Nearly half of registered voters surveyed recently said the U.S. is not very prepared or not prepared at all to secure the 2020 elections, according to poll results published Tuesday. Conducted by the Marist Poll in partnership with NPR and PBS’s “NewsHour,” the nationwide survey sought opinions from voters roughly 10 months left until November’s general election. “Do you think the U.S. is very prepared, prepared, not very prepared or not prepared at all to keep this November’s elections safe and secure?” respondents were asked.(Snip) Eighty-five percent of Republicans polled said that the country is either prepared or very prepared to keep the elections secured

10 out of 10 voters are ill-prepared to answer the stupid polling question, having no actual knowledge on how a ballot box can be compromised or how likely such an occurrence would be.

7 of 10 voters don't know how to change a tire. We need a tire changing tax. Mandated government tire insurance. And anyone who pots out of the government tire insurance will pay an additional fine. Our goal is unified and free tire changing for everyone, especially illegal aliens.

The only way this problem will be fixed is to have a Republican majority in the house and senate, and Trump in the White House. Pass a voter qualification law that requires photo ID, restricted to one vote by living US Citizens

If President Trump proposed to fix the insecure election situation do you think that the leftist and liberal Democrats would support that, give us a break!

I trust my local polling place and the poll volunteers. We are too small a community to bother with and most of the volunteers are neighbors I know. I trust the county because my kid works at the courthouse and would have heard of any chicanery.
Thats the end of my trust. From there it all goes to strangers; probably democrats. I bet in my entire adult life I have never had a vote counted.

Well, if you mean secure it from illegal aliens and dead people voting, I have to agree. If you mean secure it from corrupt vote counters, I also agree.
If you mean secure it from "the Russians", this is just the BS story that the left has been telling for three years, primarily to cover up the murder of Seth Rich.

We can begin by instituting voter ID.

Voter Photo ID, end motor voter , and paper ballots. I still maintain that an absentee ballot require proof that you were absent, i.e., caregiver signature, notarized proof from the location of polls, etc.

This type of poll is so bad because it's designed to get a result the sponsoring media can use to fit a particular agenda. Not I nor you nor the guy behind the tree has any idea how, where or in what way our elections can be secured. So, we all have opinions, but our opinion is meaningless because we are not fully informed as to what "prepared" specifically means. And since our opinion is of no value in this poll, the poll is of no value, too.

If only 30% of Democrats say our elections are secure, there should be minimal resistance to pushing through thumbs dipped in special ink (good enough for Iraq, good enough for Baltimore), ideally also with paper ballots. Because as sure as the sun rises in the East, the Dems will do all they can to steal the election from the 85% of Classy Republicans who are OK with their votes nullified through fraud. (The Dems are also very energized thanks to their one-eyed master hammering away with "Orange Man Bad" 24/7; bet your bottom dollar on high turnout on their side, plus all the extra votes the GOP lets them throw in the pot, give or take millions of Motor Voter illegal aliens.)
