Joe Biden said that he would not seek a second term as president if his health deteriorates while in office.
A voter at a CNN town hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday night asked the former vice president, 77, if he would commit to serving only one term.
"No, I wouldn't do that, but, I tell you what, you're going to be able to make a judgment," Biden said. "And, by the way, the two youngest people on the stage now are me and Buttigieg," he joked, referring to 38-year-old former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, the youngest candidate in the race.

When a person's mental ability declines, they lose the ability to make decisions. So he will be senile and unable to resign. That is the problem.
Same reason we have those 80 and 90 year old people in Congress, the national old folks' home. Right, Nancy?

He could just hand the country off to his son, huncher. Nobody has ever said there would be anything wrong with that and it’s been fully looked into.

More than anything going on with the deranged dems right now, this "selling" point makes me laugh every time I hear it. You think his campaign managers would tell him to stop saying this. It is telling people, I am too old, and don't worry, I will step down after you elect me.

You are already there Spanky. Best hang up your campaign and call it a day. You are getting more and more painful to watch, and I am sure that the Foreign governments watching this are shaking their heads in baffled amazement that you are still running.
I actually blame the fact that you are still in the race on the ambitions of your wife. She really wants to be FLOTUS, in spite of the poor state of your health. That is not a loving wife, that is an ambitious and selfish one.

FAKE NEWS ALERT!
Loopy Joe DID NOT say "acuity" - - he said "accruity" - - mental accruity.
I wonder if his blunder would have been cleaned up - - if he were a conservative.

Joe, you've already served as President for four years. Don't you remember? You can go home now. Your mind isn't so good and you're just forgetting being elected as President. Remember. You ended all the wars and global warming too. You're a hero. Go home. Rest. Watch Murder She Wrote reruns.

Yes, but if we elect him and his mental acuity declines even further, how would he realize it? He claims (laughably) he wouldn´t run again, but we´d be stuck with him until the next election.
Joe wants America to create yet another monumental problem for itself, just so we can "enjoy" Joe as he is until the darkness comes. I think it already has.

From the looks of Biden these days it appears that his energy and mental acuity have already declined. So electing Biden would essentially be putting whoever is selected as Biden’s Vice-Presidential pick in the White House as President after an uncertain period. Chances are that person, who may well be unelectable in his or her own rite, will actually be selected by Barack Obama and other Democrat leaders, in return for their support, as the politician who they want to see as President after Biden most certainly bows out due to health concerns after a period of time as President. Clearly the three leading Democrat candidates, Sanders, Biden, and Bloomberg are too old to be President and successfully complete two four year terms without a big possibility of being replaced by another leftist or liberal Democrat who the American people would not elect in his or her own rite if that person was at the top of the Democrat ticket.

There's a plank to stand on Joe, yikes. "I'm in pretty good health, but, look, I guarantee you this: If anything changed in my health, making it incapable for me to fully exert all the energy and mental acuity that was needed to be done, then I give you my word: I would not run again," Biden said.
