The White House has identified and will soon part ways with the “anonymous” official behind a recently released book and a “resistance” focused editorial published in the New York Times, former U.S. attorney Joe diGenova claimed Monday morning.
DiGenova made his claim on WMAL’s “Mornings on the Mall,” but senior White House officials declined to comment on the topic when asked by the Daily Caller. In the book, “A Warning,” released in November, the anonymous official states there is a group of White House staffers actively hoping for President Donald Trump’s “downfall.”
Off with their heads!

Good to do, but should have been part of the housecleaning from day one.
But, with Reince Prebus as Chief of Staff, that wasn't going to happen, he was a sort of "we're all in this together", somewhat of a Uniparty sort of guy, plus, I am pretty sure that most folks on the Repub side in DC had no real concept how vicious, traitorous, criminal and unbounded the NeverTrump Repubs and vicious "we was robbed" Dem Trump haters were going to be.
Now that things are VERY clear, they can see that ANY Dem cannot be trusted, and probably anyone appointed under The Zero can't be trusted, they are all backstabbers.

Future new administrations should use this as the golden example of why when an opposing party takes over the White House, they need to purge 100% of the existing White House staff. Find them equivalent pay positions elsewhere in the government if they're permanent government personnel, but get them out of the White House and Executive Building. Otherwise, new administrations will spend years having to watch their backs against political traitors - yes, these people and all of the other leakers were political traitors. And make accepting that a White House position will be gone with the next administration a contingency on taking the job. Like him or hate him, what these people (the larger group of spiteful leakers) did must not be allowed to happen again.

Looks like he's putting "Obstruction of Injustice" into overdrive. Love it. And still not tired of all the winning.

Beg to disagree poster #10. They shouldn't be in jail, they are traitors and should be hanging from the gallows.

@7 I have never noticed a Democrat having a problem with clearing holdovers from a previous administration, usually on the first day.

I believed that from the beginning, Trump should have fired these Obama holdovers. But lately, I've been wondering if maybe keeping them around hasn't served a purpose.
We've not had a POTUS like Trump before. The man is fearless, and he is incredibly patient! It's breathtaking to watch him make his moves and it's possible that this one has been in the making for a long time now.
Recall when we had the last government shutdown. There was some federal law that said you couldn't have any Reductions in Force (layoffs) unless some RIF plan had been published first and some time period had passed. I've been wondering if that last shutdown allowed the Trump supporting leadership to create that plan so that when we have the next shutdown - and I expect that we will - the RIFs can take place all nice and legal.
I'm going to sit tight and enjoy these moments. While I look forward to more.

The State Department is full of petty tyrants who think they have the right to rule their fiefdoms. They're mostly leftists. So also the (in)Justice Department. But also all the other Departments. It brings to mind The Borg.
The real problem is the personnel resources for candidates for government positions. They all went to the same private schools, the same universities and law schools; they get into the top law firms then are picked up from there for government jobs and appointments, for courts including the Supreme Court. They all know each other, party with each other and cover each other's backs. (I remember Rush first exposing these nexuses) Then, the cycle continues for their children.
Therefore, it is almost impossible for a real "outsider" to make a way through the insider matrix, including those who are elected And this is why the anti-Trump plot was so thick and persistent. Cleaning out "the swamp" has proven a he&& of a lot more difficult than Trump ever realized. There is a paucity of honorable people in government... they are there, they are hard to spot.

No, #5, not the gallows.
No, #10, not jail.
Send them to Gitmo. There they will be forced to watch podcasts of Rush from the vast library of his dittocams. They will then be required to write essays about each one.
If they don't write, then they don't eat.
They are capable of being liberated. Like Clarence Thomas, they can be led to the light.
Oh, yes. Send Russ Douthat (NYT) along. He clearly lives in the dark.
Death is too good for them. They must hear, endlessly, from those who have escaped tyranny and fled to freedom. Drown them in the testimonies of the 65,000,000 deplorables who make this country work.

This is what the so-called "intelligence community" should be doing. - ferreting out and destroying leftist leakers, saboteurs, and spies. But the "intelligence community" is part of the Deep State, so get rid of them and hire loyal Americans to get the job done.
