So why would Vladimir Putin be rooting for

The mainstream media has been doing its level best to claim that new intelligence reports about Russian meddling in the U.S. election, helping Bernie Sanders, is really all about Russia sowing chaos, or else getting Bernie up there on the Democrat slot to re-elect Trump. It's always Trump who's the real heart of these Russian affections, see, and Bernie is just a means. It's rubbish. The Russians have always had Sanders at a first-draft choice for president, not just in this election but in the 2016 election, too. It was obvious enough from three things: One, the content of the 2016 hacking of the Democratic National Committee's emails. What did those expose?

If you notice your opponent has a weakness, you try to convince them it's a strength. Nothing is more satisfying than watching a strong enemy destroy themselves.

"Russian meddling in the U.S. election ... is really all about Russia sowing chaos" So chaos in the election is a bad thing? I might point out that is the dems/media/Left/DeepState/NeverTrumpers that have sown vast amounts of chaos since Trump was elected. They have lied, leaked, investigated, impeached, taken bogus legal actions, committed criminal acts, and done everything they can think of in furtherance of their "resistance". The paltry, ridiculous efforts of the Russians, IF they exist, are miniscule by comparison and essentially ineffective. A 5th column assault is always going to be more effective that an attack from outside the defenses. We are TRYING to keep the Russians out. The system as it is constituted presently is facilitating the liberal chaos bringers efforts. If the Russians ARE making some efforts, it is more likely they are playing with the useful liberal idiots. "Wouldn't Putin like a U.S. that's falling apart? The best way to do that is it to get someone elected who really will make it fall apart." As stated, the Russians are pragmatists with a Communist background. The primary thing is, America is a competitor; amusingly a Capitalist notion. Under Trump, America is an UBER competitor. Under Bernie, America would be a punch drunk boxer on the ropes. Russia doesn't support Bernie because he is a Communist buddy. They support Bernie because he will be a disaster for America, their rival. Putin supports Bernie because he is a useful idiot who will easily be crushed under Putin's heel and America along with him. Bernie says he doesn't WANT Putin's help. That's because he doesn't want people thinking about WHY Putin might want Bernie elected. It certainly wouldn't be so that America will be better off. As to Russia supporting Trump, WHY would they support someone who has made the US into THE apex competitor again? Expanding that, it applies to most of the world. An America ascendant, an America First is an obstacle to most countries in some way. THAT is why they oppose Trump.

Bernie is currently the Democrat front runner who the Democrat establishment wants to screw out of any chance of winning the Democrat nomination for President at all costs. So all of a sudden the establishment Democrat supporting DC “Deep State” Intelligence community gives the Congressional Democrats, including known leaker Adam Schiff a “classified” briefing to the effect that the Russians are now trying to help both President Trump and Bernie win the 2020 election through unspecified means. Note that both Trump and Bernie are politicians who the establishment Democrats do not want to win that election. Not surprisingly the Congressional Democrats immediately leaked the particular information that was the subject of that “classified” briefing to the liberal media for dissemination hoping to hurt both Trump and Bernie. You got to remember that the Russians are always going to be out there doing what they always do when they consider it to be in the interest of Russia and the Russian leadership, release misleading information and meddling in the affairs of other countries. Without starting a nuclear war, neither the Democrats or the Republicans are going to stop the Russians from doing that. What the US Government should be doing is securing US data and election related systems so that the Russians cannot “hack” them or otherwise use them to import Russian generated false or misleading information into America. Calling out Bernie or Trump as being “Russian Agents” is exactly the type of misinformation that the Russians are always trying to ferment, and by now most Americans who have been paying attention, know that such false claims that have occurred targeting Trump without any supporting evidence, are Democrat Party political “dirty tricks”.

Well, he did well here in 2016—and now he won it outright. In 2016, Hillary Clinton took the Nevada Caucus relatively early. In 2020, Sanders did the same, but it was a landslide win. The writing was on the wall. The Vermont democratic socialist just dominated the exit polls. He dominated with very liberal voters, took a good chunk of college-educated women—no one took an outright majority there—and ran the table with Hispanic voters. He appears to have received a healthy amount of support from union workers, specifically the key culinary workers union that has been in a nasty fight with the Sanders campaign over his Medicare for All proposal.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio had strong words for former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who finished a distant third in the Nevada caucuses on Saturday: “Try to not be so smug when you just got your ass kicked.” With 23% of precincts reporting, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) had won 40.3%, leading former Vice President Joe Biden with 22.0% and Buttigieg with 17.0% — barely above the 15% threshold for winning delegates to the national convention. Buttigieg, delivering a speech to supporters, congratulated Sanders, but warned that he was too radical to win a national election.

With nothing to sell to voters, Democrats have been going off with pop guns against each other in this long season of debates, each taking aim at the next guy while President Trump stands by in the distance. patiently with his Howitzer, nicknamed 'Economy.' That's put them in a quandary. Some, such as Pete Buttigieg, are trying to claim the economy isn't so good after all. Others, such as Bernie Sanders, are trying to claim that as the economy goes up, wages remain stagnant, so only billionaires are feeling it. Then there's President Obama, who from the sidelines admits the economy is good --

That Bernie Sanders has won the Nevada caucuses is a one-line story: Bernie won in Nevada. The real story is the absolute horror that establishment Democrats are experiencing as they realize that Bernie momentum leaves them with only two choices at the Democrat party convention in July: Yield to the passionate base and anoint Bernie as their candidate, despite the probability (although, sadly, not the certainty) that he will lose spectacularly; or they can override the passionate base and, in a backroom deal, give the nomination to someone else, yielding to an equally spectacular schism in the party as the Bernie Bros get angry. Many lawmakers around the country welcomed in the new year by pursuing legislation that would severely curtail the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. Meanwhile, law-abiding citizens began 2020 just as they ended 2019—by showing repeatedly just how instrumental that right is to the security of a free state. According to almost every major study on the issue, Americans use their firearms defensively between 500,000 and 3 million times each year. Even if we assume the lower end of this range, it means an incredible number of times that Americans relied on the Second Amendment—not government getting there on time—to protect their inalienable rights.

President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy at the United States-Mexico border is ensuring pregnant migrants are not using their court dates in the U.S. to then deliver their children on American soil, thus securing them birthright citizenship. Currently, Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy has made sure that southern border crossers claiming asylum are returned to Mexico or their native Central American country while they await their asylum hearings in the U.S. The policy has prevented mass fraud where illegal aliens are released into the interior of the U.S. only to never show up for their asylum hearings and never leave the country. In the eyes of Washington politicians and lobbyists, President Donald Trump is the most dangerous person in the world. First, he’s a rich, white male who has run a generally conservative administration. Second, he’s impulsive and quick to take offense. And lastly, he’s genuinely making progress at taking down the Swamp. However, Trump’s progress shows just how deep the Swamp is -- because no matter how much he does, there’s always another monster crawling out. Some of the monsters are familiar. Republican Oklahoma senator James Lankford has followed in his predecessor’s footsteps by releasing an annual report on examples of inefficient and wasteful spending in the federal government.
