Iran-backed militiamen behind an attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, have begun retreating from the area on Wednesday following a threat from President Donald Trump to hold Tehran accountable for the siege. “Supporters of the Kataib Hezbollah militia who had spent the night camped outside the embassy began dismantling their tents and leaving the area, saying they had won a victory and would now seek the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq through the nation’s parliament,” the Washington Post reports. The development comes after Department of Defense Secretary Mark Esper announced
The important part of this article should have been President Trump's response. It shows US and the world that he is no Jimmy Carter or a duplicitous and traitorous 0bama. Notice, President Trump is aiming all his ire at Iran directly. Stay tuned.
FTA: "“The U.S. Embassy in Iraq is, & has been for hours, SAFE! Many of our great Warfighters, together with the most lethal military equipment in the world, was immediately rushed to the site. (Snip) “Iran will be held fully responsible for lives lost, or damage incurred, at any of our facilities. They will pay a very BIG PRICE! This is not a Warning, it is a Threat. Happy New Year!” he added.

FTA: "The militiamen were protesting..."
Really? Seems there may have been more to merely protesting.

I think this would be a good time to refresh peoples memories about the horrific way Benghazi was handled.

May Little 0bie and The Beast rot in hell forever - -
- - for allowing four Americans to be murdered simply to protect themselves politically - - and then - -
- - shamelessly lying about it in front of their caskets and their families. Burn forever.

That show of strength thing... Works every time it's tried. Now Trump needs to get James Taylor over there to sing, You've Got a Friend, like the Vietnam veteran John Kerry did. HAHA!!

Seek the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq? Didn’t the messiah do that several years ago? Isn’t that how we got ISIS?

Well the Iranian Mullahs through their proxy militia in Iraq operating under the guise of being “protesters” conducted a test of President Trump and found out that he will not follow the ineffective Obama Benghazi response of leaving US diplomats and security elements unprotected to be killed. As more US Marines and Army airborne infantry arrive to protect the embassy compound, the Mullahs now know that they are not going to be able to take over the embassy and further efforts to do that are going to result in a lot of dead Iranian backed “protesters”. So the Mullahs are pulling their “protesters” away from the embassy. The fact that the Iraqi military was unable to push those “protesters” away from the embassy courtyard and entry gate should tell you that the Iraqi military is ineffective and that a lot of US resources, personnel, and money have been wasted or lost while training the Iraqi military.

They probably saw the Apache gunships and Predator drones circling overhead and decided to pack up their toys and go home.

If you read the entire group of Trump tweets you see a clear threat aimed at Iraqis as well.
IF they want to fall under the control of strong man Ayatolla K., just keep it up, taking days off from their job of protecting the embassy.
BUT, if they want a representative gov't, step up.
Almost made Iraq look like it missed its old strong man, Saddam H.

Somehow I think a bunch of A-10's sent without a press release or statement might have been a better and stronger response.

I am SO SICK of dealing with ignorant, backwards 7th century savages! They understand torture, death, and destruction so let us give it to them in a heavy enough dose to shut them up for the next century.
Never has so mighty a country been so very restrained against those who wish us nothing but utter annihilation. I DO NOT consider this a good thing. They get violence.. that is all. Logic demands we give it to them and how!

How fast would Iraq fall to Iranian backed terrorists if the US wasn't there? The Iraqi military certainly did not stand up to them. One has to wonder just how much has Iran infiltrated Iraq.

The media, Democrats, never-Trumpers, and everyone on the Left hoped with all of their hearts that this incident would turn into another Benghazi.
President Trump triumphed over them all.
