Nashville, TN—A man's surprise birthday gift led to a surprise attack at a Broadway bar. Daniel Sprague was at The Stage bar on Broadway sporting a gift his wife gave him for his 50th birthday bash—a hat that says "Make 50 Great Again." The hat is styled to look like a "Make America Great Again" hat that supporters of President Donald Trump wear. "People were just coming up to me and, you know, just loving the little word play on the hat and taking pictures and wishing me happy birthday," Sprague told News4. However, one woman at the bar was not as amused.

Comments:

"How dare you!," screamed the tolerant and perfectly sane liberelle while pummeling the man's face with a sharp object of some sort.

Since he is a man and she is a woman, generally speaking he probably could have decked her with an open hand slap, but he was a cop and has a built in restraint. IF he had decked her, like many men would have, I guarantee she would sue saying it was his fault. No doubt several lawyers would be happy to take the case and depending on the judge the victim would be the aggressor. All things considered, she is lucky she isn't drinking supper through a straw today.

The violent and mentally-impaired are drawn to the Democratic Party like bugs to a porch light. There needs to be a reckoning in DC, people like Maxine Waters and her 'get in their faces' rhetoric need to be held responsible for acts like these.

These lie-beral thugs do these types of stunts over and over again, because they know people won't fight back (especially if it is a woman attacking a man), and, at worst, they are going to get a "slap on the wrist" punishment. People need to start fighting back and pummeling these cowardly thugs, and the courts need to then throw the book at them!!!!!

Nashville is a blue city in a red state. Since my birth there in the mid-Fifties the city has never, to my memory, had either a Republican mayor or congressman. Long ago Tennessee Democrats weren't terribly liberal, although that has changed. In any case most of my private school classmates between first and twelfth grade came from Republican families. While I was growing up there wasn't much political unpleasantness, but with the diversity of the newer arrivals in town, it's a much changed place from the one I left in '82. It is a meaner town. The man attacked at his own birthday party (where everyone was having a good time) had a cut on his cheek deep enough to hit his cheekbone, meaning that the woman must have hit him with a key in her fist. He is pressing charges. Her shocking attack should result in a jail term if the woman can be apprehended. I'm beginning to think that merely being a Democrat can lead some to mental instability and violent behavior. I have an authentic red MAGA hat myself, but never wear it in public because I also have a carry permit and don't want to have to shoot anyone crazy enough attack me over something political.
