Ten years ago this month, when President Obama Barack was signing Obamacare into law, Vice President Joe Biden said to him in a stage whisper “This is a big f***ing deal.” A decade later, Obamacare has turned out to be a big f***ing failure. And Biden is now promising to expand it.
Remember “you can keep your plan”? Or “family premiums will go down by $2,500”? How about the claim that Obamacare would cut the number of uninsured in half? That it would dramatically reduce the federal deficit? And that it would make the health care industry more efficient?

I’ll say it again. Until our representatives are made to live with the same crap laws they make for us we will never get good legislation.

The dems answer to problems IS always more government, that doesn't work either.
The sad thing is all the identity groups that comprise the dem party keep coming back to the dry well expecting to find unicorns. They come back because the dems make empty promises they cannot keep and Republicans tell a story of reality comprised of endurance, hard work, education, personal responsibility, and minimal government.
The dem voters prefer the unicorn fantasies.

I know It’s way too late for this because the tooth paste is already out of the tube but can someone please tell me when healthcare became the responsibility of the government??? Last time I read the constitution it still said that one of the government’s responsibilities was to “ promote the general welfare” not provide it. Your health and your healthcare is your responsibility.

I don't see how transferring the cost of insurance from those that do not pay to me will decrease my insurance premiums. Please put the explanation in writing and sign. Thank you.

Let's not lose sight of the healthcare system problems that opened the door to Obamacare to begin with. In our smugness we can enjoy the ridiculous failure but we still haven't addressed the real problems that will remain even if every aspect of Obamacare were to be eliminated.
We'll still be left with a disaster and people will clamor for government to do something and it will be spun as : turning to government to solve the problem wasn't wrong, it just wasn't done right.
Government is the underlying problem. I should be able to have my gallbladder removed by Lenny down the block if I please. As long as I know Lenny is a Veterinary school dropout and just does surgery as a side jig to augment his dog walking business, it's my choice. Ok I'm doing the calculus thing of testing the limits between zero and infinity but the over-regulation influenced by the AMA lobby has created this mess. The insurance industry and it's relationship with government also created this mess.
Insurance itself let's people behave as though someone else is paying so who cares what things cost. Things went crazy after insurance went from protection against catastrophic issues and morphed into third party payer for everything. So the free market should have responded right? But our government steps in and limits the ability of the market to react by over-regulating the insurance industry.
"One of the methods used by statists to destroy capitalism consists in establishing controls that tie a given industry hand and foot, making it unable to solve its problems, then declaring that freedom has failed and stronger controls are necessary." --Ayn Rand

ObieCare is a BFF because leftists do not know how to put together a program that requires intelligence and proficiency! Remember the disastrous billion-dollar start-up? Anything fabricated by liberals is guaranteed to fail.

#5's point about who is paying is spot on. I heard an excellent analogy comparing health care and food as rights. Let's imagine food became a right and nobody paid at the grocery stores....then further imagine that the store owners could jack up prices as high as they like because the "customer" doesn't pay. Who wouldn't rather have filet mignon than hamburger helper? Everyone would be buying the best and most expensive food available. On the flip side, why should the stores carry items that are popular and healthy? People now have no choice, they all go to the grocery store which stocks the same items, they no longer have a choice. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Stupid to let the fox (government) into the hen house. There is not one instance where the government behaves responsibly with our money.
We have a wealthy friend who ended up paying for his son's surgery. The boy had gotten a splinter of wood in his hand and ignored it. The situation deteriorated and in the end it cost $23000 for the surgery!!

I think it has a huge A ++++ based on goobernment standards. Lose your doctor, check. Death panels, check. More expensive drugs, check. Higher premiums, check. Paying for crap one will never ever need, check. Based on the gold standard of goobernment, this law has made the lives of every man, woman and child in this country worse. And that is the goal of our goobernment.

The only reason Hussein wanted to get Americans on government health care was to destroy this nation. We had a federal law that anyone needing health care got it. If a person went to an ER. That person could not be turned away Now thanks to Hussein, we all wait and wait and wait to see a dr We use to have the best care in the world because we paid for it.

"Premiums doubled in the first four years...". Premiums doubled? I'm self employed. My health insurance premium went from $122 monthly in 2010 to $737 now - and quadrupled in the first four years. So, I pay $8,844 annually and have a $5000 deductible before I have insurance.

The secret goals of Obamacare succeeded very well. Expanded power to the government to control our lives and money flowing through their filters before it ever made it to health care providers. The fine that became a tax through the IRS made sure that every working person took a hit and the biggest goal of all, a large segment of the population that did not work was completely tied to dependence on the democrat party. Expanded Medicaid and Medicare further expanded the worthless, helpless segment of the population that has always been a drain on the working taxpayers. Obama may have suffered a blow to his pride but living out there on twenty nine acres of prime beachfront is easing his pain.

How many doctors can work in these conditions?
I know many doctors retired because of ACA.
There is such a shortage of Doctors in my area that people who are not doctors are my primary care doctor, I see them. They can not spend more than 20 minutes with a patient. They can reorder my prescriptions or order lab work or set up an appointment with a specialist. Mostly send me to a chiropractor or physical therapy. I have been begging for help for chronic pain for 3 years.
Just last summer I demanded to see a doctor because I knew I had bed bug bites (hotel). I told the doctor why I thought they were bed bug bites. After seeing the bites on my legs, He spent my 20 minutes with me looking at pictures of bites on genitals then treated me for scabies. Thank God I had an appointment with my dermatologist the next day, his assistance took one look at me and said you have bed bug bites

Obamacare was never about providing healthcare. It’s about government taking over healthcare.
