The NOQ Report noted over the weekend that the Drudge Report has lost almost a third of its regular visitors since the summer. This observation came a week after Rasmussen Reports called attention to a rumor that Matt Drudge had sold his eponymous media behemoth some time ago. Does it make more sense that one of the savviest communicators of information in the history of the world (no exaggeration when you think of the sheer number of ideas he has used to change minds; affect populations; and influence leaders, movements, and governments for twenty-five years) decided to burn his creation down in nihilistic rage and madness

FTA: "It does remind me an awful lot, though, of the Left's long tradition of capturing institutions that threaten its hold on power by seducing, intimidating, or converting the people who run them"
Brings to mind the recent 180 done by Chick-Fil-A. The left leaves no stone unturned in it's pursuit of total domination and quashing of dissent. They send in their covert operatives to infiltrate and take over. I have always thought of them as sort of evil energizer bunnies, they continue to march forward relentlessly. YouTube is becoming a joke, the communists countries are starting to look like pikers when it comes to censoring content. The worst part is that the rest of us are apparently helpless when it comes to stopping this. They control all the major players.

It's a shame about Drudge -- but the Bongino Report, Beige Page, and Whatfinger have filled the gap very nicely indeed. There will always be a voice for conservatism.

Drudge has been trending Left for a while. I removed it from favorites a long time ago. I do find the midterm retirements odd. Why leave when the party is winning?

Obviously, the author does not know. But hey, let's engage in some wild speculation, alright?

Who cares. It's just a click I don't need anymore. I don't think he knew where his bread was buttered, AND he did not understand the fate of traitors.

I stopped using Drudge before the 2016 election when I thought he tilted to the Cinton$ too much.
Since then I've found Rantingly.com to be very good.

"Liberty Daily" is also a good alternative to Drudge. Sharp-pointed commentary, too!

When you click on a story of what someone said and then find the video and they don't match the Drudge headline, it is time to dump the source.

What happened to Epstein's 'guest list', and the accompanying videos? Someone has that information and I would imagine is using it. Maybe to pressure Rep House members to retire...maybe those members see the handwriting on the wall that the gravy train is over...whether or not all of this will come out, remains to be seen. Barr, Durham, and a few other high placed officials seem serious about full disclosure, but in the end, who knows what will happen? A large part of our Government has been corrupted.
Donald Trump is a true New York type guy. One thing I know for sure. If you do wrong to a New Yorker, and pi** them off such they they vow to get into a fight with you. You are in a fight that will continue to its ultimate conclusion. And if its not too obvious, that's the guy I want going into battle for me!

Drudge has been analyzed to death. It's the same thing that happened to the NYT and the WaPo and is now happening to Fox. Once management has been changed over and the money sources are rerouted, it's all over. It's like a human being bitten by a vampire, there is no reversal and we now have a new leftist propaganda outlet.

I went there years ago, found links to Lucianne and a few other good sites, and kept moving. I have never understood the attraction to Drudge, nor would I care now if he painted himself purple. I have a hunch some have used him as a no brainer way to find articles to post here. Kind of an index. I pick and choose my own sites.
He certainly never affected my thinking or changed my mind, and I wouldn’t call an index a creation...

I noticed the change in mid summer, right when apparently he changed ad agencies or sold. This seems like old news to most of us, since we all seemed to have noticed the nasty leftward tilt back then, but it is good to have these articles to make sure everyone is aware. Some people just will go there out of habit. I want to see the site slash and burn personally. There was a rumor an anti trumper from the failed Weekly Standard bought it. I am sure someone nasty is in control now, one way or another

I tell everyone to just read Lucianne.com
Drudge has always been for discerning adults, but Lucianne has always been something any of us can stake our reputations on, even when recommending it to young people.

There is a reason Soros has been putting DAs in all over the place. That's a lot of dirt that can now be dug up on your "enemies." That sure would explain all the "retirements," and so much more.

Bought out by leftists, clearly. It takes about two minutes at the site to see that. The details of exactly how it happened? Who cares?
The Drudge Report is now just another lefitst propaganda outlet. Ignore it.

He's a homosexual. Remember David Brock? Another homosexual who was a conservative and then did a 180.

Why do people make such a big deal out of Drudge? He was just a portal. He only chose what went on his site. The only thing unique was his red/blue police light beacon for really, really big breaking news... recalling the Monica Lewinsky scoop.
