No matter what the U.S. Senate does, President Donald Trump will be "impeached forever," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told ABC's "This Week. "Let's be optimistic about the future, a future that will not have Donald Trump in the White House one way or another," Pelosi told host George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. "Ten months we will have an election if we don't have him removed sooner. But, again, he'll be impeached forever." Pelosi said she plans to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate this week, and she also explained her delay: Well, what I did say is, I would be consulting with my members

Nancy delayed the impeachment articles since it takes a long time to accumulate and activate all the blackmail against Senators obtained from the NSA, FBI, IRS, CIA (ala Chief Justice Roberts).

Nonsense. It's a Bill of Impeachment. First order of business for the new Republican led House in January 2021 should be to repeal of this entirely bogus, political hit on our Constitution.

That was the point. President D. Trump *
Believe me.... they will beat that drum through the election and declare the Senate aquital a republican coverup. When he wins re-election, he will be declared an illegitimate impeached president who won with Ukranian interference. When Trump wins, there will be a meltdown of epic proportions, rioting in the streets and wholesale civil disobedience. If, G-d forbid, a democrat wins, the resulting democrat payback will be epic.

I posted the following comment after an article on Lcom on November 14th, 2019. Anyone want next weeks Lotto numbers?
“ I think the Rats and the Lying Media will keep this clown show up until the vote for impeachment, knowing full-well the Senate will toss it. But, they've got what they wanted for their upcoming campaigns, using the words ''the impeached president'' fifty billion times leading up to the election. Hmm, kinda makes me think they're mainly looking for payback for a REAL impeached president, the stain making Clinton perv. ”

I think you and your son will go down in history for corruption and stealing the American people’s hard earned tax dollars. As President Trump so aptly put, “I caught them all!”

Being impeached doesn't seem to have hampered Bill Clinton's post-presidency career much. Besides, after Trump leaves office, he'll go back to building hotels and golf resorts (if the Democrat AGs and DAs quit filing specious lawsuits against him). I doubt he wants the "elder statesman" gig anyway.

Does this mean she is finally waking up and smelling reality? Acceptance of defeat is a start Pelosi. I would say your legacy is the one in trouble, not his. Talk to Meghan Kelly about that if you need more explanation.

You impeached yourself by eschewing all principles, morals, ethics, and instead embracing corruption, criminality, and hatred. You will remembered forever for this illegitimate act, Nancy. She's correct in that President Trump will be remembered for being impeached but not removed, and the impeachment will be remembered as an attempted coup. The House will be smeared with shame for this act not for decades, but for hundreds of years. Nothing this House does will be remembered, except this one act of idiocy.

They have to be get rid of him because he's doing too good of a job. Democrats need complaining voters. Trump has made most people more prosperous. Democrats need a lousy economy to win, And when they win because because of it, they don't make it any better, in fact make it worse. Dems are also edgy because of all the underhandedness that's being uncovered, with a lot of names yet to be exposed.

Levying false charges and having it proven in a Senate Trial is hardly what the Law calls Impeached forever. And holding secret hearings behind closed doors to plot a Coup is also TREASON. But appearing in public drunk and pilled out on camera to address it all isn't helping the CAUSE much . It is for these reasons I predict Trump in a Historic Landslide in November and a bloody Civil War by Christmas. Start shopping now for your "Party Favors".

Not if the Senate moves to dismiss. When a person is charged with committing a non-crime, say getting drunk in his own home, the defense lawyer moves to dismiss... Basically, sure he was drunk BUT that isn't a crime in your own home; no law against that. Charge gets summarily dropped.
What are the charges? He went to court to contest a subpoena? He did. That's his right. Charge dismissed.
Abuse of power regarding the timing of funding aid to Ukraine? He did. That's also his right. Charge dismissed.
Done.

First President to be impeached without evidence of a crime. First impeachment where Senate party make-up makes conviction is unlikely, especially without strong evidence of a crime. First Speaker to be afraid to send the Articles to the Senate because she knows they are too weak to result in a conviction.

Unfortunately the result of Pelosi’s remark that President Trump will be “impeached forever”, is going to have a long-term adverse effect for every future President, who will now be impeached anytime the House of Representatives is controlled by the opposing political party. Such impeachment being based upon bogus impeachment articles resulting from political policy disputes, or deliberative and discretionary happenings that are bound to occur during any presidential term in office, that are well within any President’s inherent constitutional authority. That can only hurt the country, but to the Democrats the end justifies the means they use, fraudulent or otherwise.

All Pelosi has managed to do is reduce the seriousness of impeachment to the level of a sit-com laugh track. Meaningless. Designed to fool people into believing their actions had some broader meaning. The dems couldn't convince a single republican to support their dog and pony show, and somehow the American people are supposed to take their actions seriously?

Few here can recall anything about Andy Johnson except he was impeached, and acquitted by a single vote. Like Johnson and Clinton, Trump will have some asterisk by his name to connote he was impeached (accused). And so what?
Nancy gives away the game, namely that in ten months there will be an election, and the UNIPARTY hope is to have PDT gone at the hands of the people themselves. The UNIPARTY will pull out all the stops, including more accusations, more innuendo, and whatever else they can conjure to reduce PDT's numbers. They will fight him at the convention. They will fight him in the '20 election campaign. And expect to see a well-financed third-party "moderate conservative" ticket, not to mention the Libertarians and the rest. This is far from over. Impeachment is just so yesterday, and it makes a great bloody shirt to wave around.

Impeached just means accused and tried. And unless the "Progressive" effort to roll back Due Process into Lynch Mobs and Witch Hunts succeeds, then being impeached doesn't matter unless one is subsequently found guilty.
But the "Progressive" mindset has tried, multiple times, to establish rumor, allegation, and innuendo as proof of guilt (but only against their adversaries, not themselves). For which I no longer hope for a future of mutual tolerance with them, but the absolute obliteration of that evil.

There will always be an asterisk next to this 'impeachment', since the president was not accused of 'high crimes and misdemeanors' and was denied due process that is available to all other American citizens by the Democratic smear committees. The Senate needs to dismiss the articles immediately upon review, and rap the knuckles of the House in the process. Pelosi can use the excuse of her obviously raging dementia, but the other House would-be up members should be censured by their fellows. Meanwhile the executive branch conspirators who started this mess should end up in jail.

Well maybe or maybe you rats started something that quickly grew out of your control. Now wouldn't it be fun Nan, if your impeachment farce opened a can of worms that put Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, your son and YOU in jail? How 'historic' would that be? The simple, obvious facts are already out there. Millions of citizens know about them. The ONLY thing missing is a resolve within the Beltway to ENFORCE the law. Perhaps the long tradition of you corrupt public officials getting away with murder in some cases will continue, but what if it does not? Stranger things have happened recently, like Donald Trump being elected President. That REALLY wasn't supposed to happen, but here he is stronger than ever. Just one real judge, A.G. and a prosecutor or two and your family is in life changing trouble, so enjoy your moment.
