The great debate about whether the FBI spied on the Trump campaign continues. The question is why there is still any argument. The newly released report from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz shows that by any definition the FBI did indeed spy.
The proof is in the details of the report. In addition to the much-discussed wiretap of Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page, Horowitz discussed the bureau's use of what is called a CHS (a confidential human source, or, in more common terms, an informant) and a UCE (an undercover employee, or a secret agent) to gather information from at least three targets in the Trump campaign.

The big question now is will anybody be held accountable for such gross lawbreaking. Since they are all leftists I assume the answer is no

What was it all if not just community organizing? Who was that community organizer person?

So for 2 years the President was investigated for obstruction of justice for firing Comey who was conducting an illegal spying operation on his administration? How twisted is that? He should have gotten a medal for protecting the Presidency from a coup attempt.

I agree very much with York's second sentence. York is a good reporter, but a careful one, too.

#2, if you think Byron was one of the Enemedia, you are seriously mistaken. He was always an honest reporter, but also, it would seem, careful to not get too far out ahead of a story, and risk his job.
IMO the worst he can be found guilty of is a bit if timidity at times.

While the FBI is said by the DOJ IG, because nobody “fessed up” to him that the FBI did not, met their internal ultra low standard of predication to open that “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation targeting Trump and his presidential campaign, the misconduct actually appears to have started after the FBI determined that the predication that they had used was bogus and unfounded, with the FBI then failing to close the case and move on. Because under normal circumstances such an unfounded investigation would have been closed, as if not, the FBI would be beating a dead horse with innumerable open investigations that would be going nowhere.
Clearly the only reason that investigation was allowed to proceed by the FBI Headquarters super bureaucrats was because they had been given a politicized “wink and a nod” from the highest level in the Obama White House to proceed. that’s because bureaucrats at that high level are usually very cautious, and are not about to put their career positions, their professional qualifications, and reputations at risk, by covertly investigating a presidential candidate and his presidential campaign without first receiving “insurance” that in this case, that they would be taken care of both financially and professionally once they had successfully “framed” Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was elected. The big problem for the country will come in the future with much more serious electoral related bureaucratic misconduct if no one is held seriously accountable for the law breaking that has already occurred.

The sad part is that a group of law enforcement, who used to have the highest standards, have sunk to this low...unfortunately the worker bees, the low end field agents are being tarred by the same brush as the high ups who gave the orders...I ran into an old colleague the other day who was so proud that he was off to the Academy shortly...I refrained from saying anything other than 'good luck'...I wonder if there is a course titled 'Lying to the press 101' included in the schooling...

A good argument could be made that it is time to purge the top management at the FBI. I would include Wray in that purge. Wray could have been a reformer hero, but chose the wrong path.
Prior to about 1931, FBI agents were not allowed to carry guns - they could only investigate federal matters.
It makes sense to return to the good old days, hey?

And still no mention why the FISA court judges (who don't need no stinkin' IG or special counsel or US attorney to tell them what to do) haven't hauled all the signatories to those obviously FALSIFIED and UNVERIFIED applications to spy on US citzens and a US political campaign to account for why they DEFRAUDED the FISA Court?
The obvious answer, but one that really scares me, is that the Judges and their staff were in deep as thieves with the coup plotters. It would be nice if the FISA court and their supervisor, Chief Justice Roberts, would prove me wrong. Maybe if you see the Chief Justice at a New York Giants football game, you can ask him.

Spied? They are still spying on the President, along with the CIA, the NSA, the DIA, and other domestic spy agencies. Until they are completely cleaned out, none of them can be trusted. I recommend hiring Mossad to replace them.
