We’re supposed to believe that it is a wonderful thing in Communist countries where the leaders care so much for their people. They teach them to read. They have free education and health care. Cubans have very strict gun control. Abortion is available on demand in Cuba, and in 2019 they raised the mandatory minimum wage. All things the Democrats running for President support. It looks like an ideal Democrat platform.
After 60 years of Castro Brothers control, they have raised the minimum wage to $16 (per month, not per hour). The average wage will shoot up from $24 to $42 per month.

Ask any older Cubans what they think of Fidel and you will always get the same answer. Spoiler: It's way different that what Bernie and Michael Moore are telling us.

So Bernie or AOC or any socialist supporter: instead of preaching or whining to everyone about society's problems, why don't you get off your sphincter muscles and do something? Anybody can talk and, Bernie, you even have a difficult time doing that. How about walking the walk now. How about you grab some scrub buckets, paint buckets, or whatever bucket applies and get cleaning. Yeah, I get that you think you are better at telling everyone else what to think or do but it is about time that you get off your high horses and actually do something for real change. After all, real change occurs with real effort. . .

Hey Bernie, if socialism is so great why do people risk their lives and the lives of their children to escape it to flee to capitalistic societies, predominantly the USA? Oh but it's groovy because they can read?

There's no fool like an old fool!
This old reprobate thinks Cuba did a good job helping people learn to read? That was so they could follow written orders, ya big dummy! Mussolini made the trains run on time ... by shooting any engineer who was more than 20 minutes late. And your point, moron?
Saying Fidel Castro did "some good things" is like saying Hitler did some good things ... like putting everyone to work --- especially in the concentration camps. And Hitler controlled mental illness in Germany too! By executing everyone in the mental hospitals because he didn't want to pay to take care of them.
We can't let ANY Demo-rat near the White House.

If there was ever a reason to appreciate Stalin for anything, it was for coining the term "useful idiot". And guess what that makes Gramps after his praise of Castro?

Castro must have been TOO good; all his 'unworthy' people picked up and swam the ocean to prove it to him. /s Remember Elian's mom who died before his six year-old eyes: She died for freedom and Elian got put back into it. Yeah, Cuba is great if you like slow suicide.

Sanders must have thought his three houses and millions of dollars are only the start.
After all, Castro had 20 secret lavish properties and a yacht to go from one to the other.
Tho Castro claimed he lived on $33/month he socked away over $168 million!

The snowflake crowd, between the ages of 18 and 25, appears to be Comrade Bernies biggest fan base. These useful idiots were too young to actually remember who Fidel Castro or Joseph Stalin were, or the atrocities they committed on their own people. Their idea of Socialism is hanging around Starbucks chatting with other snowflakes. We can thank our dumbed down public education system for this. The priority has shifted from education to indoctrination in the public schools and universities. Now they teach these snowflakes about transgenderism rather than world history. The most important thing to these young fools is where to get that next body piercing or tattoo, what obnoxious color to dye their hair, or what video game to purchase next!

Castro was the real Russian dupe though the media and democrats deny it. Supported by the Soviets in return for them using his nation as their jump off point for spying operations in the USA. Plus, when Castro died, it was found that he skimmed /scammed multi millions in Russian aid to his nation, and kept his people in abject poverty. All while buying custom tailored suits in London and Paris for himself.
All one needs to do is go to Little Havana and talk to the older people who escaped the depredation of Castro, and who lost relatives who 'disappeared' into his prisons never to be seen again, alive anyway. The president he replaced might have been bad, but Castro was mega times worse.

Bernie is right: Cuba was so much better under Castro that the parents of my wife's college roommate smuggled her out of Cuba on who knows what kind of boat, risking the prospect that they would never see her again. Some five or so years later, they managed to get out. Both of them were MDs, and, guess what? The United States would not recognize their credentials as doctors, so they had to start all over again (which they did and eventually became US MDs). What a dangerous idiot this guy is...

Castrol taught them to read and write, the Marxist Communist Manifesto. Why did so many people travel in canoes and inner tubes 28 miles from Cuba to the USA if things were so good in Cuba. Those old cars you see in Cuba are running about 60 years old. They have managed to keep the old cars running over the years. A Ford may have a Chevy engine or vice versa. They may have a tractor engine in a truck. Notice that the farmers are hauling their produce into town by horse or donkey drawn wagons or on motor scooters. Look at the videos and know what communism is really like.
