Dem impeachment witness Vindman

3rd day of Trump's trial

As the third day of the ongoing impeachment trial of President Trump wrapped up in the Senate chamber, most of the drama was elsewhere -- with one witness for the Democrats accusing a Republican senator of "defamation" and "slander" after she questioned his patriotism and implicated him in a scheme to take down Trump from inside the White House. The off-field spat began Thursday evening on Twitter, when Tennessee GOP Sen. Marsha Blackburn quoted the commanding officer of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman as saying that Vindman was a "political activist in uniform.”

Vinmn’s legal team jumped on Blackburn’s tweet (see article) immediately!!!!

Sure, but everyone knows Vindman is a traitor. It's obvious from his behavior and that's ALL YOU NEED to convict him of anything the rats/media want to convict him of. That is all Alex brought to his 'testimony' so the worm should not be surprised if someone's opinion of him becomes the new public record of his life. It's called a boomerang, Vindman.

I hope Lt Col "Oh, say can you see" Vindaman (who probably was the original "leaker" of the July 25 phone call) is no longer working at the White House. I'd prefer that he was sent on a permanent tour of duty to a remote military outpost at the North or South Pole, or some desolate Pacific Island only visited by a cargo ship every three months. With lousy cell phone and internet service.

During my ancient service in the USAF, 1956-1964, I was told that it was a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice to criticize a member of Congress. (I was asleep after working an overnight shift in the Emergency Room, and my Sgt, a Maine resident, brought his legislator - Ed Muskie - into my room. I threw them out, and I was impolite to them.) If the UCMJ still says that, the fat Ukranian Vidman, should be court martialed.

This guy reminds me of some other 'heroes' of the Democrat party. One mishandled grenades that were to be disposed of and earned a purple heart and later a Congress seat. The other blew up a rice bunker, got rice stuck in his butt, and also earned a purple heart. Then, in uniform, he went to advise the North Vietnamese in Paris while we were still at war! Oh, yeah, they're 'heroes' all right! If Vindman is in their company, I would question him, too!

’ve never understood Mitt Romney, (Snip) Once the subject turns to politics, law, and morality, the things Romney says and his actions don’t quite match, or his reasoning doesn’t cohere. Unable to understand him, I’ve found him impossible to believe. And on two subjects in particular it has been impossible to reconcile his words and actions: abortion and Donald Trump. Exploring the first can help us illuminate his approach to the latter. In 1994, seeking to defeat Ted Kennedy, Romney argued vigorously, but implausibly, that he was as much or more pro-choice than Ted Kennedy. He and his wife went to a Planned Parenthood fundraiser and donated $150 to

Vindman was removed from his job at the National Security Council on Friday and escorted from White House grounds. (Snip) Vindman’s lawyer said that there was “no question in the mind of any American” that his client had been fired for testifying (Snip) However, there may also have been an independent reason: he was suspected of being a leaker.

The U.S. Treasury Department has started turning over confidential banking records related to Hunter Biden in response to requests from Senate investigative committees. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson asked the treasury in November for "suspicious activity reports," banking alerts involving money laundering or fraud, related to Biden and his associates. A spokeswoman for Sen. Ron Wyden, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, told Yahoo News that the department has already started turning over records. The Wyden spokeswoman criticized the Treasury Department for "rapidly complying" with the requests, calling the Republican-led Senate investigation of Biden a "sideshow.”

Mitt “Pierre Delecto” Romney is enjoying an outpouring of “strange new respect” from the media today after voting with the Democrats to impeach President Trump. Thanks to Mitt, the Democrats get to claim that their impeachment show trial was “bipartisan.” Anyone who has followed Mitt’s career could have seen this betrayal coming. This isn’t the first time he’s behaved like a bitter sanctimonious weasel when it comes to Donald Trump. Four years ago, Romney used his clout as the Republican Party’s 2012 nominee to gather the media to Salt Lake City with great fanfare to hear his thoughts on the 2016 race just days before the crucial Michigan primary.

It’s been a great week! In Iowa, the party that claims to be devoted to “science” and “technology” demonstrated that it couldn’t count to 10. Trump delivered a triumphant State of the Union address, highlighting all he’s done to make America great again — and attacking previous administrations for failing to do so. It was such a bravura performance that when he was finished, Speaker Nancy Pelosi childishly tore up his speech from the podium in a shocking breach of decorum. Hours after the president’s address, he was scheduled to be “acquitted” in the Senate impeachment trial — if that’s the right word for a dismissal of the most absurd charges ever brought

In an upcoming paper, scientists will share the results of growing the fungus on the International Space Station. Scientists have known about this fungus, and similar extremophile organisms that can thrive on radiation, since at least 2007. The variety found in Chernobyl “can decompose radioactive material such as the hot graphite in the remains of the Chernobyl reactor,” Nature said in 2007. The fungus grows toward the hottest and most radioactive places, like phototropism but for deadly toxins. How can this fungus process radiation in this way? Because it has tons of very dark melanin
