Report: Giuliani settles long
divorce from his third wife

Original Article

New York - Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and his third wife have reached a settlement in a yearslong court battle that exposed details about their luxurious lifestyle, The New York Times reported on Tuesday. Giuliani, 75, and his wife, Judith, put an end to their differences and “intend to remain friends in the years to come,” Judith Giuliani’s divorce attorney, Bernard E. Clair, told the newspaper. An email and phone call left for Clair was not returned. It was not immediately clear who represented Rudy Giuliani. The settlement comes more than year after Judith Giuliani filed divorce papers against her now former husband, the personal attorney to President Donald Trump.

Comments:

Rudi, Rudi, Rudi. By the way, the AP had to end the article by taking a shot at Giuliani that has nothing to do with his divorce.

$12'k a month for cigars (?) wouldn't you like to be his tobacconist! If it would stop him from too much talking to the press it might be worth it; however, for those of us who manage to live on considerably less than $12,000.00 a month it seems more than excessive. It is his money and he has the right to spend it any way he wishes, but having it known in the public domain won't add to his popularity.

If somebody gave me half of a huge income I would remain "friends" also. You get all of the benefits brought by marriage with none of the hassle.

Nothing like the threat of huge loss of assets via legal settlement to get a divorcing spouse to the settlement table. Now she has half ? of community assets and they are not threatened by greedy lawfare vultures.

Republicans turned the second day of House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearings into a direct attack on Joe Biden's son Hunter – citing his cocaine use and ugly public divorce as they tried to amend the Democrats' articles of impeachment against Donald Trump. Just minutes after the panel voted down a GOP amendment to strike down an abuse of power article, Donald Trump loyalist Rep. Matt Gaetz introduced a three-line amendment that explicitly mentioned Hunter Biden and the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma. It would change the articles of impeachment to allege that Trump's call to Ukraine's president was seeking information on Hunter Biden, not his father Joe -

A British scientist found penguins engaging in 'depraved' sexual activity including rape and 'prostitution' more than 100 years ago, a new book has revealed. George Murray Levick made the findings in 1910 but his manuscript was too shocking to publish in Edwardian Britain. On his travels, he witnessed a kind of penguin 'prostitution' in which stones would be exchanged for female penguins. (Snip) In his account, Levick described witnessing 'gang rape' and sexual abuse of chicks, according to The Sun which has seen a copy of the book. Female penguins would be 'pimped out' with stones, but would sometimes run away with them after a courtship ritual, he said.

Eight days after the billionaire posed in a US Navy Seal uniform for this snap, he was in cuffs. Chile’s defense minister has confirmed that wreckage recovered from the sea off Antarctica is from a Chilean Air Force plane which disappeared on Monday. Alberto Espina also said some human remains have been found. The C-130 Hercules transport aircraft was bound for the Presidente Eduardo Frei Montalva air base in Antarctica on a routine maintenance mission with 17 crew members and 21 passengers when it lost radar contact. Hours after its disappearance, Chilean authorities announced that the plane had ‘crashed’ as, by that time, it would have ran out of fuel. An emergency search and rescue operation was launched by the Chilean Air Force, and some debris was recovered

Congress enacted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in 1978 in response to the unlawful surveillance of Americans by the FBI and the CIA during the Watergate era. (Snip) The Constitution requires probable cause of crime to be demonstrated to a judge before the judge can sign a search warrant. That was the law of the land until FISA came along. FISA set up the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, and it authorized the judges on that court to issue search warrants based on a lower standard of probable cause.
