the poor state of repair of Italy’s road network, after the collapse of a motorway bridge in the port city of Genoa in 2018 that killed 43 people.

A town in England used Oregon’s “exploding whale” incident to teach a lesson about the importance of social distancing during the coronavirus outbreak. The Doncaster Council shared the tale of a sperm whale that died and washed ashore near the city of Florence, Ore., in November 1970. City officials attempted to blow up the 45-foot, 8-ton mammal – a plan that went “horribly wrong,” the council said in a thread on Twitter. At the time, the Oregon State Highway Department decided to use 20 cases of dynamite to disintegrate the mammal. They believed seagulls and other scavengers would clean up any remains.
