The Super Bowl LIV halftime show in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium saw pop megastar Jennifer Lopez, 50, swinging and hanging from a supersized stripper pole, a compilation of crotch-grabbing, and singer Shakira co-headlining. Shakira hit the stage first performing her list of hits — “She Wolf,” “Empire,” “Whenever, Wherever”– and even bust out a guitar, belted lyrics en español, and treated the 100 million worldwide viewers with a tongue wag in front of the camera. The best (only) good thing about these half time shows, is that they are long enough for everyone to get a bathroom break and a bite to eat. God forbide we might have to watch one!

I went to the grocery store at halftime. From the reviews I saw on another site, I didn't miss anything. It's too bad the organizers don't poll the folks shelling out thousands of dollars for tickets as to who they wish to be entertained by.

It was...awful, embarrassing, vulgar, pathetic...well, you get the picture. So much for female empowerment. Don’t look at my crotch, which I’m grotesquely thrusting at the camera...but, look at me! Make up your mind, ladies (using the term quite loosely here, obviously). I am ashamed of my gender. Clearly I’m not the target demographic here. And that makes me glad. Worst halftime show ever.

Watched the game and enjoyed it. The half time show......turned off the sound and started browsing online for some things I need after a minute or two of the miserable "music" of some woman, lame disco-esk beat, blehh music, unintelligable "singing" and strip show bumps and grinds. Never heard of the Zulu sounding one, heard of the other but couldn't name a song by Lopez if my life depended on it. Missed nothing of any value. Then the game started back.

I’m confused. We are supposed to be respected as women, taken seriously, not objectified, and ‘brought to the table as equals’. Well when you aggressively display your private parts while sliding down a pole in front of MILLIONS of people, you will be judged as tramps and hookers with little more on your privates than a thong and grabbing your crotch and bending over to show those privates....... it sends the wrong message to everyone, not just children. It was just disgusting. But we can’t judge. We can’t hold anyone accountable for their behavior because it’s ‘entertainment’ Let the children watch and get confused and then say you can be anything you want to be! Don’t let men objectify you! Did anyone notice the ‘pods’ the children were in were really cages?

Not having watched the SB, I just caught Lopez here on the interweb. The sex was the least of it. The 'music-like sounds', the dancing, and the Spanish dialog were as revolting as most of the NFL. There are and restaurants and taverns we no longer patronize because of the constant thud-thud of music from the numerous big screen TVs. Maybe it's to clear the tables faster for more customers? When did all this happen?

Treated the Super Bowl halftime like an extended timeout -- ate dinner, had a pit stop, touch base with family on the phone, then back to the game. I had no interest in watching J-Ho bounce around even when she had taut body and toned bubble butt (something like 25 years ago, wasn't it?).

Absolutely #12. I had no idea this person is 50 years old. Seems she is trying way too hard to retain her youth. I hope she isn't planning to spend too many more years working the poles or exposing herself in the process. In 10-20 years she will need assistance accessing the pole and an outfit that hides the diaper. Hope they're not planning to hire her for the 2040 Superbowl. I doubt too many viewers would want to sit through that.

President Trump is opening 15 urban campaign field offices in an aggressive bid to improve his performance with black voters, who for decades have been an overwhelmingly Democratic constituency. Sleek and situated in retail shopping districts to generate foot traffic, this unique collection of regional “community centers” is a critical component of the Trump campaign’s multimillion-dollar strategy to double in 2020 the 8% support the president received from black voters nearly four years ago. Sanders said it was “something that we would take into consideration,” while Bloomberg — normally considered pro-Israel — said that while the embassy could not be moved again, the U.S. should have extracted concessions from Israel in return.

Washington - President Donald Trump pushed back Wednesday against criticism that his administration isn’t doing enough to meet the coronavirus threat, as lawmakers called for giving disease fighters much more money than the $2.5 billion the White House has requested. A day after he sought to minimize fears of the virus spreading widely across the U.S., Trump prepared to hold a White House press conference with experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He tweeted that the CDC, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and others in the administration are “doing a great job with respect to Coronavirus!” and accused some news outlets of “panicking markets.”
