Are you one of the millions of Sane-Americans who can't get too worked up about Donald Trump's impeachment? It's impossible to avoid news of the Dems' Big Sham, which is so "exciting" that CNN spent hours on Monday running a never-ending picture-in-picture livestream of the empty Senate chamber. If that doesn't get your blood pumping, what could? Democrats can't come right out and say they're impeaching Trump just for being Trump, even though that's exactly what they're doing. So they held this big investigation, and found that yes indeed, President Trump had committed foreign policy. They can't actually impeach him for that, either, so instead they impeached him for defending himself against

One thing that does cause me some concern is our nation works great with at least a two party system. If/when the Democrat party slides completely down the hole they're digging, it will morph into another Communist organization. Something no American wants anything to do with. One thing for sure, the coming days won't be boring. Keep powder dry, eyes open and be ready.

This applies to almost everything the MSM says and does. When they criticize Trump, just ask yourself what their reaction would be if 0bama had done the same thing. You always have your answer.

While Shifty Shift and the other House Managers drone on and on about process and protocol they're putting the sleeping pill business into a slump. I'm sure the Dim senators are just thrilled with the antics of their junior members from the House and are offering up their sufferings to their master Lucifer. It appears the seditionists are hell-bent on using every second of their 24 hours to spout the lies upon which their "case" is built. If past is prologue, the presentation by the President's lawyers will be brief and mortal. Pat Cipollone took only 10 minutes for his opening statement. After three days of Shift's verbal waterboarding senators from both wings of the Uniparty will overwhelmingly welcome sanity and logic standing in the well. After the endurance trial inflicted by Shifty Shift, how many will be willing for vote for witnesses and new evidence to be submitted? Especially if it means unending hours of Shift? I'm tuning out until its Cipollone turn. MAGA-KAG: Short, simple and to the point.

Utah has become the 19th — and most conservative — state in the U.S. to ban "conversion therapy" for minors. The widely discredited practice, aimed at changing a patient's sexual orientation or gender identity, is now formally barred in the state after the new rule took effect late Tuesday. A spokesperson for Republican Gov. Gary Herbert, who directed licensing regulators to make the change, confirmed the move to NPR on Wednesday. "We want to thank Governor Herbert and his administration for not allowing this issue to be politicized," Troy Williams, the executive director of Equality Utah, said at a Wednesday news conference celebrating the news. "He saw how polarizing this was

Shortly before President Trump flew back home from Davos on Wednesday, he opened the attack on Democrats Jerrod Nadler and Adam Schiff during an impromptu press conference. Trump blasted the two Democrat leaders (and impeachment managers), while saying he'd love to visit the Senate trial. Like Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Trump is reluctant to call on new witnesses to testify. However, he said, he is more than willing to make sure one new person visits the proceedings: him. "I'd love to go, wouldn't that be great?" he said. "Sit right in the front row and stare at their corrupt faces, and I'd love to do it." As for "Jerrold Nadler,"

Democrats know that Trump won’t be convicted in the U.S. Senate. Yet, we’ve seen them push for a fight over witnesses that could very easily extend the trial longer than necessary at a time they really don’t want to be pulling their candidates off the campaign trail. So, what’s their strategy exactly? Is it about pulling their radical and less electable senators away from early voting states and clearing the way for the supposedly more electable Joe Biden to get the advantage? But, if the Democrats insist on a whole slate of witnesses, the possibility of Republicans calling Hunter Biden,

David Hogg has been in the public eye since the horrendous shooting at his high school in Parkland, Florida. A crazed student, whose violent proclivities had been ignored by school officials and law enforcement, entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and shot and killed 17 students and teachers and wounded 17 more. Ever since then, Hogg and his then newly minted activist classmates have been in support of removing guns from law-abiding people. Now Hogg is back from his hidey-hole at Harvard to proclaim the Virginia gun rally a "white supremacist" affair. "VA is in a state of emergency because white supremacists and nazi’s

Rallygoers at the Virginia capital pro-Second Amendment Lobby Day have been on high alert for several days leading up to the event and warning one another that infiltrators from Antifa or other anti-gun groups could be in their crowd posing as pro-gun, but stirring up trouble and violence. An incident occurred at the Richmond rally that has some people wondering if they've just discovered one of these opposition plants. The video below shows a thin man wearing army-style clothing and claiming to be a libertarian while encouraging someone who is speaking to "start a revolution right now" and "hop that fence and kill that guy."

One of the most famous lines about waiting is naturally enough from the movie Casablanca: "And so a tortuous, round-about refugee trail sprang up. Paris to Marseilles, across the Mediterranean to Oran [in Algeria], then by train or auto or foot across the rim of Africa to Casablanca in French Morocco. Here the fortunate ones through money or influence or luck might obtain exit visas and scurry to Lisbon, and from Lisbon to the New World. But the others wait in Casablanca, and wait...and wait...and wait." Waiting for disaster is often worse than "getting it over with." Two years ago Dr. Peter Ward of the U.S. Geological Survey

“The very concept of objective truth is fading out of the world,” wrote George Orwell in a 1943 essay, Looking Back on the Spanish War. “Lies will pass into history.” A truer thing was never said about the current omnipresence of the Lie. Of course, everybody lies. That the vast majority of politicians lie, almost as a matter of principle, is common knowledge. But I had not grasped until relatively late that the Lie—in majuscule—had become so pervasive that it could be said to constitute a public if unofficial institution. Orwell said that truth had ceased to exist in 1936, an exaggeration made for emphasis,

The Florida Legislature’s annual session is barely under way, and the National Rifle Association’s Marion Hammer already is angry. That’s a good sign. It means Sen. Tom Lee of Thonotosassa is headed in the right direction with modest legislation that would require background checks of more gun buyers. The proposed requirements should be more robust, but they may reflect what is politically possible at the moment and they would be an improvement over the status quo. Lee, who has an independent streak, was handed the unenviable assignment by Senate President Bill Galvano to come up with a response to the August mass shootings at a Walmart in El Paso,

Could it be this bad? Lee Smith argues that the Iran nuclear deal was actually part of a deal to make Iran the new regional power in the Middle East. (Snip) If you flip political sides, the Democrats' accusations against Trump are equally bad. He is variously portrayed as a stooge for Russia, the henchman of Putin, a blackmailer of Ukraine to frame Joe Biden, or the provocateur of war with Iran to distract from his own impeachment. Whether such crimes have actually been committed by either side can be debated; what is undeniable is the animus of mutual accusations. The blood-feuds of the old world are here;

Every school in New Zealand will this year have access to materials about the climate crisis written by the country’s leading science agencies – including tools for students to plan their own activism, and to process their feelings of “eco-anxiety” over global heating. The curriculum will put New Zealand at the forefront of climate change education worldwide; governments in neighbouring Australia and the United Kingdom have both faced criticism for lack of cohesive teaching on the climate crisis. The New Zealand scheme, which will be offered to all schools that teach 11 to 15 year-old students, will not be compulsory, the government said.
