Adam Schiff Warns Donald Trump Could Give
Alaska to the Russians If Not Impeached

Original Article

House Impeachment Manager and House Oversight Chairman Adam Schiff warned Monday that President Donald Trump might give Alaska to the Russians if he is not impeached. Schiff disagreed with the president’s lawyers, who argued that Trump’s actions were not criminal and should thus not be considered impeachable. He warned that they were setting a precedent that would only encourage Trump to pursue “unacceptable” actions if exonerated. “Trump could offer Alaska to the Russians in exchange for support in the next election,” he said. “Or decide to move to Mar-a-Lago personally and let Jared Kushner run the country, delegating to him the decision whether to go to war.”

You know, I'm really beginning to dislike this Schiff-head fellow...

This man is certifiable. Insane. Someone needs to organize an intervention. A long medicated stay in a lovely California Mental Health center would do him a world of good. And we could use a break from him too. Dear Lord he is pathetic, creepy and downright scary.

OK, now you know he needs to be removed from office: he is starting to mistake Trump for Hillary. Of course, I am not sure why he says this like its a bad thing, I would expect a Democrat to favor giving Alaska back to Russia. After all it was an evil, imperialistic Republican who swindled them out of it in the first place.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., made headlines around the world by tearing up a copy of President Trump's State of the Union once he finished his address Tuesday night, but that moment was just one example of how Pelosi made her disdain for the president known for all to see. From beginning to end, the tension between Trump and Pelosi was visible, starting with Trump appearing to ignore an offer for a handshake from the speaker. Seconds later, Pelosi broke what is traditional protocol for how presidents are introduced at the State of the Union. Rather than deliver the traditional flowery introduction in which House speakers say,

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., warned Wednesday that investigations into President Trump's dealings with Ukraine may not end after the Senate's afternoon vote in the impeachment trial, and that he may issue a subpoena for former national security adviser John Bolton. Bolton, who was said to have referred to dealings between the Trump administration and Ukraine as a "drug deal," received a request from House Democrats to testify during the impeachment inquiry. After the White House instructed him not to cooperate, however, House Democrats opted not to issue a subpoena and said the president's instruction -- based on an assertion of privilege --

The Senate overwhelmingly acquitted President Trump on both articles of impeachment against him Wednesday afternoon following a brief trial, in a historic rejection of Democrats' claims that the president's Ukraine dealings and handling of congressional subpoenas merited his immediate removal from office. All Democratic senators supported convicting the president of abuse of power and obstruction of justice, including swing-vote moderate Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.V., Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., and Doug Jones, R-Ala. The only party defection was on the abuse of power charge from Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah,

The Democratic Party was humbled by an app Monday night. A day later, it still didn’t have voting results for the 31st most populous state in the nation. Yet this is the same party that wants the American people to believe it can remake a $20 trillion economy with free college, free health care and a “green new deal” all without a hiccup. One major underlying theme proposed by all the Democrats running for president is competence — that they are all better suited for the job than President Trump, who can’t properly run his real estate business much less the country. Just ignore the low unemployment numbers, good economic growth

As the Senate is set to vote Wednesday on the removal from office of President Trump — with acquittal all but assured — Republicans are already plotting to expunge his impeachment if they retake the House. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have taunted that “impeachment will last forever,” but GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, in line to be speaker if Republicans regain the majority in the November election, doesn’t agree. “This is the fastest, weakest, most political impeachment in history,” McCarthy told The Post on Wednesday. “I don’t think it should stay on the books.” If McCarthy (R-Calif.) does indeed take the gavel from Pelosi (D-Calif.) in 2021,

The Senate is poised to acquit President Trump of two articles of impeachment Wednesday afternoon, bringing to a close a turbulent chapter that began nearly five months ago when the House launched a formal inquiry into his dealings in Ukraine. Some Republicans senators have said in recent days that the president’s seeking an investigation by Ukraine into former Vice President Joe Biden was inappropriate but that it also fails to rise to the level of the “high crimes and misdemeanors” standard warranting conviction and removal from office. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said Democrats are merely trying to overturn the results of the 2016 election with the partisan impeachment

In a fiery speech to the Congressional Black Caucus on Tuesday, Rev. William Barber — the black North Carolina pastor behind the Poor People's Campaign — compared the likely impeachment acquittal of President Donald Trump to Jim Crow-style "southern justice." He championed the impeachment of President Andrew Johnson, suggesting that this precedent should give hope to Democrats impeaching Trump in an election year. "The coordinated coverup we are witnessing as senators conspire to facilitate Trump’s obstruction of Congress is deeply troubling to anyone who knows the history of Southern courthouses, where district attorneys openly coordinated with all-white juries and corrupt judges to cover up acts of racial terror," Barber declared.

Wow, that was one hell of a State of the Union Address. President Trump seized the center with a powerful, patriotic and utterly centrist speech. And then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reinforced his message with her oh-so-symbolic ripping up of the text. What, other than channeling the alienation of the Democratic base from the great American center, was she thinking? This was the very best of Trump — generous, bipartisan (with a few barbs) and good-spirited. He not only got congressional Democrats to stand and cheer, but he also credited the legislators in the room for working together across party lines to do right by America.
