One major point is being overlooked concerning the “impeachment”: now that the impeachment weapon has been unsheathed, and swung, and shattered into myriad pieces without so much as scratching its target, the Dems have absolutely nothing to use against Trump. (snip) they hit him with an attempt to subvert electors, with the Mueller investigation, with the emoluments clause, with the 25th Amendment, and then with impeachment. And all of it simply bounced off. As it stands, Donald Trump is now beyond any legal, procedural method of harassment. He has been investigated to a fare-thee-well, and less has been found than would on you, me, or the Dalai Lama

When you have a person who is President of the USA and he wants to make THEIR country great again, the other rebellious side looks and acts like losers.
For the longest time, I grew up being told that "politicians lie" and there was nothing you could do about it. American wage earners and taxpayers want someone who is going to work hard for this country and not just for themselves. A lot of people see that in Donald Trump. As a person, he is not perfect but who is? As a President, people see him wanting to make and keep this country great. Can't ask for anyone better in my book. . .

A good allusion, but an even better one would be "Trump's Travels" among the Pelosiputians:
During his first term voyage, Trump is washed ashore after a shipwreck and finds himself a prisoner of a race of tiny people, less than 6 inches (15 cm) tall, who are inhabitants of the island country of Pelosiput. After giving assurances of his good behaviour, he is given a residence in Pelosiput.
At first, the Pelosiputians are hospitable to Trump, but they are also wary of the threat that his size poses to them. The Pelosiputians reveal themselves to be a people who put great emphasis on trivial matters. For example, which end of an egg a person cracks becomes the basis of a deep political rift within that nation. Even more so the question of how many genders a Pelosiputian can assume. They are a people who revel in displays of authority and performances of power.
Eventually, Trump is impeached and charged with treason for, among other crimes, urinating on the Pelosiputians on Twitter though he was putting out a fire.
Etc. Apparently, life imitates art.

Every Family Member, Friend and Business Associate of the President has been extensively investigated by the Press, the FBI and Congress.
And, THEY ARE ALL STILL ALIVE!

It is the most important point in all of this... Trump is the most investigated, scrutinized, and harassed politician in the history of this country. The DOJ, Dems, and media have never taken their foot off of the gas, 24/7, and can not take him or his family down. There are very few politicians in the history of this country who could withstand such scrutiny. Heck, not many of us could. Zero or Hillary wouldn't last a day under this level of scrutiny!! This is an amazing point when you really think about it.

I like the concept of moving some departments to Nome. (I'm sure it's a nice place but...)

So long as Democrats keep getting their campaign money from billionaires, corporate/industry shakedowns, and "kickbacks" from governments receiving U.S. foreign aid, they'll continue to practice their "politics by coup d'état," They've nothing to lose and everything to gain.

While I agree with the general idea that Trump is probably the most "examined" person in history and NOTHING has been found, I would caution against hubris. Trump, as a businessman in a HEAVILY regulated industry, real estate, MUST be aware of laws, regulations, political entanglements, and YUGE numbers of other issues. He KNOWS how to push the limits without breaking law. As president, we have seen that played out over and over. The Left may loath what he has done but it is within presidential power to do it. Court challenges have been, mostly, repelled and resolved to Trump's favor in the end. He needs to be careful not to leave that path of law and precedent. The path is very broad but not unbounded.
IF the election turns out to be a landslide and the House is retaken and the Senate is strengthened further, the dems will have NO power to harass. The media has been neutered. Trump will have consolidated his hold on the party. The path WILL be clear for great accomplishments, as stated in the article. The bureaucracy needs a cleaning like the Augean stables and it will be a Herculean task. Trump might have to divert the Potomac to accomplish it.
However, there is still the possibility of angering the public. I applaud the targeting and elimination of terrorists. I even accept the risks of limited engagement conflicts with nations like Iran. We have the military strength to do what is NECESSARY. But if Trump gets us into an unnecessary war and entrenchment in an ungrateful country, like Iraq, the public could quickly turn against him. Trump has been amazingly accurate in his economic and military targets and has had great success. He can continue his efforts. But he needs to be cautious about arrogant behavior that will not pay dividends. Bold is very good. Heedless is not. As I said, Trump has been amazing. He just needs to avoid the temptations of a wide open path and not run off a cliff.

Good piece, with the exception of one little problem: Nixon did not order the Watergate break-in.

FTA: ''That puts Trump in an interesting and unique position as a second-term GOP president. For the first time since Eisenhower, a Republican president faces his second term with nothing at all blocking his road.''
I'm going to have to disagree with that statement: President Trump AND the country needs to take the House of Reps from the crazy left so some actual business can be done, not this nonsense the Rats and their lying media allies have been up to for 3 years. VOTE!

We have to watch out for massive voter fraud. They didn't quite cheat enough in '16. They won't make that mistake again. This is very serious. It could turn the election.

Excellent points. Trump has been smeared and investigated to the ends of the earth, and they basically have NOTHING.
The normal denizens of The Swamp are so dirty that a short investigation will find some dirt which can be used to blackmail them and control them. Sen. Lee seems to be the latest proof of this.
But not Trump. Apparently all the "dirt" the precious little that there is has been exposed, and found to be irrelevant, and minimal.
Unbound, indeed.

If Obama had been investigated, re-investigated, analyzed, publicized, criticized, attacked, crucified, sued, blued, and tatooed, He would still be in prison for all of what would have been found out and revealed to the public. The Trump Treatment, mentioned in my first sentence just hasn't worked. What will the leftist scum try in the campaign of 2020?
