The Trump Administration and the Republican Party got a troubling sign Christmas week that all of their number might not be willing to stand together come an impeachment trial.
Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski on Tuesday told KTUU-TV in Anchorage she was “disturbed” that her leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, would be coordinating with the White House in the coming trial – assuming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will send over the articles of impeachment passed by the House earlier this month to the Senate.
Widely viewed as the quintessential “Republican In Name Only,” the Senate Energy and Natural Resources chairwoman
What McConnell actually said is that he would be coordinating with the White Counsel's Office so that POTUS Trump would get a fair hearing.
Murkowski is one of those members of a political family in which the patriarch was nailed for corruption and defeated. Somehow then this witch was defeated in the Republican primary, but ran anyway and squeaked out a questionable "victory".

# 2, I wonder what the Senate rules are regarding that.
I remember when Murkowski lost the Republican primary but the winner turned out to be such a dipwad she was able to win with a plurality of write-in votes.
I've never been to Alaska but it seems like a strange place. Apparently it is not the preserve of rugged individualists many of us lower 48ers imagine it to be.

Mitch McConnell is perfectly capable of "replacing" Lisa...he did it to his fellow Senator Jim Bunning (R)KY and Bunning was supposed to be his good friend.

The usual suspects will raise their ugly heads, Murkowski and the twisted sisters from Maine. McCain too if he isn't totally dead yet.

Alaskan oil is becoming less important as the lower 48 are vastly producing. Send her a memo explaining how the new exploration might be canceled.

More RINO scum. Why wasn't she "disturbed" about the Schiff for brains secret tribunals held in the basement with no way for Trump to defend himself.

Murkowski is exhibit A that not all ugly (to the point of inducing vomiting), brain dead, imbecilic, female pols fly exclusively under the dimocrat flag. Sad to say.
Make things right, Alaska, and primary this creep. You too, Utah. I don't need to spell it out, you know who we mean.

The RNC needs to clearly educate
The RNC needs to make it clear to Murkowski that the "R" stands for Republican, not RINO, and that if she is not on the team, she should not expect any help from the RNC checkbook. Same with Romney and Collins.
Maybe the NMC (National Maverick Committee) is anxious to fund Senatorial candidates from Alaska, Maine, and Nevada.
Flake out, mavericks.

Ahh, she's just trying to show her sister senators from the West Coast, Feinstein, Hirono, Harris, Murray and Cantwell that she too follows Democrat talking points. What a gal!

How disturbed was she when Schiff was proven to not only have been concocting evidence and then reading it into the congressional record, but he has been exposed as coaching and discussing testimony of his special witnesses. Where are the outraged comments about Schiff's lack of fairness? How about Chuckie's own back door attempts to sneak more liars into the witness stand for the upcoming senate trial if one is held? Her being disturbed is a natural condition for such a corrupted woman as Princess Lisa is. After all, she learned her corruption at her daddy's knee before he got sent to prison due to efforts of Palin to shut down the old boy's network in Alaska.

I know Alaska is sparsely populated, but surely there is someone besides Murkowski or Sarah Palin. (sorry - Palin has too much baggage and will be an automatic target. We do not need that.)

Unfortunately, Murkowski is NOT up for re-election this round, so she will go on and on virtue signaling.

A concise case of accurate self-diagnosis -- she called herself "disturbed", the very euphemism used by professionals in describing the denizens of the "phunny pharm" that they treat.

Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are two peas in a pod. Are their offices furnished with "Fainting Couches"? Every press release the two biddies put out always lead with the phrase, Disturbed, Deeply Disturbed, or Very Disturbed.
They both should change careers and get a job on one of PBS's Victorian Dramas.

There's no remedy for fool-politicians like Murkowski but to remove them. If the voting public remains unwise in their selections, we will all continue to suffer for their stupidity.

My experience with everyday Alaskans is that they are not concerned with politics. It doesn't effect them. They care about hunting, fishing, and not freezing to death. Survival is their priority. Politics is something that happens in Juneau, which is in the lower 48 or maybe Canadia.

I can assure you Joe Miller was not a dipwad. He is/was a true conservative that would have been a good senator. He was born in my home state of Kansas where he would be welcome to come back and run for Pat Robert's seat. Murkowski is the real dipwad in this conversation.
