Donald Trump certainly is mercurial at times. He can be uncouth.
But then again, no president in modern memory has been on the receiving end of such overwhelmingly negative media coverage and a three-year effort to abort his presidency, beginning the day after his election.
Do we remember the effort to subvert the Electoral College to prevent Trump from assuming office?
The first impeachment try during his initial week in office?
Attempts to remove Trump using the ossified Logan Act or the emoluments clause of the Constitution?
The idea of declaring Trump unhinged, subject to removal by invoking the 25th Amendment?

The MSM is truly the enemy of the Republic. Yellow journalism is back with a vengeance... Interesting times.

Maybe not the only adult in the room, but certainly the strongest one. I doubt if any other republican could withstand the constant, intense attacks that he has. But, in the process, he has clearly identified that the media is "fake news", and that our federal government is full of more swamp creatures than we ever could have imagined. Had Hillary been elected, both the news media and the corrupt government would have continued with few people knowing about it. We have been blessed with a president who is a strong adult.

The President certainly stands tall over the left. He exudes a mature, morally upright, and resolved behavior that the left can't stand. And the globalists for that matter. All he has to do is be his adult self and lead. But, unfortunately for the left, it has unlocked an obsessive compulsive disorder within themselves that has made them prisoners of their own minds. Despite the annoyance of such behavior, it was worth exposing it so that we can see who and what the left is, its corruption, its lies, and at times, its evil.

There is more to this than simple animus. PDT presents a clear and present existential danger to the bi-partisan UNIPARTY dedicated to profiteering. That's if the American public even gives a damn. Their IRAs and 401ks are doing swell, too.
Politics has become a television reality series. Tune in tomorrow to see the next "bombshell" and the scurrying by one side or the other to spin their truthiness.

Trump is the only politician that is not scripted. He does not read the teleprompter from scripts, written by someone else, based on polling. He's real. He's accessible. He is not a career politician.
The career politicians have had decades to get it right, and they haven't, so why would any one vote for them? We need term limits, NO lifetime pay, and REAL!! Please .. give me real any day. Mistakes and all!

Call me racist and misogynist, I do not care. My observation is the source of most of the bitterness, anger and hatred for conservatives originates with militant minority women in the media and Congress.
Shiela Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Mazie, AOC, Omar, "AM Joy", Whoopie...
White liberals are terrified of them.

From the Bush family, to the Clintons to Obama the global movement and uni-party was the agenda. Who know where we would be if Hillary had stepped in. We could very possible been at the mercy of the UN or warring in the streets using our right to bear arms against a tyrannical government.
President Trump is in the breach and very much a second Lincoln in a house divided. It takes a strong adult to do the job President Trump is doing. Many in Washington including Republicans are not adults that's for sure. 2020 and beyond will be the telling of the future of our Republic.

As Charlie Hurt opined, it is impossible to have a democracy if the populace is uninformed. The LSM is doing all in its power to destroy the democracy by misinforming the public. It's just that simple. The dims are a disgrace but they are enabled by the LSM. What can be done about it? Re-elect the president, take back the House, expand the majority in the Senate and keep appointing conservative judges. Expand the republican tent and show the dims for what they are--pathetic individuals who want to feel good about themselves by controlling others.

Get over Trump NOT acting like the elitist academician and politician. It is amazing how terse language is much more dangerous to so many people than those same people losing their liberty. It's also very sad. Patton, Nimitz, Howlin' Mad Smith, and many, many others were all mercurial and uncouth but now most Americans would much rather be speaking Japanese and German and under tyranny just to save them from a guy who says uncouth things.

You know what liberals dislike the most? Being restricted or having constraints. They think they should be able to do anything they want with no barriers. And they want taxpayers to pay for it all. Through the years, American taxpayers have tuned out what has been happening with those hard-earned dollars. Government went on a spending spree and now Donald Trump has come onto the scene and all of these liberals have become whiny babies. Yes, sometimes it does feel like Donald Trump is the only adult in government.

#8 is correct, and to add to the post, I would note that the minority women cited, have had the benefit of affirmative action, twice over.
It means that they were likely the beneficiaries of pandering by their professors, easy grades, preferential hiring.
That, in turn, causes them to expect preferential treatment in congress.
We have created monsterettes, all in the interest of social justice and fairness.

Fortunately, not quite. He has a few key member, Pompeo, Barr, Lightheizer, and more who are really sane, sensible, patriotic Americans, who are willing to fight against all the massive forces of corruption, globalism and anti-American hatred that are arrayed against US.

Trump continues to grow in office. He is the best president I have known, and the world has seen. He is the greatest communicator, just watch any Trump rally. He has made our Nation wealthy again. We all love watching our 401ks grow and grow. The Dow at 28,134 right now. Peace and Prosperity. The Marxist-Democrats can take their abuse and obstruction of Congress articles and stuff them up their bottoms. Our dear President Trump has grown into a giant.Pray they do not JFK him as they tried with Scalise.

One thing is for sure, President Trump such pulled the leftist and liberal Democrat’s chain when he stuck his nose into Joseph Biden’s gross nepotistic corruption scheme in Ukraine, where his son was handed a do nothing job which earned him millions of dollars, some of which could well have been “laundered” US foreign aid money. Along with another scheme in China where Biden’s son was given a sweetheart deal, that very experienced US investment banks could not get, managing well over a billion dollars in Chinese money for which Biden’s son took a cut. Since political bribery in a major crime in the USA, to find away around being charged with such a crime, corrupt politicians appear to be using nepotistic corruption and book deals to get their “Kickbacks”. While the Democrats, and you can bet some of the DC “UniParty” politicians think that Trump should be gotten rid of for pushing to investigate such political corruption, Trump’s supporters and others with common sense believe that what Trump did in that respect was actually part of the “Draining the DC Swamp” agenda that was a major reason why Trump was elected in the first place.

Re #17
How many people are aware that Hunter Biden was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy at age 43? The cutoff age for the unique position is 42 but he obtained a waiver. Of course there was no political influence (wink, wink). When he was caught using cocaine he was given an undefined "administrative" discharge - not dishonorable. No political influence I'm sure (winking again).
He acknowledged he would not have got the Burisma position were his name not Biden and daddy VP.
So much obvious corruption and the media ignores or defends it
