A biological male transgender English professor derides “conservatives” for missing that the 1964 Christmas special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is all about “queer” people. Jennifer Finney Boylan, a New York Times opinion writer who teaches at Barnard College, wrote Wednesday: I’m sure that conservatives who love this old holiday chestnut will be infuriated by this suggestion. But if you watch the show without understanding that its central conflict is the way people who are different are constantly shunned and humiliated — well, I don’t know what show you’re watching. It’s not Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, I can tell you that, a show in which, at the climax,

The Left are ghoulish perverts. They inject gayness everywhere they look, from Bert & Ernie, to Arthur, to Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer, for goodness sake. They lust after children, and their corruption of our culture has deeply damaged our youth, especially boys but also girls. Two boys (or even men, for that matter) cannot be best friends without it being assumed that they are gay. After all, according to television, isn’t everyone? I’m thankful for the time in which I grew up, but at the same time I feel deeply aggrieved for our young people who are drowning our increasingly destructive and exploitative culture.

A decade or so ago, they told us that Bugs Bunny was gay. These deranged freaks find an LGBTQwhatever issue in everything they see. BTW, isn’t Barnard a women’s college? You’d think the students there would be upset about a bio-male in a dress teaching there. But I guess LGBTQwhatever trumps feminism these days.

The story survives and flourishes because everyone has 'felt different' at one time or another or has been treated as 'different' at one time or another. This is all about individuality and uniqueness and leveraging your special abilities and strengths. It's not about sex. This is what a significant part of the academy has become--a place to shock the bourgeoisie and impose an ideological straightjacket. Every time we see something silly like this it diminishes the reputation of our universities. We can take heart that there are scientists and engineers in universities still trying to seek the truth and improve the human condition.

Sanders sensed trouble from the beginning when he saw the young man approach the microphone and said, "Oh, he's looking at his phone. I'm in trouble." After being given the mic to ask Sanders a question, the man addressed the commander in chief directly, offering him words of encouragement. "Mr. Trump, keep going man. A Missouri church did its best to honor the historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris by creating a seven-foot-tall gingerbread replica of the church. The cathedral suffered substantial fire damage earlier this year, so parishioners at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Weston, Missouri, decided to bring the cathedral back to life — with gingerbread and 450 pounds of ingredients. The confectionery delight measures seven feet tall at its highest point, eight feet long, and four feet wide. Lisa Stiffler, one of the creators behind the masterpiece, says the work is a “feel-good project.”
