Not the slightest chance that I will get any appliances, EVER, which are connected to ANYTHING other than a 110VAC outlet.
And I hate medium rare meat. I want medium well to let it develop that nice cooked meat flavor.

#5, I hate to have to tell you, but radio chips which can connect to the cellular network are cheap enough that manufacturers will start placing them in devices, if they are not already, so that the manufacturer will be able to connect to them and find out what ever they want from them.

#8, I am an engineer, and I have wire cutters. I WILL NOT have appliances connected to the web. Just that simple.

Sorry, but I don't have anything in the house connected to the internet except my router, and that gets unplugged...no Alexa, or anything like it, no talking refrigerator or Blink camera system or talking stove...and my TV doesn't have a camera nor does my PC.....

I plan my meals.
I make perfect coffee.
My meat thermometer tells me that my meat is done.
None of this is in my Google profile.

Any of those 'smart kitchen' functions that requires an operational network connection can go pound sand. Because anything that runs on the network can be hacked from the network.

I’ll pass until they come up with a robot that picks up the dirty dishes, scrapes them, puts them in the dishwasher and then puts them up when clean. The same with a clothes washer and dryer.
