Democrats took over both chambers of the Virginia legislature in November, and as expected, they’re pushing anti-gun laws through as quickly as they can.On Thursday, lawmakers in the state Senate passed an the first pair of bills in a wave of gun-control legislation that is set to come up for votes. One bill would restore the state’s previous one-handgun-a-month rule, while the second would allow local governments to ban guns in public buildings, parks and at permitted events — including political protests. The vote was straight party line, 21-19.

States cannot ban 1a or 2a rights no matter what the reason, since they are both granted at the federal level. This should be appealed to the US Supreme Court. Also, the feds need to take a look at the so-called "credible threats" to see if they are real. If the pro-gun rally needs to be postponed until the issue is resolved, then so be it.

I'm pretty sure this was addressed in NOLA during/post Katrina. Either way, I have heard word of a false flag operation proposed for this demonstration.

When any legislative action is passed strictly on party lines. Be it 0bamcare, impeachment whatever, great care should be exercised and haste avoided in its implementation. As the Republican Party is clearly the nation's majority mainstream party this is especially applicable to Democrat actions. What is going on is exactly the opposite.

The Marxist Communist Democrats breaking the back of our Constitution every chance they get.
Disarm the people so we can overthrow America's constitution and republic government and not have to worry about armed citizen militias coming to arrest us for treason against the constitution and Bill of Rights.

There could be a worst case scenario and the Governor will blame it on the gun owners who couldn't carry their guns. What a place for terrorist mayhem.

Pretty sure any gun legislations they pass will go to the Supreme Court, but they are rushiung things through hoping that by the time the Supreme court hears it the guns will be gone or the war started.

Let the Revolution begin. It is proper that the seditious enemies of the Republic attack the home of Washington. Will we resign to the Progressive onslaught by a corrupt Judiciary and State Governments or will we take a walk and in a show of overwhelming power force there SURRENDER. George Soros is to be arrested by our Justice Department for fomenting and funding political violence against the Republic. North Virginia you will have to answer for your betrayal.

All across the country you can thank the sniveling moneybags Bloomberg for the kind of mischief and interference in the campaign seasons, buying elections, seats, partnering, it seems, with that other noxious person, Soros & Co.
We're praying for peace. But we're praying that people are going to get involved in a positive way.
How about some enlarged posters of Northam from his yearbooks, in "Black face"? Here's your Governor!!! And show the good doctor with his scalpel in one hand and in the other, holding a baby by the feet.

Ignore this unconstitutional order.
If this is going to be our Boston Massacre, which triggered the American Revolution, then so be it.
They have to be stopped.

I smell a setup. I predict Antifa will be given free rein, and the police will be told to stand down.

Clearly an infringement on the right to keep and bear arms. Clearly unconstitutional.
This is PRECISELY what "shall not be infringed" was intended to protect against.
