Democrats’ Impeachment and
the Boy Who Cried Wolf

Original Article

Democrats crying “impeachment” are the boy who cried “wolf.” Like the boy in the fable, they will find they have worn out the cry. And like the boy, they will be the ones to suffer for having done so. In the story, a shepherd boy repeatedly excites the townsfolk by falsely claiming he has seen a wolf. Eventually, the exasperated townspeople come to ignore his cries. Like the boy, Democrats have been crying for impeachment for every perceived Trump offense — many of which exist only in their own imagination. Originally centering on Russia, failure there drove them to Ukraine.

Reminds me of the time the lovely and gracious Nancy Pelosi said: “You can’t cry wolf in a crowded theater” - where do we get such men?

In the same vein, this is NO different than how the left throws out that R word: RACISM! People are sick and tired of hearing it and the Rats will pay for this too at the ballot box.

No, in the wolf story, eventually the boy cried "wolf" when there really was a wolf. And it ate him. The only wolves in the current mess are in the mangy pack of desperate Democrats trying to rip apart our country. And I'm not just crying "wolf"!

It literally took about 15 minutes for the cry for impeachment after President Trump was sworn in.

After he was acquitted in a major fraud trial, former Labor Secretary Ray Donovan asked, “Which office do I go to to get my reputation back?” The trial was ruinous for Donovan, personally and financially, and the question was a fair one. Donovan, however, at least received a trial. Former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page has never been given a fair hearing, let alone a trial, to clear his name. As the two political parties spin the results of a report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, one matter remains unaddressed. Someone needs to apologize to Page. The Democratic National Committee is pushing back against a request from the party’s presidential candidates to change debate requirements to allow Cory Booker and Julián Castro to appear on the January stage. The letter, sent to the DNC Saturday afternoon, is signed by Booker, Castro and all seven presidential candidates who have already qualified for the December debate. It urges the committee to alter its debate qualifications for the January and February debates in a way that would allow Booker and Castro and potentially several other candidates to appear.

If you happen to live in or around Joliet Township in Illinois, located a bit to the southwest of Chicago, and you happen to be looking for work, there’s some good news coming your way. The Township is looking to hire a new clerk. If you’re interested, the job will entail many of the tasks you’d likely expect, including answering phones, filing and making copies. There is one special requirement, however. You have to be a Democrat to apply. (CBS Chicago) A help-wanted ad in the suburbs raised eyebrows this week – with its suggestion that only Democrats need apply.

Ever since Watergate and the fall of Richard Nixon, a not-so-secret appeal of journalism has been the possibility that you, too, could bring down a president. Get a press pass and, presto, you’re another Woodward and Bernstein. Donald Trump just spoiled the fantasy. If, as expected, the Democrats’ impeachment dies a quick death in the Senate, it’s not just Speaker Nancy Pelosi who will have been thwarted. Presidential scalp-hunting by a biased media will be another Washington game disrupted by Trump.

Imagine California being “too close to call” for Donald Trump vs. his Democratic opponent on election night in November of 2020. That, in essence, is what happened in the United Kingdom Thursday night with an enormous, and historic, win for Boris Johnson and the Conservative Party. This movement of the political tectonic plates will surely cause a tsunami of reaction across the pond, here in the U.S., as well around the world. Since the era of Margaret Thatcher the U.K hasn’t seen such a surge toward the Conservative Party and this is such a large win that it will hold for at least a generation to come.

There's only one major trophy remaining for Joe Burrow to lift up this college football season. The LSU quarterback on Saturday won the Heisman Trophy, given to the most outstanding player in college football. He beat out fellow quarterbacks Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma) and Justin Fields (Ohio State) and defensive end Chase Young (Ohio State) to hoist the 85th edition of the award at the PlayStation Theater in New York City. Burrow finished with the largest margin of victory in Heisman history, as 1,846 points separated him from second-place Hurts. He also received a record 90.7% of all the first-place votes available and was named on 95.5% of ballots, another record.

Detroit’s success was a very complicated story. Its failure is a simpler one. How did Detroit become the “Motor City” at the center of the U.S. automotive business? It wasn’t obvious that it would be: At the end of the 19th century, more than 100 automobile companies were organized in the United States, most of them in New England and Ohio. But Michigan won out because it had a hugely important advantage in one natural resource: smart people. Ask a half-dozen car guys why Detroit beat out the rest, and you’ll get a half-dozen answers: Maybe because Henry Ford and Ransom Olds lived in Michigan,

Some recent news stories verge on the bizarre: the House Democrats’ futile fuss over impeachment, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s acceptance of President Trump’s US-Canada-Mexico trade treaty. But they’re not as bizarre, or possibly as consequential, as unanticipated developments in the Democrats’ presidential nomination contest. Consider the role of money, which Democrats are always saying plays too big a role in politics. This year, it plainly isn’t. Their two billionaire late entrants, Tom Steyer and Michael Bloomberg, aren’t running away with the contest. Steyer is at 1.7% in the RealClearPolitics average, and Bloomberg’s 5.5% surely owes as much to his formidable three terms as New York mayor

Politicians lie. Just look at Beto O’Rourke, who also said he wasn’t going to run for president—he ran anyway. She’s part of the Democratic Party elite. She’s royalty. She’s a heavyweight. And she would have the resources, the operatives, and the infrastructure to run again. None of the candidates in the 2020 Democratic field can beat Trump. The United States has a higher share of single-parent households than 129 other countries, a recent analysis from the Pew Research Center reveals. Twenty-three percent of U.S. children live with a single adult, Pew found, compared with an average of just 7 percent around the world. Of the 130 countries from which Pew obtained survey data, rates of single-parent households ranged from the low 20s in the United States and United Kingdom to as low as 1 or 2 percent in countries like Turkey and Afghanistan. The report suggests that America's record-high rate,
