Imagine the Department of Justice inspector general (IG) conducting a review of the Jeffrey Epstein case. It might read something like this: “While it is clear that Mr. Epstein abused minor girls, there is no documentary or testimonial evidence that he was motivated by a deviant sexual interest in those young girls.”(Snip)The report by IG Michael Horowitz is one long expose of a confluence of actors at the top of the FBI who, by their own words, despised Donald Trump and came together to open and run an investigation into his 2016 presidential campaign, falsifying documents, withholding evidence and using a confidential source who had stated clearly that his goal

The author is well-qualified to write this:
Kevin R. Brock, former assistant director of intelligence for the FBI, was an FBI special agent for 24 years and principal deputy director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC). He is a founder and principal of NewStreet Global Solutions, which consults with private companies and public-safety agencies on strategic mission technologies.

An important article as this FBI veteran (see #1) describes what would normally have happened with a tip such as the one received about Carter Page. A field officer would have interviewed him. Brock then goes on to describe the top FBI officials, seriously biased, who took their “investigation” to the highest, most intrusive level.

I wonder if the iG reasoned like this—the FBI people involved had no basic political bias, but they wanted to be on the right side of the expected winner of the 2016 election, and the foregone conclusion was that this would be Hillary. Thus, the IG may have judged them to be more like prostitutes than like political agents.

The larger question in this narrow FISA abuse report is that the rationale for the Crossfire Hurricane investigation was based on Page's involvement and the opposition research in the Steele dossier. Once this was known by the FBI to be bogus the investigation would have been concluded. The FBI kept it alive through illegal corrupt acts. This was the investigation that Trump was accused of obstructing when he fired Comey. This was then used as the justification for the appointment of Robert Mueller. The entire house of cards of the Mueller charade was based on illegal acts by Comey, Rosenstein, and Mueller. If AG Sessions had not been forced to incorrectly recuse himself from the investigation he would have been briefed on this sorry affair and pulled the plug when it occurred. The bottom line is that this has been a coup attempt from the outset and not some isolated problem with the FISA application process.

It's starting to unravel, but this is pretty much THE biggest corruption and treason case that this country has ever seen. Glad to see some facts getting out there, but this is just the barest tip of a huge iceberg.
This one is going to take a good bit of time to make it absolutely, perfectly bulletproof and airtight from a legal standpoint. Messrs Barr and Durham have a huge job in front of them, and I think they realize that every time they turn over a rock, more slimy Deep State creatures crawl out, and more criminal conduct is uncovered which needs to be meticulously investigated (to see what other rocks get turned over with more criminals under them) and put before probably several grand juries to come back with a large series of indictments. And they also probably realize that they must find a venue where these cases (and there will be many) can find fair juries and even handed judges. Probably not in DC area anywhere.
This is not going to go quickly and easily, the Deep State has it's claws in very deeply, and has many, many crooked players still "inside the wire" and I really doubt much more gets uncovered until late spring of 2020.

Common sense will tell you for the top level FBI super bureaucrats to do what the author of this article laid out and put their career high level positions at risk, they had to have been given a wink and a nod from the highest level in the Obama White House.
