"We live at a time when religion, long an essential pillar of our society, is being driven from the public square," Attorney General William Barr told the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville on Wednesday."Thank God we have the National Religious Broadcasters to counter that effort. You have boldly shown that media can serve higher ends: the safeguarding of faith as well as the cultivation of the classical virtues of the mind and heart that maintain our republican experiment in self-governance."In his speech, Barr said religion, decentralized government, and the free press once protected us against majoritarian tyranny,
Barr needs to stop making speeches nobody really needs to hear, and start convicting those trying to stage a coup on our president. What are you waiting for???
Do not answer with another speech!

God gave him the brains and the wherewithal of the federal government to root out traitors to this nation. He needs to focus on that.

What about the erosion of any confidence in the DOJ, of which you are in charge, they say, although no one has seen anything done. We have a DOJ that won't tell us what they are doing, refuses to release FOIA information. We have a DOJ that has no goals, no deadlines, just show up for work, get paid, what a deal. If your boss asks anything, just say under investigation, under review, or like Mueller, "I can't get into that". Somehow this is not very satisfying to those paying the bills. From 50 years of business personnel experience, no performance out of the chute, and it won't ever get any better. Barr, Wray, and Graham have done nothing, and all three should be relieved of their duties. They can let Durham go too. I am thinking we are being Hubered again. No grand jury activity, no one having depositions. It is not credible that everything leaks in DC, except what Barr, Wray, and Durham are doing, which leads me to believe nothing is being done, so nothing to leak.

Although unable to find the precise verbiage in the transcript of President Trump’s post impeachment acquittal, if memory hasn’t failed, on two occasions toward the latter part of his comments he mentioned forthcoming judicial accountability for the effort to invalidate a duly elected president and said again that no (future) president should have to go through what has been done to him.
President Trump has faced an unprecedented barrage of hate, revenge, schemes and plots to destroy him and to remove him from office; however, in spite of all those obstacles, he has had remarkable success fulfilling an agenda he presented to the American electorate so it seems reasonable to continue to trust him and remember the adage, “timing is everything.” President Trump is a man of his word.
The evil that surrounds him by his adversaries emanates from an evil source: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12). May God watch over President Trump, guide him, and protect him and his family.

How about the massive Deep State corruption and traitors everywhere? "Somebody" ought to do something about that, too. I wonder who has the responsibility for that? /s off

That’s all well and good, but I do believe Barr needs to be focused on something the one thing that has never happened in the history of this nation. Government bureaucrats conspired to unseat a duly elected President aided and abetted by the highest elected officials in our government along with the complicit media. That is no small thing. It is a major crime of the century. Never before have we had people at this level in our government both elected and unelected actually conspire to commit sedition. There is no sugar coating it, this is an egregious act of betrayal. So while I agree with the statements Mr. Barr has made, they really are meaningless unless we deal with the elephant in the room. The country is waiting to see what Barr is going to do. Will we be subjected to another disappointment or will he rise to the occasion and do what is right and needs to be done. Right now, I am not hopeful and that saddens me beyond belief. If this goes by the way of previous known crimes committed by government employees, it will mean the end of the country. The deep state will have won and Americans will never trust our government again. Where is the righteous indignation that should fill the heart of our attorney general?

Barr Warns of ... 'Monolithic' Media
Still caught in the old playbook.
There is no "Media".
When you hear the word "Media",
you should think Multi-National Corporate Intercom.
The system that Slim-Bloom-Dock use
to direct what C-Suite broadcasts
into the drones cubicles
to Preserve, Protect, and Defend
the Corporate Bottom Line today.

As the late Chris Farley would shout on SNL, “For the love of God, indict somebody!”
He won’t, and we’ll grow even more frustrated over the unequal justice system in our alleged nation of laws.

Erosion of religion, centralization of government, and monolithic media? Sounds like a description of Russia, China, Cuba, or Venezuela, but Barr is describing the United States.

Fascinating. I hope his new cookbook comes out soon. Hey, you know what would restore citizens faith in God, break up the unelected Deep State and force the media to stop covering up leftist crime? ONE indictment, trial and conviction of any of the handful of top rats that most of the public knows by name, comey, holder, hillary or even B.O.!!!!!!
