The Democratic primary has had much hue and cry over Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders of late. Yet the front-runner continues to be former Vice President Joe Biden, and there is little sign as yet that he is going to lose his lead, despite his fumbling campaign.
The Democrats are sleepwalking into a disaster.
Biden has so far run a lackluster at best campaign. He is doing relatively few events, and often puts his foot (or his wife's fingers) in his mouth at the ones he does.

This is an anti-Trump author who is worried Biden can't beat President Trump. In other words, the author is a useless idiot.

The Democ'RATS don't have a 'Best' candidate.
They only have a 'Least Bad' candidate, who right now appears to be Quid Pro Joe.
Joe was, of course Obama's impeachment/assassination insurance, as NO-ONE, left, right, or center, wanted Gropin' Joe in the Oval Office.
But.... the other Democ'RAT candidates are even worse.
Biden just CAN'T be the nominee.
I wonder what the 'Rats have planned?
A brokered convention with the HildeBeast 'drafted' in to save the day? (It would save her being exposed to the rigors of the Primary campaign.)
The ONLY thing I am sure of is that there is some underhanded Scheme afoot.
If Sleepy Joe gets the nomination, President Trump will beat him in the election (as Joe Dan Gorman over at IntellectualFroglegs.com puts it) "Like a Red-Headed Rented Mule".

So 63 million of us are now “riled up kooks”? I long for the good old days of just being deplorable.

Joe is counting on adding Stacey Abrams to the ticket for some additional electoral weight.

Biden is the smartest guy in the race, and he hasn't got enough brain cells left to beat a gerbil.

At this point it doesn't matter who they run. Mainstream democrats are sick of their own party and only the far left-leaning misfits will bother to vote. That doesn't mean we should not pile on and boost the landslide.

I still believe the Democrat's best candidate is Tulsi Gabbard, who is being kept out of the running by the power brokers in the DNC. I would not vote for her, but she doesn't strike me as a raving loony either.

If the leftist and liberal Democrats do make Biden their nominee. The next step will be for Obama, who for all intents and purposes is still the leader of the Democrat Party, to select the African-American politician who will be Biden’s Vice-Presidential partner, it has to be that way as any Biden led ticket will need Obama’s support to have any chance in the general election, especially as about 34% of African-American are being polled as supporting Trump in that election, it this point who knows if that is true or not. Whoever that African-American politician turns out to be, will be the politician who Obama and his segment of the Democrat Party want as President, after Biden retires along the line because of his advanced age and medical complications, thus turning the presidency over to his Vice-President, and giving that African-American politician a leg up in the 2024 election. But first Biden must defeat Trump in 2020 and as it stands today that is not going to happen, regardless of all the fake polling that is being reported. Remember to the Democrats, the means always justify the end result, especially when it comes to them retaining political power.

The angst among the dems that know Biden is a joke is hilarious.
"Biden will take on the vague appearance of being The Corrupt One despite Trump being monumentally worse in every possible respect."
PROVE IT, JERK. In 4 years of investigations using every dirty and criminal trick in the book, they have NO PROOF that Trump has done anything wrong. Of course crazed Leftists just KNOW it is true.
"nominating Trump in 2016 was a terrific gamble by the Republican Party"
The PARTY didn't nominate Trump, We the People did; to the shock and horror of the eRepublicans, many of who did their very best to get Hillary elected instead. They failed.
"If any Democrats want to halt the potential disaster of a Biden nomination, they're going to have to do something about it."
Ha ha ha ha! The only thing worse than a Biden candidacy would be any of the other hapless dems. The author describes Hillary as "a hapless, incompetent opponent who was nearly as unpopular as he (Trump) was". And yet, Hillary polls strongly against the other smurfs. The problem is, the dem party has devolved to a party of hysterical idiots and liars. They have NO ONE qualified to be president. If they did, there wouldn't be 20 clowns on the debate stage.
Biden is the "safe", semi-sane candidate 1/3 or more of dems have been driven to while running away from the Left. Pelousy's move to impeachment because she was forced to by the left when she KNOWS it is a loser strategy, shows who owns the party now; the Leftist wackos. No matter which smurf wins there will be a lot of dems completely turned off by the result. The truth is, the dem party is a disaster. The only question is how much of a mess will be left after next November?
