Here’s another black eye for the Justice Department’s Obama-era leadership: The case against Gen. Michael Flynn is in full collapse.
Federal prosecutors just backed down from their demand that Flynn — President Trump’s first, short-lived national security adviser — serve jail time for lying to FBI investigators, telling a court Wednesday that probation would be a “reasonable” sentence.
In fact, Justice had long wanted leniency, since Flynn cooperated fully with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigations. But last month it started seeking up to six months of confinement — mainly because he’s no longer taking responsibility for his crime.

So why, if the DOJ is under Trump and Barr, is this travesty continuing?

I’m still waiting for all of these “good people” in the FBI to step forward and put this thing right. Ain’t gonna happen. I suspect that outfit is rotten from top to bottom.

#4, I ask the same question. Why hasn't Barr requested an investigation to see what happened? I get chills when I think of Wray as Director of the FBI. He needs to go. He was recommended by Rosenstein and can not be trusted. Get someone that is clean in there.

How does anybody know Barr is not investigating any of this. He is not required to go public regarding investigations. I have a feeling that something is coming and it is going to be big. It takes time to make a case that can be prosecuted. Let's relax and wait a bit.

Barr is working in an environment where any prosecution must be iron-clad and foolproof. Even then, he understands that everything he does will be refuted by lies, and that the lies will be supported through the talking points network, embellished and sanctified by the media. Justice pursued will be proclaimed by the left as Fascist persecution. Barr must pick his battles and do the extra work required to anticipate and refute the lies that will emanate from the progressive pit. If he is a good and courageous man he will take up the challenge, understanding that if he does not, normals will understand that justice in America is truly dead.

You have to wonder how a federal agency could ever sink this low. How could agents do this? How could senior agency officials sanction this? Why was there no one in the leadership who put a stop to all this, once they became aware of it?
I guess the answer is that they are all corrupt. They were selected for their jobs because they are useful idiots, who have no morals or ethics. Oaths of office are just a technicality, required to get the job, but meaningless. Swamp, deep state, democrats...Whatever we call them, they are all the worst of human beings. I am hoping that there are some, in the lower ranks, who despise this and will someday be able to restore some professionalism, ethics, and honesty to the agencies.

Flynn spoke to FBI agents without witnesses or an attorney present. Flynn pleaded "guilty". He has a problem now. Hubris...

Can I just say first that I LOVE Sydney Powell? She has done more for Flynn in the time she has been his attorney than the swamp creatures who used to represent him every did. All they did was Hoover his wallet for their own gain. I want Flynn exonerated and that Judge slapped down or tossed off the bench. The General did not deserve the legal treatment he got, and if those other high priced Call Boys could not see that or stop it, they deserve disbarment. I would put Powell up with F. Lee Bailey in his heyday or Mark Levin as the kind of attorney you want fighting for you.
This case, Manafort, and Roger Stone should provide ample evidence of the need to rein in the FBI and their creative writing forms they use to make their cases. If recording and video is good enough for local LE, it should be good enough for the Feds as well.

As for myself I believe at least 50% of Americans and at least 70% of all government workers are registered democrats. I hope that they are able to wake up to the true facts that the
Democrat Party is dedicated to and voted in their DNC to follow the tenets proclaimed by the Communist Party of the U.S. of America. If they do not awaken soon America will fall into the clutches of Marxist Communism of the One World Government which they and their Rinos' brag of having been working for this takeover for the past 70 years according to Sen. McCain when he bragged about helping the Marxist Communist democrats defeat the removal of the Marxist Communists democrats ACA.

Now? As with the entire Russia collusion hoax, we knew what was happening to Flynn as it happened. We finally have an AG with a mind.
