Rush Limbaugh has renewed his radio contract and intends to continue hosting The Rush Limbaugh show well into the 2020s.The popular conservative talk radio host’s contract was set to expire later in the year. Premiere Radio Networks, a syndication company, said Sunday that Limbaugh had renewed his contract but did not release many details of the agreement, according to CNN. PRN did not say exactly how long Limbaugh’s new contract is but noted it is a "long-term agreement." President Trump, however, broke the news of the agreement and said it was just a four-year deal

Good news. Rush is a bastion, and he regularly converts folks from wandering leftism to being focused and sensible conservatives.
I hope he runs a lot longer.

No matter the longevity as long as the man is there. It somewhat indicates what a sorry state of affairs the United States finds herself when a small handfull of patriots is in the breach of so many who wish the nation ill. We have been in that position before, a couple hundred years ago. Right shall prevail once again.

Full disclaimer, mostly work from home these days and one the laptops is usually attached to that audio stream.
However this is a business, Rush and others who are on commercial - live radio have one primary job above all else and that is to delver a demographically definable audience for advertisers both local, regional and nationwide (if you are not paying, you are the product) everything else is secondary. Rush is a master brand-builder and has his own empire but loose his AM audience? Off to podcast or Sirius XM.

Two things make me feel sane in a lefty culture: this site and Rush Limbaugh. I recently become a 24/7 subscriber, and I haven’t looked back. I thoroughly enjoy the fact that the enemedia has no clue who Rush or his listeners are. Let them think we are all a bunch of drones. It’s better for us when they delude themselves.

I wish Rush would get on satellite radio. It's hard to get him sometimes. Unless I missed it, he still is on mostly AM radio. Time to move on.

#12 why do you think should have his listeners pay for what we get free? He has explained his reason for not going satellite and that is his main reason. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Rush has a long standing preference to broadcast over the air radio from his young days as a radio DJ in Cape Girardeau. Many of his stations are on IHeart Radio, including WOAI in San Antonio, the original Clear Channel station (Rush's syndicator).

How many people could make their living as the most popular voice on radio, suddenly go totally deaf, and overcome (with a little help from technology) it to continue on as the voice of conservative America?

Cue the Hawkins Gospel singers, "Thank God, Rush Limbaugh's on!"
I'm retired now and listen to all three hours in the Pacific time zone. I even used to listen to Rush (on low volume) in my office when I worked at Socialist Services. Now, that's the definition of subversive! I'm one of those liberal skulls full of mush. When TK and I first married I was quoting Mother Jones. When he got the best of our political discussions, I started listening to Rush so I could know TK's points and be prepared for dinner conversation. Four years later and I voted for my first Repub presidential candidate. Lucky me, it was Bob Dole (eye roll), which kind of proves my conversion was ideological, not emotional.
Thank you Rush (and TK) for rescuing me from the bowls of Hell.

Oh, I bet he'll be furnished with a Gulfstream G650 now, although even they're getting old now. Perhaps the Global 7500 would be more worthy for him?

The worst art of my days as an arbitrator was the driving. The best part was listening to Rush on my car radio. No matter which state I was traversing, Rush was always on my radio.
I admire him for conquering his opiod addiction, and overcoming his deafness (which may have been caused by the opiods.)

Happy to hear that our much esteemed TQ is a graduate of The Rush Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies. -- verifying my previous point.
From what I have read over several years, she clearly earned a Cum Laude degree, well said, as usual, #21.
