Today's Great Black Dilemma

I was proud recently when Marc Little, chairman of my organization, the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, stood behind President Donald Trump at a White House event for Black History Month and prayed for him.
Then a parade of black liberals did their thing in the media to try to deflate and devalue this important event. Their actions help us understand why so little progress has been made after more than half a century of civil rights activism.
CNNs Keith Boykin called the black Christians grouped around the president "Uncle Toms." Chris Redd of "Saturday Night Live" called them "White House negroes.
So little progress made after more than half a century of civil rights activism? Huh? Star, girl, you gotta look around a bit.
Those who have escaped "The Community", constructively joined society with other races and don't live in their own "ghetto" are achieving wonderfully. (That's putting aside entertainers and athletes, who are a whole 'nother matter.) It is those who fail themselves by putting stock in The Community and its race-baiters and separatists, who would rather nurse a historical grudge and deny opportunity than accomplish anything themselves... those who cannot see the reality around them, who plant nooses and cry racism where there is none, who roil hatred with fake attacks and accusations.
It's a whole new world out there, Star. Everyone can enjoy it...everyone.

fta: "Why are blacks still inclined to attribute the challenges they face to racism? Because that's all they hear from left-wing black media moguls who are in business to get a rise out of people, rather than enlighten them.
A major theme being peddled in the current Democratic presidential campaign is that wealth is evil. Candidates are tripping over one another to see who can come up with a better tax on wealthy Americans. But is punishing wealth and achievement the answer for improving the lives of black Americans or any Americans? According to one study, 69% of those on Forbes Magazine's list of 400 wealthiest Americans are self-made. And 20% grew up poor."
Excellent point. A keystone of America itself that Blacks have been told by Democrats is simply impossible for them due to "systemic racism." That is a lie. The way the Democrats have kept Black Americans captive is almost like collective Stockholm syndrome. When they see their abusers for the evil they truly are, it will be a great day.

Socialism is where the state owns the people, and the people exist to serve the state. When they are not useful anymore, the state denies them resources and 'helps' them to go away. Socialism gains a toe-hold because it lies and tells you everything will be free. Just because money is worthless under socialism does not mean everything is free. The state only gives you what it thinks you should have. The above description fits a plantation in the old south also.

The blacks in the Civil Rights era were well-groomed, wore business or Sunday church attire when they attended marches and did not harp on their victimhood. They wanted equality, jobs and opportunity. Now it is all about how much they are owed. They show up scowling and screaming, looking like something a dog dragged out of a garbage can and wonder why they are not accepted by mainstream society. They could learn a lot from the people who marched and risked their lives to better their people's situation in this country.

Poster #4 makes a good point and one which I was going to say. You look at the photos and newsreels of Blacks (enough with African Americans which only reinforces their sense of being apart from their fellow Americans) ) prior to the Civil Rights Act and they all dressed as respectable members of their community. Fifty plus years later and blacks in this country achieved something even better than equality - they have ghettoized so much of American culture. Then again, you look at the Vietnamese boat people who came to this country in most cases with only the clothes they were wearing an no English and most of them became proud Americans. I dunno Star, maybe some blacks just don't have what it takes to succeed.

The later, great Booker T. Washington identifed the problem when he said, over 100 years ago, "There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public........"

"Uncle Tom" and "house negro" are two of the most racist terms existing. These commentators are foul.

It is so sad, watching the blacks who are still sticking with democrats fumble around and attack those fellow blacks who want to think for themselves. It must be real scary for those democrat minorities still stuck on the plantation to contemplate freedom of mind. I support in any way I can any liberals who come out and openly support Trump. After the violence directed at us last time, they are taking a real chance by supporting him. I cannot ignore that.
I hope more blacks are watching the media insulting them and their choices, because I personally find it insulting that democrats continue with the racism.

Ms. Parker summarizes it very simply.
"Today's great challenge for blacks is to shake off the culture of the welfare plantation and the destructive rhetoric of evil black liberals who want to keep them there."
I wish them well and hope that millions of them move off of the welfare plantation and into their own lives, earning a living and wresting more control of their lives away from the race hustlers and the government drones who would "help them".

I’m an old white guy. I have a question.
Knowing what we know today would your rather be
A black man who is a member of the Democratic Party or a member of the Republican Party?
There is a choice to be made and life is about living with the choices we make.
