Revenge, the saying goes, is a dish best served cold, but John Bolton’s strike back at President Trump after being fired as National Security Adviser is the hottest thing in the news today. According to a report in The New York Times, Trump told Bolton “that he wanted to continue freezing $391 million in security assistance to Ukraine until officials there helped with investigations into Democrats including the Bidens.” Nor is this simply the Times trying to rally the dispirited pro-impeachment troops for one last charge in their multiply discredited impeachment case: Fox News reported that “Bolton’s representatives made clear he was not denying the Times’ claim

It's amusing that some of these former hotshots like Bolton and Tillerson get fired. I wonder if they thought they'd be able to steamroll over 'the jerk' or 'idiot' Trump. He always gets the last laugh, doesn't he?

wanting to and doing it are 2 entirely different things.
The money was released without the end users ever knowing it was paused absent a Politico story.
Their was no investigation.
Case Closed!

This supposed "bombshell" is just Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford all over again. The NY Slimes released this on the orders of Schiff and Pelosi. They know they're losing, just like with Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, so they've done something desperate.
Lord, these people are scum.

I can remember many executive meeting conversations when one of us expressed a desire to do much worse things to one of our managers because of a corporate issue that was causing us grief. Thinking about what you would like to do and doing it are two VERY different things.

Bolton is just marketing his book that conveniently is being published now. Always follow the money. Disgruntled ex-employees tend to always behave this way.

One, we're talking about a report from the NYT on a book, not yet released from security review, where nothing is permitted to be released. Therefore cannot be corroborated. Two, we're supposed to believe what the NYT or the leaker claims the book says. Three, Then comes the fact it is Trump said vs. what Bolton said. Who do you believe if they are in conflict?
We're to early to be name-calling.

So then why didn't he come forward while this was being deliberated with the house? I say "no way" with bringing all of this new information or testimony with the Senate. Deliberate on what you have in front of you. Enough said.

Ok Johnny B let's try your assertion on for size, let's go all in......so what?. What Trump wanted to do, felt like doing matters how? Are you suggesting his thoughts matter but his actions do not? Whoa that's some crazy right there, spend about two minutes thinking where that might lead. Aid was not withheld no investigation took place no Ukrainian was pressured.
And by the way John, weren't' you the guy with the itchy trigger finger? What if we did everything you thought we should do?

Why does Bolton have any credibility from either Democrat or Republican party when the Democrats voted him out of the UN position he coveted.
President Trump Removed him because of his unstable hawk like positions on issues from North Korea to the Middle East.
His book will make the publishers happy but few others.
He will be regular on CNN by the end of February.

I heard this morning Bolton is not well to do. Therefore the Dems knew what would be his hot button ... Yep, money talks.
I hope his better angel will do the right thing and I hope he's taking notes writing and taking names. Because when all is said and done that will be the book that sells. The one about how the Left tried to make up a conversation he had with Trump and try to hijack the votes of 63 million people.

I absolutely do not believe this story.
You may not agree with Bolton's style or foreign policy, but he was (is) an honorable man. He would never backstab his President or allowed himself to be played by the Democrats for subversive purposes---the Impeachment of President Trump.
He would be forever remembered as a traitorous snake.

John Bolton has negative credibility.
The Democrats kept him out of the UN position
President Trump removed him for his hawk like positions on North Korea and Middle East.
Does a fictional book about his exploits in high positions make any difference in the impeachment clown show?

Nobody ever like Bolton, who seems unable to get along with anybody. There is a mess everywhere Bolton goes, and has been. I am definitely done with Bolton.

Does anyone in the media understand that if President Trump did everything this group has accused him of doing to Ukraine, none of it is a violation of his oath or his presidency? This is small potatoes stuff and John Bolton is the smallest potato of all.

I don't for a nanosecond believe this latest "bombshell!!" It is a steaming load of bovine feces dropped because the leftists are losing the impeachment argument. Why, otherwise, would it be released on the very day that the President's legal team begins their defense in earnest???
