The nation’s most powerful law enforcement agency is in shambles. Following a series of internal investigations, in addition to extensive reporting on the misconduct of former top officials, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is suffering a crisis in confidence from the very people it has a sworn duty to protect: the American public.(Snip)
Unfortunately, the man now in charge of the FBI, Christopher Wray, is not the right man to clean up the rot left behind by his predecessor. Wray’s filing this week to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court is another example of why President Trump needs to find a replacement for the nation’s top G-man and to do

"Wray clearly does not recognize the severity of the problem before him."
OR he knows exactly and recognizes the impact it will have and is deliberately minimizing it.
EITHER is unacceptable. Wray's suggested fix will do NOTHING to prevent future deluded figures in the FBI from acting just as they did this time. He is alleging that people like Comey acted out of ignorance of proper procedure. The HEAD of the FBI doesn't know the proper procedure? WHO is going to tell him? Wray's fixes are insane and pathetic.
New law is required to remove such decisions from the FBI. For certain investigations, like those of political figures, they MUST brief the president and the gang of 8 BEFORE proceeding AND receive signed authorization from all these people before continuing. By his authorization the President and the Gang, elected officials, are assuming responsibility for it.
Agents pursuing such investigations must be made aware of the authorizations and refuse to proceed without it. To do so should be a criminal offense.

Not so! I have already documented just some of the big changes that Fey Wray has already put in place - -
• Better quality toner for the copy machines
• Plush, long-lasting carpets in the building's corridors
• A ban on whistling in public areas
• New procedures for filling out forms under the old procedures
• More comfortable footwear for security guards
• And much, much more
Fey Wray is THE MAN!

Wray needs to go for insulting the intelligence of the American people for this lip service response. This was not a training issue. If he thinks it is, he is not the man to fix it.

I sincerely doubt the FBI can be fixed. I believe it is pretty much rotten from top to bottom. The bulk of the staff are protected by civil service rules and overwhelmingly democrat in their political leanings. I keep hearing about all the 'hardworking, honest folks' serving there. If that is the case, why didn't one of these 'patriots' blow the whistle on the rampant abuses taking place? Even more depressing is the fact that the rot extends to most of the federal government including the national weather service, epa, park service, etc.

They cannot police themselves. Time to clean house.
For goodness sake, they are STILL withholding records from the early 1960's on the events of 11/22/63 for CYA purposes!!

Their term 'lack of candor' tells me a lot about our justice departments. At least call it what it is, for cripes sake.

Wray's job is to paint over the termite damage and pretend that everything is OK while the Enemedia and the Uniparty and the FBI, CIA and other corrupt bureaucrats work to get rid of Trump.
And then they can go back to business as usual.

I agree #12, the smarmy conceited smirk Wray had during his confirmation hearing told me he was no better than Strok.

When Herr Mueller was appointed FBI director, we were told he was a man of utmost integrity.
When Herr Mueller's 10 year term was extended by the Kenyan Klown, we were told he was a man of utmost integrity.
When Coward Comey was selected by the Kenyan Klown to replace Herr Mueller, we were told that he was a man of utmost integrity.
When Wray was appointed by DJT to replace the cowardly unindicted felon, Coward Comey, we were told that he was a man of utmost integrity.
Every time we were told that, it was not true.
DJT, as president, has rarely disappointed me. The appointment of Wray, at a time there was a desperate need for a reformer, is the exception.
President Trump, in his second term, has got to come up with someone to handle Human Resource Management decisions - someone as competent as the person who handles federal judge appointments. And the most critical appointment will be the replacement for Wimpy Wray.

I suspect hannity's estimate of 99% of the fi being good is way off the mark. If I were looking for a leader I would go through the list of everyone that has been fired internally in the last 3 years. There's a pro trump honest man in there somewhere. Lacking success there, for PDJT's second term I nominate Guiliani as head..

Wray needs to be demented to the FBI mailroom. Wray/s allegiance is to his former buddies like Comey and McCabe rather than our country.

YES, YES , YES! Exactly what I've been saying for months and months. Wray is part of the Deep State and he's going to stall and stonewall as long as he can to protect his Cronies! Fire him and also the guy he picked to fix things. Both of them are on the wrong side of this! Put someone in there who is 100% on The Trump Team!!

Wray DOESN'T WANT to "fix it". He wants to prevent if from being "fixed". That is his charter. He likes it exactly the way it is, a corrupt tool for the advancement of Globalist/Lefist/Dem political power.

Like I've said before, if an FBI agent pays you a visit, immediately demand a lawyer before they set you up for prosecution.

Wray is a big (read big joke). He is the lat person in the world capable of cleaning up the fbi. In addition AG barr is doing a very poor job of supervising him . Potus is doing a poor job of supervising barr. If there is no change of that crowd the fbi will continue to be to be most crooked law enforcement agency in the us govt.
I have stopped donating political dollars until the government ENSURES there is one set of LAWS FOR ALL CITIZENS. No more voting for a crooked govt. Clinton, brennan, Clapper, holder, obonzo, et al need to be properly Nd thoroughly investigated and prosecuted where applicable. Until then no money or votes.
